Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)

Got this for sailing, I wear an 8narrow so my options were fairly limited. I wanted a shoe that was not leather, but this was the only boating shoe I could find in narrow size (and it still has leather upper) so I got it anyway. It's OK, not amazing, esp for the price. When I wear it, it fits fine... I think my feet just don't love Sperry, is all. The shoes always leave marks on my toes, plus they are leather upper and I am wearing them on a boat. Sperry - could you please provide some canvas upper shoes for my narrow heels? Thanks!

I've always wanted to have a cool pair of top-siders, but alas, they never fit quite right. Great construction and a classic look. However these are very tight and stiff and I just don't want to let shoes break my feet in anymore. Perhaps try one size wider than you usually use.

I had read other people's reviews of these shoes before purchasing them, and it seemed that the most common suggestion was to buy a half size smaller, which I did. Unfortunately, that advice didn't really work for me the shoes ended up being uncomfortably tight, so I bought one true to my normal size (8.5) and have since appreciated that my toes are no longer scrunched. Returns were super easy with Zappos (but I ended up canceling my return, keeping both shoes and just giving the extra pair to my mother who, luckily, has smaller feet). The shoes look great! But my feet have been too pampered by well-padded sneakers for several years, so wearing these Sperries for the first time was a painful experience. My ankles were rubbed pretty raw even with liner socks, and the flap of the shoe presses pretty hard on the top of my foot. I'm hoping that the leather will soften and loosen with use like some other reviewers have said.

Run narrow so take advantage of the wide option! They do require some breaking in, definitely had a few blisters but after about 3-4 wears they're perfect!

These shoes are really cute. However, because it is made out of leather, it is going to take a few weeks to break these in. I wore these fresh out of the box and walked in them for about a mile without any socks and I had gotten some really bad blisters on my heels. Also, on my screen the shoes look like they are a light pink but they are a light tan. Still very cute though! I think once I get padding for the back heels they should be good to go!

I have a narrow 7 1/2AA foot and need some arch support. SAS and Munro have been good choices in the past and I'd heard Sperry ran narrow. Not this one unfortunately. It's cute but feels more like a M. Length seemed good but not much support.

The toe box is a bit uncomfortable and too narrow-I recommend wearing socks with these for awhile. After they stretch and weather the toe burn, they proved to be cute with linen skirts and comfortable without socks.

I really love the look and colors of these shoes. They look rather pink in the photo but they are not. But that is ok because they go with everything. Another reason I bought them was because they came in a narrow width. However, they run wide!

I normally wear a 7 or 7.5 W depending on the shoe. I ordered these in 7W and they were much too narrow across the toe box. Cute shoe, and perhaps it would have stretched out with wearing, but it was too painful to even stand with my bunions. Sadly returning.

I had ordered this shoe in a 9.5 Narrow, but it was still too wide for my narrow foot. As we know many of the Sperry shoes are very similar in style. I have noticed a slight difference in size with style changes. If you change the style you may have to check the sizing. I had tried one of these similar styles on at DSW and it was a Medium fitting so I thought the Narrow would fit. The only difference in the style was the shoe at DSW had just one eyelet on both sides for the laces, and the Zappos style had two eyelets. I am going to try one more style with Sperry as I so want them to fit as I love the shoe!

Another good shoe from Sperry and love the slip-on style. Comfortable and true to size. Needs some breaking in to soften up the leather.

I loved the looks of this shoe and needed it for work where I'm on my feet up to 9 hours a day. The first pair of 11's which is my size were too small so I sent those back for a 12. The 12's are nice but I haven't quite broke them in yet and got blisters. I'm hoping wearing them at home with socks will break them in.

Good for air-conditioned offices and short walks around town. Toe box is a bit roomier than traditional models. You can still use the laces to adjust the width of the heel and forefoot areas, which is a big plus. Shoe is leather and fabric, so cleaning requires effort. Sperry or the logo is in 5 - 7 locations per shoe, depending on how you count. That's a bit much; I prefer an understated look.

I have been covetous of my friends' Sperrys for a while. The easy, comfortable, matches-everything, casual look was missing from my closet. I have a wide forefoot, so I was happy to find the wider width option. I have to say, the toe box is still pretty narrow; it's a snug fit up front. The heel is very wide, though, so much so that I had to buy heel grips to stick inside the shoes - otherwise my heel would pop out with each step. They are comfortable enough, though, with cushiony support. And I do love the summery, informal look.

Love these shoes, but to be honest there were other Sperry Top-Sider styles that had more style and that I liked better. However, I bought these because they were the only Sperry Top-Siders that came in a narrow size. I've enjoyed wearing them with ankle pants this spring. I would like to see more shoe styles from Sperry in a narrow width.

I love these shoes! They have the classic, boat shoe look. Granted, they did take some time to break in, but once I added a rubber grip on the heel and had worn them for a week or so, there were not any problems. They are comfortable to walk around in and are great for a casual outfit.

Toe and toe joint area is narrower than I was expecting. The good news is that it does wear in rather nicely though. Pleased overall with it.

Really love the shoe - do not like the "silver" laces. The laces are only silver on one of the four sides, and the other sides are light blue. Looks weird - will be putting in a new set of laces.

These shoes look so cute in the box, however, not on my foot unfortunately! Shoe does not look very good on a large & wide flat footed person (at least not me!). I also need a shoe where I can insert my orthotic, which this shoe does not allow. Sorry Zappos, but thanks for your outstanding customer service!

I take a size ten normally but got the 9 1/2 wide...everyone's been saying you should order half a size down...but even after a few weeks of break-in time, I honestly think these would've felt better in a 10. They just haven't stretched far enough in the toe in my opinion. The wide width though, is just fine. I would not wear these shoes for extended periods of time as real arch support is lacking.

Really cute, super comfortable, BUT, I haven't had these shoes for 3 months and the mesh has worn out on both shoes! I was replacing an older pair that I've had for over 3 years and have used a lot, and that issue never happened to the other pair.

These shoes are even cuter than I expected. I love the color combination and they're really durable. However, they only seem to be comfortable for a short amount of time. If I wear them for longer than a couple hours or walk a substantial amount, my feet start to ache and I get blisters. They are true to size, so I keep hoping they adjust to my feet with some wear. I'd love for these to be my new "wear all day walking shoes," but they still rub blisters - especially on the back of the heel.

I wear nothing but Sperry brand boat shoes and have for a long time. These shoes are of course well made, true to size (I never wear socks with them) but...for some reason after wearing them all day and thinking Wow, they are comfy, I found I had developed a blister on one heel. Very unusual for this brand. But I like the style & color so I'll try to find a way to reinforce/pad the heel of the one shoe until I break them in. Although I've never had to break-in a pair of Sperry's before.
