I really like the look of this shoe but I have not had good luck. I'm returning a second pair because the strap by the big toe has ripped out of the sole. Another review mentioned that the big toe strap was tight, perhaps that's why I'm having trouble with that particular strap.

I bought these shoes 3 years ago and they were perfect. Great support, great weight, incredibly comfortable. Oh boy, have things changed. The footbed is made out of a much heavier, harder material that does not flex easily and is not nearly as comfortable, and the material between the toes is hard and compact. Finally, if you have even average size feet, the cloth straps gap loosely forcing you to use your toes constantly to keep the shoe on. Not sure what happened to the Cabo - it was an awesome shoe at one point.

So in my search for comfortable yet supportive sport sandals these were a fail. The canvas straps were too tight and had not give. The sole was comfortable and supportive and I like earth's negative heel but enjoyed my Exerfits for a full two seasons. These could not replace them.

I ordered a size 11. My feet are pretty much a regular 11, though perhaps between B and C width. I couldn't even fit my feet into the shoes. They look very nice, but I'm sending them back.

I purchased this flip flop on April 13 of this year. On July 28th the strap broke off. Up until then, it was the best flip flop I've ever owned. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and my feet hurt a lot. They never hurt with this sandal. So, against my better judgement, I have ordered a second pair. I am scared they will break again but what am I going to do?

I got my first pair of Earth Cabo San Lucas sandals two years ago. They were fabulous, comfortable, had great heal cushion and arch support. I wore them out. I ordered a new pair recently and its not the same shoe. My old pair was a 10B, so I was surprised that when I ordered a new pair in 10B that they didn't fit-- much too narrow! Noticing the "2" next to the style name now, I ordered the next size up thinking that they must have changed the shoe slightly. When I got the 11B, they still were way too narrow! I am so bummed that I no longer can wear this shoe and I have to now find another flip flop that offers cushion and arch support (which is normally unheard of in flip flops).

Despite all the rave reviews, I think these shoes are a little overrated. They do provide good support, but the top bands blister the tops of my feet. I am determined to wear them in, but it's not going to be easy!

I wanted to love these. I need negative heel shoes. I love the way these look and they would be absolutely perfect except that the straps that go around the big toe are so tight they cut off the circulation in my toes. At first I bought a size 10 (my usual size). They were not too tight, but a bit too short. I exchanged them for an 11 - great length but super tight. I am going to return these, too. Maybe stick with the 10 even though they are a bit short. Ugh. Why can no one make perfect shoes?

So disappointed. Owned a sandal of this style for 2 years and love it. Wanted more, and bought the blue and the gold ones. But they are not the same. The fabric is hard, rough and stiff unlike my old pair. Also the fabric is cut shorter which makes the fit tighter and narrower even though the sole is identical. I couldn't slide my foot all the way in. The gap for the big toe is especially narrow. I do not have wide feet and usually tighten velcro straps as far as they go, so this is really abnormally tight. Back they go.

I love Earth shoes, but the strap going across the toes is in a weird position. It just squeezes your toes together, like a pointy shoe. The strap needs to be positioned on the other side of the big toe joint (towards the arch) for support so it lets the toes spread out like they want to.

I found these to be too heavy and uncomfortable. They were just too "constructed" for comfortable flip flops. The soles are not cushioned at all; they're very hard and full of ridges and nubbins. I guess this brand isn't for me; I'll stick to my Tevas.

These looked so comfortable, but were such a narrow fit across the front strap that they were very uncomfortable and had to be returned.

Left foot very tight straps. Caused blisters on arch & second toe. Have never had a problem before with shoe fit. Will try and have left sandal stretched.

I love Earth shoes, and loved the flip flop they made a few years back and needed a new pair. There is something strange in the design of these, they have an elastic piece in the front inner strap that pinches the ball of my foot as I walk and the elastic pulls out. Not painful but definitely annoying so back they go. Love Zappos.

I love Earth brand shoes but was sadly disappointed with these. The area where the straps are sewn together is bunched underneath and the plastic fabric is very sharp. I didn't even have to stand up in these before I knew they were going back. Had them on less than a minute and they left red marks on top of my feet. Maybe this pair was just defective but I am not taking a chance on another pair. Will try antoehr style, maybe not the Vegan variety.

I was excited to find the negative heel Kalso Earth brand in flip flops because I've loved the sneaker-type shoes from them and I think these are really cute. But I couldn't even take one step in these sandals. (I couldn't answer the questions about size, width, and arch support because I couldn't get them on to test them.) The straps are stiff and unyielding and I could barely squeeze my big toe through the hoop. They killed my bunion! I thought from the picture there would be plenty of room and the straps looked to be soft with a little give to them, but I was wrong. Sadly, I've had to return them.

I have been wearing Earth shoes for about 6 years and I love them. My last pair of flip flops finally gave out after heavy wear for 2 years so I ordered a new pair. I wear a size 7, sometimes an 8. I ordered a 7 and they were way too small (not even as long as my foot). I exchanged them for a size 8, which were still so narrow I couldn't get my foot in them. I might try a 9, but I have the feeling they will be too long and the arch will be in the wrong place. I am very disappointed. I was a loyal Earth Shoe customer, but I do feel that their quality has gone downhill in the past few years.

I was so disappointed in these! Bought them to replace my Kalso Earth Cabos from about 2-3 years ago. Not sure what changed for the Cabo 2, but the sole feels much stiffer. The last pair literally fit "like a glove" as soon as I tried them on, not so this time. I will return them and keep looking for a replacement for the Cabo, which finally fell apart after lots of use.

I have bad feet and a bad back. These sandals had a hard inner sold and the straps did not come far enough up on my foot so that I felt that they would not slip off. I wish I could find the sandals I bought last year. I still love to wear them and they feet fantastic to my feet.

Good looking, bad feeling on the feet. The length was too long, the straps way too tight. Unfortunately for me, they didn't work.

The Earth Kalso Cabo San Lucas 2 does not fit my foot! I have purchased 5 pair of the original sandals and have worn them about 9 months of the year for 4 years. THEY FIT! This sandal is shorter and tighter, and does NOT fit! Why would they make the same sandal shorter and tighter? When they had sold millions of the original version?
I'd also recommend:
I only wore the original Earth Cabo San Lucas because it fit, the "2" does not, so I am at a loss!

Well, I loved the shoe as far as comfort goes. But I am very disappointed in the durability. I purchased these flip flops two years ago and they have literally fallen apart. Yes, I do wear these shoes often. Every day? Not even close! For some time now (like a year) they have been getting worn out around the edges and heel, making them not really acceptable to wear in public. So I just kind of wear them around the house. Now the whole strap pulled out! I feel like flip flops at this price should have a lot more life than I got out of these. Seriously, I have Old Navy $2.50 flip flops that out-lasted these!

I attempted to make this my first pair of Earth shoes. I have a friend that has an older pair and swears by them for comfort. I just had bilateral knee replacements so comfort in a shoe with good support is a must for me. I usually wear a 7 or a 7.5 so in this shoe I ordered a 7 and an 8. The 7 was too short. The 8 fit, but I felt walking was very difficult in this shoe. For lack of a better description, I felt as though I was walking uphill finding it very difficult to walk normal in this shoe. While I prefer a pretty, strappy sandal I thought the style was cute and appropriate for capris and shorts. I gave a 3 star for comfort but only because the foot bed is comfy and the arch support is good. I'm disappointed that this shoe didn't work out for me. I'm going to try the Keen sandal now and see how I do with that.

I ordered these shoes a few years ago (when the brand was Earth, not Kalso Earth) and loved them so much I wore them into the ground. I ordered a pair to replace them this summer. The new pair arrived and the materials are noticeably cheaper and the fit was not quite right in the toe area. One of the straps seemed to be pulling out of the footbed upon arrival. Back to Zappos they go! I hope that Kalso will improve their products so that they are back to the standard that long-time Earth shoe-wearers are accustomed to sporting.

I bought two pairs at different times. They were very comfortable but the straps on the sides pulled out of the shoe on each pair after about two months. I tried gluing the straps back in but it was not as good as it was before. For this price they should last more than two months.
