I love these sandals for myself so I tried to buy a pair for my husband. Same deal as another reviewer. He typically wears an 11. The 10/11 was WAY too small. In fact it said woman's on the receipt. So I ordered a 12/13 (in the Aloha style) and they were very long and too narrow. Bummer!

This is my first pair of Havainas. I’m a 9.5 and got the 9/10. They are just a little small for my preference, but still wearable. I think a size up would likely be too large. They are well made- my only wish is that they were sized a bit better.

Have these with me at the beach right now. Functional flip flops no great style no great comfort but they do the job. Zappos service can’t be beat

You can never go wrong with a pair of these! Only complaint is that when they arrived, they were way too small for my fiancé. He is a size 12 and these only run in 11/12 or 12/13. So I will now be exchanging them for his correct size.

I love Havaianas, always have and probably always will. This was the first pair I bought for my husband/ He wears a size 9.5 - 10 shoe so I bought him the 9/10 size but they are a little too short for him. I would have exchanged them for a bigger size but he wanted to wear them first to "try them out".

I have worn this for years, generally comfortable with a timeless style, the only downside is the strap always break after around 6 months wear.

Reasonably priced, lightweight and fashionable - what's not to like? Oh wait - they have the life expectancy of a house fly. Yah, I don't like that so much. I get that they're inexpensive - but does the thong / hole interface have to be so damn cheap? Seriously, they seem to last about 4 months.

These are okay as a basic flip flop, like most other reviewers have said. For more everyday walking the Mixed Top and Brazil styles are way better as the soles are a lot thicker and provide more comfort. These do run very small and narrow for their sizing, which is great if you like not to see any sole in front of or to the sides of your feet. The toe platform is quite small and tapers very thin at the front...because of that I find the tips of my toes are always contacting the ground when walking. These aren't the greatest flops for driving as the sole also flexes a lot, letting your toes hang over the edge and leaving them vulnerable to stubbing on the pedals as you move your feet around. The toe post also arches upward as the sole flexes often pinching the top of my foot while driving...for short trips I take them off...for longer trips I pick another pair of flips that have a thicker sole and better toe grip. I find the silver ones the best color, even for a guy, oddly enough...they go with everything. Basic black can't go wrong. Also guys, don't discount how good red looks too. It absolutely rocks with jeans, or try mixing two colors.

Nice, comfortable flip flops but I wish they made a dedicated size 10. They're a bit too long and flap around in the back and a bit too loose at the thong strap.

Very comfortable, but terrible sizing. My foot is longer than the 41/42 size, but the very next size up is an inch too long. What gives?

The toe strap is very uncomfortable. I returned the flip flop.

Fit OK and reasonably comfortable but not the same quality as other Havaianas flip-flops I have had. At $17.00 a pair, I'd say they are a bit over-priced.

The Havaianas flip flops I ordered are excellent as they always are. Ordering through Zappos as a first-time customer was not excellent - my order was cancelled initially by Zappos and only after a threeway phone call between them, my bank and myself to prove my identity did Zappos fulfill my order. Never had that happen before despite nothing untoward occurring with my bank account - must have been the VPN I use which I guess Zappos/Amazon didn't like. Despite living in an urban region, it took over a week for my order to arrive with barely any delivery information available in between. Considering I was a first-time customer, this poor experience means I don't think I'll bother with Zappos again.

I ordered these but had to return. I've had a pair for years. Super comfortable. But they changed the design. Very uncomfortable now. Straps are thinner and dug into my feet. Same at the toes. Sorry guys. You lost me as a customer until you go back in time. Make a retro pair that feel great again.

It's ok. Not very comfortable

I do not recommend these flip flops. Within 45 seconds of putting them on for the first time the connection strap for the toe area had fallen out. I was able to put it back in, but I didn't consider that a good omen and these bad boys have been sitting at the bottom of my closet since.

I bought these Sandals after my last pair broke. I had seen a pair on a friend and assumed they'd be a great purchase. Turns out I was wrong. They're not very comfortable and everything was made out of thick plastic from the straps to the base. Within a month or two, I was out and about going about my normal, daily business and the strap suddenly snapped from the base. It's truly a shame Zappos doesn't feature more sandals of this style at lower price. I was able to go to another national retailer and get a better, longer lasting pair for $3. MUCH happier with that at ?? of the cost!

Not very comfortable. The rubber rubs against your feet in a terrible way. I would save up and get Rainbows instead.

The soles are fairly heavy and the strap is very soft and flexible and while the sole itself was the right size, the strap was way tool loose for me for me, which is a bad combination. The were tied together so I couldn't attempt walking, but I'd imagine they'd fly off my feet if I'd tried. If your feet are "fat" these might work, or maybe the design wasn't scaled up correctly and the smaller sizes fit better but I'll be looking for something with a tighter fit and lighter/more flexible sole.

Plastic straps tend to get reversed and very uncomfortable. Attachment plugs stick out of bottom. Heavier than expected. A bit slippery in the gym shower. I bought these as gym/pool flip-flops and was quite disappointed. I actually wish I had tossed them and bought a cheapo pair at the drugstore. They look okay but they are highly impractical and if the straps get twisted, which is their natural state, then they're even a little painful, you have to remember to adjust the straps after you put them on. Not recommended at all. I have a pair of O'Neills that cost a little more and totally rock. And I have a pair of Olukai that are super great but cost a lot more. If you're interested in this kind of flip-flop, I recommend getting something cheaper and lighter either here or at the drugstore, because these are not nearly as good as they look.

I have worn Havaianas for years and they are THE BEST flops out there. Despite being very simple with not much going on in a flop design in terms of components, what is done they do very well with great quality materials and they last for years. My last white pair had a strap break because I wore them A LOT and sometimes in situations where i shouldn't and stressed them often. Still, they were champs that lasted me over 3 years but was finally time for a new pair since I broke them. I got the exact same size & color, men's 9/10 in white, as before that were originally purchased from Zappos as well. Unfortunately, I got a bad pair that was not made properly. At first glance when taking them out of the packaging, the straps appeared to be longer than they normally should be but I was not sure if it was just my perception until I tried them on. The immediate issue when trying them on was that my toes were slightly hanging over the front edge somewhat and the sides of my foot would slightly hang over the sides of the soles ...that's definitely not right. At first I thought and what it looked like was that the hole of the between-the-toes thong portion was punched too close to the front of the flop sole. But taking everything into consideration, it appears that the sole that was cut for men's 9/10 was not cut right to size(slightly off and smaller) as well as the thong straps are definitely longer than normal. You can even tell looking at the Zappos product image that these thong straps are not the right length(including going to the Havaianas website as well). I purchased another pair thinking I just got the one irregular bad pair but the second pair is the same set of issues. So what appears to have happened is that Zappos got a bad run of flops from Havaianas from last year's manufacturing stock. Both pairs had a manufacturing date of 08/2020 on them. I would say that these should fall under "irregular" because the issues are noticeable when worn but the issues are not immediately apparent visually(other than the straps appearing longer than normal) and somehow were passed by QA. I am of course sending them back for a refund and I am purchasing them directly from the Havaianas website with hopes for a couple pairs that are properly made. Still, it's a quality brand of flops and other footwear but they have to be more diligent on catching a bad run of flops.

This are NOT 11-12 more like 9-10. I’m an 11.5 and my feet dwarfed these

so uncomfortable... I wouldn’t even use these at the beach... simply awful
