I normally wear a size 8 and have never noticed my foot was wide, I have never had to get a "special" width before. I ordered the 39 and they were so big, my toes barely came to the toe strap! I returned them and got the 38 instead. My feet fit fine in the smaller size, length wise...my foot is apparently too wide for these super cute sandals! They too are going back, but thanks to Zappos awesome team it won't be too much of an issue!

Very cute sandal, but the straps over the toes are too loose, while the ankle strap is too tight. Unfortunately, these have to go back. Thanks, Zappos, for making purchasing & returns so easy!

The footbed of these fit great and they are very comfortable and supportive. However, the straps were so loose that the shoes are unwearable for me. My feet are a little bit narrow and I have a high arch. The straps over the toes and top of the foot were so loose I could stick my entire hand in the space with the shoes on. I had high hopes for these shoes, but unfortunately they're going back.

Unfortunately the 42 was too short for my toes (I am a size 11). Also the arch is not very good and it cut into my foot in a bad spot. I thought they were cute in person though.

I bought these last year, and I loved them, I really did. They are not the cutest things ever (I am a 25 year old who pronates and needs arch support - not a ton of choices that do not look like they are 20 years too old for me), but they were better than other stuff. Very quickly, the black cloth stuff under the straps started coming off. Ew. But that was alright - didn't hurt the quality of the shoe. What did, however, was how much it stretched. Now to get them even somewhat tight on my feet, I have to pull the strap almost to the end of the Velcro. The strap is hanging out and looks awful. It makes the shoe look older and not great. I wore these all around Europe last summer, but now this summer I have to look for new shoes. Again. Really disappointing. These are not worth the price with the stretching. I wish Naot would address this problem.

The pair I received had the straps placed differently on the two shoes. I think the left shoe was defective, as the front strap was further back than on the right one, and this caused the teardrop shaped strap in the middle to pucker. Seemed comfortable otherwise, but I'm returning them.

Although these are the sandals that I have been looking for, they are just to narrow and strappy thus the straps rub. The footbed feels absolutely great. I wish the straps were of softer leather. Also, the thin strap across the ankle is the only point of fastening and it is rather flimsy. The weight of the sole is heavier than this strap can handle. Soft bottom, rough top.

Really lovely, delicate looking sandal (as Naot / comfort footwear goes.) The Naot sole is incredible comfy, and they look great, but (on my feet) the front straps are way too big, and they are unadjustable. Though the length of the footbed is right, I can curl the entire front half of my foot up under the front straps, so these will have to go back. If you have a taller forefoot, I would recommend them, though, as they are very pretty.

Not for wide feet! I was really hoping these would fit and they look so pretty, but my fat feet fell out of them.

I wish these fit! But I have a hard time finding sandals for my narrow feet. The straps are way too loose. I bought in a size 9, which is my usual sandal size. Length is fine so going down a size wouldn't help.

Too narrow and small

These Run Narrow! Such a bummer, as they are great otherwise.

I wanted to LOVE these, but they were way too narrow for my foot. Super. Ute otherwise and for someone who has a more narrow foot. I’m sure they’d be really good.

Naot’s always been my go to brand for sandals. I haven’t replaced the handful of pairs I own because they wear so well. Decided to buy more just because, and what a disappointment! The footbed’s shorter than my others, and the leather is so narrow…it’s like Naot’s trying to increase their profit by cutting corners. Additionally, the strap is shorter than my previous sandals, which means the short run of velcro might not be adequate. Argh!! It’s like when your favorite bra or nail polish is discontinued & you have to start from scratch again.?

Med width is incredibly narrow.

bought red, color quickly faded. one shoe faded differently than the other. Good quality otherwise but relegated to wearing on the farm, not in good company.

These fit way too short and too tight

This shoe is far too narrow. I would say I have somewhat narrow to normal width feet. I cannot wear wide shoes. However, the sides of my foot hung over the sides of this shoe. I would definitely get blisters trying to make these work. They are super cute and seem good quality, but I returned.

These didn't fit my feet right and I didn't find them very flattering. I didn't care for the quality of the leather, which felt stiff and roughly stitched together. I usually wear a 39 but ordered a 40 and they were still too short.

Too narrow.

As other reviewers have said, these run small. Not just small lengthwise, but in width, as well. I have a fairly narrow foot but these were hilariously narrow. The ankle strap also runs very small and is off a bit. It's as if they took a size 6 and extended the length but didn't scale up anything else.

Everything else was exceptional, but Nyat seems always to run small. Sad. I really loved them.

The strap was too short to close. Had it been longer to cross the top of my foot comfortably, I would have kept them. The sole was very comfortable. I was sad to send them back.
