Love 'em! They fit perfectly and didn't have to go up or down a size. However, if you want to wear a thicker sock, I recommend going up a half size since they are a pretty close fit with even a thin sock.

I ordered my usual sneaker and boot size and it fit fine. The leather doesn't wrinkle in any noticeable way but they did have a new leather squeak that went away after a few days. The hourglass sole and sleek design make this the most feminine yet practical sneakeresque shoe ever. I thought the wedge would be higher, more pronounced, but it's very subtle, easy to walk in. One word of caution: The lining is cute but bare-bones (no real cushion nor arch) but I you can always add an insert. If you need extra cushion, you might want to half-size up. The style is amazing and astonishing that this hasn't been invented sooner. It's like a saddle shoe but more modern, more narrow. That slight point at the toe is very slimming.

Wonderful shoes, super cute and really comfy. I ordered my regular size and suggest if you will be wearing with socks, go a size up. Ordered on a Saturday and arrived on my door step Monday morning. Really fast service and incredibly reliable customer service at Zappos. Will be ordering again very soon!

These shoes are cute! I'm a size 7 and ordered a 7. The overall fit is great. However, there is one problem. The leather on this shoe wrinkles with every step I take, but to some it may just add character. I've received so many compliments on these!

I love these snazzy shoes, I have received many compliments on them for their retro saddle shoe design. I recommend ordering half a size up if you plan to wear them with cotton socks. When I wore them with thin nylon socks, they were a bit too big so the crease line on the shoe below my toes dug into the top of my feet (which hurt). So I guess if you wear no socks/thin socks, your usual size should be fine, too.

These shoes are smaller than they are suppose to be. I am usually a 6½-7 but I had to get a 7½. The quality is not that good either. Even though they say that they are made out of leather, they are thin, and I feel like they are going to wear out sooner or later. I would not advise you to wear these shoes if you are doing a lot of walking because they are not all that comfortable.

Nice style overall, my only complaint is that the leather seems cheap but that's what I expected for the money.

I love these shoes! If you're planning to wear thin socks or no socks you'll be in good shape. If you're a thick sock wearer be careful. I have a medium width foot and this one runs a little narrow.

Fit a bit tight at first, you could see the bump my big toe made. After a couple wears they're stretching out perfectly. At first I was worried about myself and partially white shoes, but I've already spilled coffee on them and it wipes away easily. I love that I can wear them with skirts and dresses rather than wearing heels. Keeps it comfortable and less serious.

Easy to wear, a little narrow, but very comfortable. Looks great with jeans and dress pants.

Great shoes, though I would suggest buying a full size larger than you normally wear. Don't know what it is with these new Vans, but it seems they're running small these days.

Like many other reviewers, I felt this shoe definitely runs small. It felt snug but okay at first, but the longer I wore them the more they started to rub. I always wear an 8 and usually am even fine with a 7 1/2, but I had to return my size 8s in these. Hopefully the 8 1/2 will work, because they are adorable shoes!

They look really great, but the size is too small. I usually wear 6 1/2 but this pair's 6 1/2 is too small for me. So I may return it and buy a size 7.

I love the look but the toe is pointer than it seems... it didn't look so good on my foot.

Very cute and comfortable. I have never worn Vans before but I like these. I am a true size 10 and these fit perfectly. And, they do not make my feet looks like a boat so I like that.

I wanted a pair of comfortable shoes that I could wear to work every day with socks (since it is getting cold). These are perfect for what I wanted. They're comfortable & versatile.

Pretty cute shoes. A little too pointy for me, and absolutely no support. Would be okay if you're not doing a lot of walking or standing. Front of toe was already a little scuffed too, so might be hard to keep looking new. Sent back and ordered some classic Vans sneakers that I know and love.

Not the same as the original Vans 'Sophie' from Spring 2010. I've had these shoes on my fashion inspiration board for over a year, so when it was time for me to re-up on my shoe collection, namely oxfords, I went to search for these. I was so happy and pleased to find them on Zappos on sale! I was like a kid at Christmas when opening the box, but once I put them on...I don't know, they just didn't have the "I love these" effect I thought they would. I tried them on for my sister, kept looking at them in the mirror, then finally figured out why they didn't look as good on my feet when I went to look at the photo of the original Vans Sophie featured in Teen Vogue last Spring...the color! The coloring is different from the original 'Sophie' and from a "true" saddle oxford. The tongue of the shoe is supposed to be the color of the bottom part of the shoe, so for example -- tan bottom, brown middle, tan tongue, tan shoelaces. Instead these have a completely brown upper, brown tongue and brown shoelaces. And it takes away so much from the traditional saddle oxford appeal. These are not the same shoes Vans originally introduced, it's a modified version and the coloring makes it much more masculine and not as cute, dainty, and preppy. I hate that I have to send these back, but I do. These don't do it for me. I've also ordered about 6 other pair of oxfords, including the Steve Madden 'trousers' from Nordstrom, since they had them half off, and I must say those are much cuter then these even though they're seemingly more masculine because of the wing-tip and shape. I have a tanner/deep brown complexion, so that may add to why I don't care for them -- they blend in too much, but even on a paler, lighter person they won't have that true, classic, cute saddle-oxford look that we all love. Definitely a "no" for those looking for that stand-out, classic saddle oxford look.

I had to return these shoes. I absolutley love Vans sneakers, but these looked like orthopedic shoes in person. The sole is like sneakers, which is not bad, but it does not have a heel at all making this look like a sneaker. It does not look very oxford-like in person and I was really disappointed that I had to return them.
