Just slightly larger/wider than my usual size 7 in most shoes/boots so I exchanged for 6.5. This size was snug but I'm expecting a bit of a stretch. A dark and rich red. Nice height heel. Zappos made the exchange exceptionally simple. I recommend.

I loved the color of these boots and the stitching is beautiful. The leather is soft and feels already broken in with good support in the foot. The only reason I am returning them is that the shaft is too big around my calf and it doesn't look good. The outside circumference is 14", my calf is 11". If they had been taller it would have been perfect. Sorry to see them go!

My first purchase was little disappointing being that the boots I received came defective with discoloration and scratches. Moreover, my concerns were addressed with customer service and they were apologetic and courteous! They promptly sent me a brand new pair and they were perfect! The stitching and colors make the boots stand out. They are comfortable and light weight! I am extremely content with them.

I bought these for my daughter and she loves them. She is 18 and has been saying she wanted red cowboy boots. She hasn't worn them yet, so we can't really comment on the comfort. They do feel a bit stiff, but this usually works out with time. The red color is noticeable, yet not too flashy and the stitching adds a nice touch. I ordered both the 7 and the 6.5 and she is keeping the 6.5. These will look so cute with skirts and dresses. Definitely recommend these.

Upon reading the reviews, I thought for sure I needed to order a size smaller. I normally wear a 7.5 in Laredo boots, so I ordered a 7.5 and 7. The 7.5 was the correct size. Will be returning the 7. I got these in the burnished red and I LOVE the color. Just the right amount of red, not overwhelming or bright. If you want bright red boots, these aren't the ones for you. Toe area is a bit tight but I'm hoping they will stretch. Did not mean to give 5 stars for comfort. But once you hit the stars by mistake you can't change them!

I bought the Laredo Madison Boots for my daughter as a Christmas present. Because of the snip toe, I ordered them a half size larger than normal. My daughter loved them! Zappos delivered them on time as promised and I will purchase additional boots from them in the near future.

Always wanted a pair of red cowboy boots, so I am very happy with my Laredo Madison boots! Sort of a "grown-up" version of the boots some of us worn as a kid. It has a nice, toned-down burnished red that isn't too in your face, but still spunky. I get many compliments from women on these boots. Take note that it's a bit narrow in the toe (as you would expect), but I've worn them enough that they are no longer a problem. One thing to point out is that I am flat footed and this boot has a real defined arch that you may find uncomfortable at first. I purchased gel insert foot pads made for your instep and just positioned them next to the high arch and it felt fine. I've had them for about a month or so, and I've since removed the pads as they've broken in. I would purchase these in other colors!

Cute boots. I'm pleased with the sizing (was debating between an 8 and 8-1/2, but other reviews said they ran a bit big, so ordered the 8). Perfect fit.

Although the shoes fit true to size, it was tight over the top of the foot. Not much give in the leather when walking. I returned them.

I love these boots. I am someone who never wears high heels so I have had to adjust to this somewhat higher boot heel, but they sure do look good and are very comfortable. Many compliments.

Returned the boots because the color wasn't as vibrant as pictured. The fit was exactly like the other reviews stated as well as the Zappos video on proper western boot fit. I'm disappointed but really wanted more pop on the color.

this boot is absolutely beautiful! i have wide feet (post bunion surgery), so comfort is a must. I ordered the W, and they're still a bit tight. i'm keeping them because they are so stunning, hoping that with time and wear they will soften up a bit and conform to my foot.

These boots are sassy! Love the color - a deep red, not burgundy, which I wanted. Wearing them for the first time today and they're really comfortable. Glad I bought them for my husband to give me for Christmas!

Boots were ordered C width but are very much B width. Beautiful leather and finish. Did not notice that these had a roper heel instead of walking heeel.

Cute boots, but uncomfortable. They feel too roomie, so my foot doesn't feel supported unless I'm wearing thick socks. The arches feel too high, and cheaply made. After an hour my feet are killing me.

Unfortunately, I have to return these boots. I really like the look of them. The color is a deep, rich brick red with gold stitching, and they seem to be of great quality. I ordered my typical size 8 in C width to accommodate bunions, and the boot was easy to slip on and off. Of course, they would need some time to stretch out, as with all leather shoes. I'm a little taller than 5'2, and they are a great height for petite ladies. The reason I'm returning them is because the circumference around the shaft was way too wide for me even tucked in to jeans.

Beautiful boots given as a gift, but did not fit quite right. Toes pushed against the narrow point of boot and hurt toes. I don't think this would be an issue if we got the right fit.

Beautiful boot. However, I don't like them because my legs are skinny and the boot looks too big on me. I did wear them 3 times trying to get use to them. I know I can't return them because they've been worn. Just want to let you know that these boots are not for skinny legged ladies.

These boots are beautiful but they are very tight across the top of the foot. I wore them around the house to see if they would loosen up but they didn't. Since only the shaft is leather, I didn't see that changing. I wish they had worked, but they're going back.

This is one bizarrely made boot. In order for it to be comfortable, you'd have to have an arch that spans the entire width of your foot!

Nice looking boots but far too narrow, if you have a high arch. Also no toe room and slipped in the heel.

Very narrow - unable to get my foot into it. It's supposed to be a "wide." Not so.
