Very thin and light, almost feels like you are not wearing a shoe! No padding or arch support, but still quite comfortable.

I ordered these shoes for my son. He put them on as soon as they arrived and he loves them. He says that they are comfy with or without socks.

LOVE them! I ordered these last minute for Christmas and they arrived the very next day. Size was right on, couldn't be happier.

My son loves these shoes! He likes them so much he wants me to order him some more to wear as backups when these wear out!

Ordered these shoes for my son, they run true to size and he says they are very comfortable! I have even washed them in the washer already and they look brand new. Incredibly fast shipping, and right before Christmas, too!

These shoes are great! Most comfortable shoes I have put on in a long time. Casual enough for bumming around, but still look good enough to dress down a fancier look. I am going to buy a backup pair in case they are not available when I go to buy a new pair.

These offer nice versatility, got them in khaki. Very lightweight, a tad lower around the ankles than the picture leads on. Soft fabric has it's ups and downs as I like to keep shoes laced and slide my foot in but these require some finger assistance to get them on. The stitching on the front of the shoe sits right in the nook where my big toenail ends and the skin begins which bugs me sometimes and I'd say I have pretty average toes so this may be something to keep in mind if you too have average toes that don't like stitching hanging out in them. All in all they're worth the price.

Comfortable. Stylish. Quite possibly the greatest shoes in the history of shoes.

My daughter has a size 13 medium foot and shoes are so hard for her to find, but she loves these Vans! They are super comfortable and can be worn everyday for school, they seem to go with everything! Also by purchasing the hemp fabric I am going green by using a sustainably forested plant.

I bought these for my son, he loves them... California surf look, kind of a cross between a shoe and a slipper.

These shoes are awesome! My boyfriend loves them. They look really good with everything. I wasn't sure what type of shoes to get him, but these were obviously the best ones. They are good for dress up, or dress down.

These shoes are perfect. I was looking for a light comfortable shoe and the Rata did not disappoint. They form to your feet and everything about it feels so much more natural than any other shoe. The perfect relaxed shoe to cruise around in during the summer. I highly suggest this shoe.

I found these sneakers at Urban Outfitters in black and loved them, so I was happy to find the khaki at Zappos! These are hemp versions of old school Keds. I wear these all summer long!

Great shoes. Got two pairs. Tan and Black. After wearing the shoes for about a week maybe two, the hemp fabric begins to form to your foot. Love em.

These are super lightweight and flexible, and feel more like a sandal or a slipper than a sneaker. You barely feel them when they’re on. I wouldn’t recommend them for long walks or skateboarding, but these are probably my favorite pair of Vans that I’ve ever owned! They’re awesome, and look great with jeans. I plan on getting multiple colors.

Bought these shoes for my husband. They are super cool, and very comfortable. He wears them with more serious dress as well as very casual clothes. Wonderful item... support is not so great though.

When I got this shoe in the mail, I was skeptical. Not gonna lie, its a flimsy looking shoe, but looks are deceiving. This shoes is more comfortable than I expected, and despite the fact that the outsole is just a layer of suede with some cloth on the inside, these shoes are warmer than a lot of my other shoes. They felt great once I broke them in a bit.

I like this shoe a lot; fit is good and it looks great. I have a narrow feet so maybe I am a bit biased, but it felt wider than expected. Nonetheless I'm very happy with it.

Solid construction, looks great, very comfortable... until you start walking in it. Often makes my feet hurt walking back and forth to class due to lack of arch support and thinness of the soles. Still glad I have the shoe though!

I bought these for my son. He picked them out. He loves them, but wishes Vans came in wides. They were narrow to start. He has stretched them out a bit, so they are not uncomfortable. But Vans in wide widths would be great, especially because Vans are the only shoes he'll wear...even in Chicago snowstorms!

Look great but not made very well for price. But I feel lucky I picked these up before Vans raised the price. These shoes are not worth the new price. Poor support, hurt my feet if I wear all day.

The shoe is cool, but the craftsmanship is sub par for Vans. The rubber sole started to separate from the shoe at the stress point near the ball of your foot on the side of the shoe (where it bends when you step). Normally this happens after a few months, but in this case it started to happen after a few days. Disappointing since I love Vans.
