These were well made and beautiful like a great pair of cowboy boots...but I ultimately opted for another Olukai style since the top strap dug into my foot (which according to a podiatrist over-flexes when I walk). I bet it would have broken in, but, eh, no patience and I liked the feel of another style better (although not the look...these are lovely!) I'm a female...female Olukai shoes are too narrow for me, the men's 8 fits my size 9+ foot perfectly though.

Some of the other reviews have pegged this sandal exactly right -- great looking, pricey, initially tough on the toes for non-sandal wearers, but ultimately one of the best looking most comfortable pieces of footwear I have ever owned.

I am a girl, and I know these say men's, but I fell in love with these! I used to have some really nice RocketDog leather flip flops, but they kept breaking and eventually they quit making them all together. I searched and searched til I found these! The PRICE immediately turned me off and everyone thought I was nuts, but after reading the reviews, I decided to give these a shot. Boy am I so glad I did! I have only had them for about 3 months, and I plan on wearing them about 9 months out of the year...so we will see if they hold up. The arch support is great, which you can't really find in a flop. At first the thong part wore on my toes a bit, but after a few days, they were broken in. :) I hope these last forever!

For the price I expected them to feel "perfect" the first time I put them on. I'm not a flip-flop guy but I fell in love with OluKai's shoes so I figured, these flip-flops I might be able to where. The first day I took them out, the straps were more rigid then I thought the "should" be. The soles, WONDERFUL. I walked in them for literally over two miles, not the plan, I thought I'd be sitting in a conference all day. I've kept wearing them (for the price, I wasn't ready to just toss 'em) and the straps have stretched and now I'd say, WOW, super comfortable. Great quality, I like the look and now I wear around the house like slippers because they're so comfortable. I give them a 4 star comfort because, for the price, it would be nice if they were this comfortable out of the box. But, to rate them on comfort now, I'd give 'em a 5 as well.

Nice sandals. I wear a size 15 in Nike and the size 15 on these barelyy fit. Warning: Order 1 size bigger and you will be good.

These are my first pair of flip flops. I usually wear Chacos or Birkenstocks. The toe post bothered me for about the first week and made my toes sore to the point I wasn't sure if they were for me. Luckily I toughed it out and got used to them. These are now the most comfortable shoes I own. I've had them for about 6 months and can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear them again. I originally ordered size 11, but had to return them for a 12. (Normal sizes I wear: Converse All Stars,10. TNF, 11. Patagonia 12. NIke 11.)

The most awesome looking pair of flips I've seen. I order 1 size up and they fit perfectly. I wanted the perfect flips this year and Zappos service made the experience beautiful.

Extremely comfortable. Definitely run small. I usually wear a 10.5, and an 11 is just about right, if not a little snug on the length. Great workmanship, best looking flip flops around. Having a flip flop with an arch is great.

I have never worn flip flops until a few weeks ago. After hearing about OlaKai, I purchased several pair of their Mea Ola styles. The only problem I had was deciding on the color, hence, I purchased several pair to go with different colors in my wardrobe. They feel true to size and are very comfortable. I like the feel of the leather under my feet. I also purchased one pair of the Po'Okela my OluKai. Like the Mea Ola, the Po'Okela are both stylish and very comfortable. However, I found the Po'Okela to be an over priced alternative to the Mea Ola. My advice, save your money, buy the Mea'Ola.

Worth the extra cost. Very comfortable because of the arch support. Very high quality. Stiff between the toes for the first couple hours then they soften right up. Would definitely buy them again.

I love them. I just purchased another pair in a different style. This is my third pair that I have owned since I first found them on a vacation in Maui.

Excellent fit. This is my second pair of OluKai sandals. They have a good fit, solid feel, and are very durable. My go to shoe on the beach, pool side, or sitting outside with friends and family during the warm months of the year.

Love them. They are my 4th pair of Olukai and they just keep getting better. Takes about 3 days to break them in, and during that time, your toes and top of your foot are going to hurt a lot! I used saddle soap conditioner on them as soon as I got them to soften up the thong - that seemed to help. Very comfortable, and stylish I had to order a size bigger than I normally wear, so these seem to run smaller than other OluKai.

I bought these for my husband for Father's day and he loves them. He said that at first it is a little stiff; however, it forms to his feet and is more comfortable than any other sandal he has ever owned. Great product!

Wow! Most comfortable flip flop ever. I've always bought Tommy Bahama and while great they don't compare to the comfort and support of these. I'll never be going back. Important! When I first tried these on they were very tight and at times even painful. I emailed Olukai customer service and expressed my concerns. Within minutes I received a personal response explaining how the sandals were more like shoes and would break in over time. Boy, did they. I just came back from 10 days in Europe and wore these every day walking several miles and my back and feet never felt better. Great looking, great fitting and as comfortable as any shoe I've ever owned.

Great flip-flop! Did I ever think that I would pay this much for a pair of flip-flops? No! But I sure am glad that I did. These took about ten days to break-in but boy was it worth it. They are very comfortable now. They have great arch support and look great. It is like having the sole of a great shoe below a sandal.

They feel so good day after day. I recommend this color combo (charcoal/dark java) since they go with anything. Holds up well in the humid Houston weather and don't really show wear. I've been through a lot of sandals and these are worth the cost!

This shoe as well as any OluKai shoe I've ever purchased has been a winner! Great looking, but more important great arch and sole for an incredibly comfortable sandal. Recommend for sure!

Good quality. A little stiff in the beginning but nice now. It has more arch support than I am use too and I am almost used to that now.

My new OluKai Mea Ola sandal are exactly as advertised. These sandals are well made and comfortable. I think the sizes are true and you should order at least the same size as your shoe or the next larger size if you wear a half size. The straps that go over your foot are snug and if you do not get a large enough size your sandals will not fit. The only negative that I can comment about is that the sandals are made in China and not Hawaii as they may sound like they are. Zappos did a really nice job with their service and I would buy from them again.

Great looking and comfortable shoe. Normally wear a size 11...needed to exchange for a 12. Have not owned for long but seem to be high quality.

Great looking sandal that runs a full size smaller than you are expecting. I ordered a size 9 and had to return for a size 10. Zappos customer service was great with helping me with the return. I had a replacement pair the very next day. Thank you Zappos.
