If you give yourself time to break them in and get used to them, they will be your go to flip-flops. I made the mistake of wearing them for too long the first day and ended up with sore legs. Took it easy after that, only an hour or 2 at a time, and now I love them.

These are the most comfortable pair of sandals in my closet! My only complaint is that the straps are a little loose. I prefer a tighter/narrower fit. Otherwise, highly recommend this sandal I have 2 pair!

These are great, a zillion times better than the first reiteration of this design which I had bought and then returned because the straps were so loose. I ordered these in the same size as my other Earth shoes and they fit perfectly. However, don't expect a real firm foot bed and arch support like other Earth designs. They have a more cushy feel and the foot bed on these flips tends to get softer with wear. But, that being said, I had not been able to wear casual flip flops in a long time because of foot pain until I tried these and I now have two pair.

Extremely comfortable and they didn't need a break-in period. They are definitely sporty though, so if you think because they are black you can pull them off with a skirt, you may want a different shoe. I have plantar fasciitis and I thought these would help; they didn't. However, you can tell that you are working your legs more so I can see how they help burn calories.

I have had the pleasant experience of dealing with Zappos on several occasions, and each time it has been perfect. Immediate delivery, never a mistake. The Earth shoes I recently purchased are comfortable and durable. You can throw them in the wash machine and they're brand new again. I would recommend them to anyone.

These are pretty comfortable Earth shoes. I don't love the strap across the toes, but they aren't uncomfortable so much as just make my toes look squished. The incline isn't really noticeable in this sandal as it is in other models and in the sports shoes, but they are comfortable enough that that doesn't matter so much.

Great sturdy flip-flop at reasonable price. I originally wanted something similar from Chaco but didn't want to spend the money. This was a great stylish alternative. The foot bed is very comfortable but the straps are a little stiff and not sure if that will change? I wore them in Hawaii and did have some areas that were rubbed red by the straps but this might have been due to all the sand.

This is my third pair of Cabo sandals, and I would like to warn other repeat buyers that Earth has completely and totally redesigned the shoes. For one thing, my two old pairs were size 10, the new pair that fits is an 11. The shoes are narrower and the straps tighter, but they still fit my very wide feet all right. I preferred the blockier look of the old sole, but I have to admit that the new shape makes my feet look less duck-like. The sole is squishier and a completely different texture, and I am not all that into it.

I love the feel of Earth Shoes and the effect on my posture is great. However, I found the toe thong to be incredibly uncomfortable. I thought my feet would adapt to the pressure by wearing in increasing amounts of time, but they still just rub painfully. Unfortunately I cannot return them for a different Earth Shoe style since I have worn them too much. I'll keep trying to work with them.

I purchased these sandals because I liked the look of them and they had great reviews. This was my first pair of Earth shoes. However, the first time I wore them (about 2 hours of walking around the mall), my feet really hurt. I could feel a ripping sensation in the middle of my foot from lack of arch support. I will stick to my Naot, Fitflops and Haflinger Shoes.

I bought this together with an "Orthaheel Tide" and one "New Balance Minimus Vibram Thong" for comparison. I had wanted Earth Kalso for years now but in Tokyo and in my size 9, all of these are impossible to get, so I finally found a friend going to vacation to USA and willing to ship them to me. That being said, it was clear from the start that I won't be able to send anything back to Zappos. So I did my study & read hundreds of reviews before ordering. Finally they arrived and I gave it a month of testing before writing a review. The Kalso Earth wasn't as Negative Heel as I imagined them to be! They were almost like any other thongs. Keeping in mind that I love thongs and wear them all through the hot Japanese summer, so maybe my feet & legs, muscles are used with such. To the shoe design: the opening for the big toe is somewhat small, so it took me a good 9 seconds for each shoe to get them on and some 12 seconds to pull them out. I don't have abnormal feet, but the strap is just very tight there. It didn't bother when walking though, so I don't mind about that. But my rating of 1 is because of the following complaints: after one month, they already have holes in the heel, and I wore them alternately with the other 2 brands I bought! And I don't expect to pay this much for a thong and it doesn't even last a month! Next huge complaint: they make my feet stink! Sure, it is hot, I walk for 2 or 3 hours at times and sweat, but out of the 3 pairs only these make my feet stink! Why not use some special antibacterial sole, to avoid this, just like other brands can do it? Next complaint, they throw dust on themselves while walking. How to explain, I don't know as it is the first time ever to have this experience, not even $10 beach sandals do that! While walking, it will throw dust and tiny stones from the street under my foot's skin and I notice it while walking! Even worse, the sole under my skin has a special structure with many tiny round holes, some 2mm deep, that will then get filled with that dust, as it gets fixed in there, with the sweat! I have never experienced something so crazy. What was Kalso thinking, no idea. But I will never buy this again, even if the fit was okay and very easy to walk in them. But Stinky Feet? And holes in heels? In just a few weeks? For this price? No!

Zappos has excellent service. The Earth shoes I purchased are poor quality for the price and only after a few weeks are showing significant wear. I have a pair of Fitflops and they have lasted longer and are very comfortable.

Love these! Perfect combination of flip-flop comfort but the second strap adds a security on the foot so you don't feel like they're going to fall off. I have terrible feet/ankles and these are my go-to summer shoe.

I have Plantar Fasciitis in both feet. These are the only sandals I can wear without pain. On my third pair, I buy them every summer and wear them down to nothing.

I have very flat feet so am always looking for shoes with just the right arch. These shoes hurt a bit for the first 30 minutes or so until I got used to them, and after that, they starting feeling great. I wear them every day - they're perfect.

My husband cherish his third pair of Kalso Earth Sandals, he get's the women's size 10 and they feel and work comfortably.

Sizing has changed! Order true size! Bought these sandals for my daughter in a size 7 because they used to run big but she couldn't wear them as they were tight across the strap. They ended up in my closet and I love them--very comfy but be warned about sizing.

This is my second pair of these sandals. They are the best. They are light weight, sturdy, offer great support and are durable. My first pair lasted for 2 years. I wear them for 40 daily walks, shopping and urban trekking. Great if you are on your feet for long periods. They run true to size. My feet are a little narrow and the fit is perfect while there is room for an average width as well. I saw a woman with much wider feet than mine wearing them and she loved hers as well. There is nothing bad to say about these shoes.

I needed a new pair of all-around sandals in time for our trip to Kauai. These fit the bill. I haven't experienced any heel or foot pain while or after wearing them. Kalso Earth is my go-to shoe when my feet start bugging me. This sandal is true to my size 8, although I wish the straps that hug the big toe were just a bit looser. I'm hoping they will stretch out over time. These could be dressed up a bit more if they didn't have the KALSO name in white on the top strap.

I love Kalso Earth Shoes and needed a some nice sandals for an upcoming trip. These came today and I put them on right out of the box and took them for a one mile walk. They are so comfortable, I ordered some for my sister. I took the advise I read in the other reviews, I wear a size 8 1/2 and ordered a size 9. Happy feet!

Great shoe! Purchased as a change from a "normal" flip flop. Sturdy cushioned footbed but takes a little bit of getting used to due to the negative heel. My foot is an average width and the cross piece didn't pinch or rub.

A friend had given me a pair like this when they were under the Earth shoe brand about 4 years ago because she didn't like the fit. I wore them out over 3 seasons. I loved them! I'd tried a pair in the same size in a shoe store last year, but the cross straps were way too tight. I decided to look again online and got the exact same size and color as the first pair, a size 7. Usually I wear a 7.5 or even 8. These fit perfectly at size 7. They look much dressier than a flip flop, but are much more comfortable. I'm so happy to have these!

This is by far the most wonderful sandal I have ever worn. It provides excellent arch support and the negative heel allows all day comfort. The straps fit snuggly so that the shoe hugs your foot. I have loved Kalso Earth shoes for years but I must say that except for this sandal I have become very disappointed in the overall quality of the Kalso brand. No longer do they have an all leather lining but rather synthetic lining which, of course, will not wick perspiration. The materials and quality of workmanship have really slipped. The negative heel, for me, is the only redeeming feature. Karen
