For general sneakers/casual shoes I have always preferred New Balance. They last forever and, in my experience, do not require a break in period. They feel right, right away. I loved the retro styling on this pair and the value cannot be beat.

I had never owned a pair of New Balance shoes, sneakers or otherwise, before this blazing yellow color caught my eye. I am glad that I took a chance on these shoes as they are among the most comfortable ones that I have ever owned in my entire life. Zappos' excellent return policy made it an easy decision.

I bought these shows for work (I work 8-10h long shifts were I'm on my feet all the time). The shoes are very comfortable, I bought the EE wide version. They are a great for work and I like the vintage flavor.

These shoes have great arch support and are very light. The burgundy color I bought doesn't show dirt! I'll probably be buying these shoes again.

Amazing value. Retro looking with a modern twist. Super comfortable. Removable insole. Fits my orthotics. Shopped for weeks in conventional brick and mortar stores and could not find stylish comfortable sneakers at a good price that had removable insoles. I even went to a New Balance store. They only carried a limited selection and they were all over 100 dollars.

Nice looking shoe, very comfortable. My only complaint is the soles are very slippery when wet. I've almost fallen twice, so I'll now wear my old shoes if it's going to be wet out. Otherwise very good shoe, and awesome ventilation.

My first pair of New Balance... they feel great and look nice. Seems a sturdy build. Picked 1/2 a size smaller my usual size seemed too big.. smaller size feels a little snug but comfortable. I'd rather break in a snug fit than deal with a loose shoe. Comfortable to walk in!

I love this shoe! Not only is it stylish, but it feels good and wears well. It's super comfy with good support too.

Like these shoes a lot. Was not able to find them in a brick and mortar store. Even the New Balance store had no idea about them when I asked. Got them quickly from Zappos. They fit well, are a good casual shoe that gets me compliments.

I love my 574's and zappos has a great selection and seems to always have my size. They shipped quick as well.

These are my first pair of New Balance but it will not be my last. These are extremely comfortable and look great while still being understated which is my preference. As always, Zappos service and shipping was excellent.

Ordered an 11.5, fit is spot on. Bought to replace an older grey suede version of this shoe I've been rocking for over 5 years. The leather trim on this one is much nicer. Love these shoes.

These shoes rule! Nice looking, they go well with jeans, shorts, etc., and they're extremely comfortable. I have wide feet and high arches, so shoes are usually too tight and/or don't provide enough support/cushion. These felt just right the second I put them on. If I were planning on spending a whole day on my feet, I'd add some inserts for extra arch support, But for just casual day-to-day wear, they're fine as they are.

Always been a fan of the New Balance Classics series and these do not disappoint. I like the smooth leather material over the usual suede leather.

Best shoe I have bought. Runs a size big. Tons of compliments. I wear these at work 8 hrs a day. May have vintage running shoe style but this shoe is not meant for running.

The bend at the toe of these shoes some what bothers me and the shoe feels a little bigger than the actual size. I have to have them laced tight in order for these shoes to not slip off my feet when walking.

Great sneakers for casual wear. My husband wasn't sure about the leather - was hoping for the normal suede like his old pair, but it's growing on him.

New Balance 574s are classic. This color way is great!

This shoe is veer light, but provides good support. The bottom is versatile and I use it for softball, racquetball and gym. I have always worn a size 15M, but found that in this shoe I needed a 16M, which fits perfectly. (Although my last shoe was also a New Balance a 15 fit well, it goes to show that with sneakers it's never a given.) That said, Zappos was extremely cooperative in helping me find the right size; which can be somewhat of a process when done through online ordering.

Great looking shoes! At first, since I have wide feet, they felt a little narrow. But after a wear or two, it's comfortable and doesn't feel tight anymore. I use these for weekend errands/casual wear and not for running. I could walk in these for hours!

I love these! I ordered the green, red and yellow pair and they are so comfy! These are my first New Balance shoes and I can't believe I've never had another pair. I love the retro style. I get compliments all the time with them. They're really comfy to walk in and ride your bike in as they don't slip off the pedal. I'd definitely get another pair!

Zappos was the only place I could find my size in a good sneaker. The New Balance Classic is a very comfortable shoe, although I think the sole should be about a quarter of an inch thicker. I would recommend these shoes to others.

Classic New Balance shoe. Getting harder to find except on Zappos. Pictures were very accurate, color-wise. Great, all-around shoe for walking around.
