I've had the Mea Ola for a few weeks now and I want to love them. After a few days of break in, the footbed feels great. Personally, I have 2 issues. #1) The toe post seems to be placed a bit to the rear for my foot causing my foot to be at the back of the sandal. I have tried a size larger and it moves the arch to the wrong spot on my foot. #2) the finish on the footbed is already starting to wear off. Overall, I like them, but Olukai needs to consider its Chinese manufacturer and the problems that result.

Sometimes less is more in flip-flops. These are too bulky, too chunky. I am very disappointed with their feel. The base is slippery against your feet, making them completely uncomfortable. I hope they soften with wear but as new as they are, they feel varnished. For the price, they are an absolute rip.

Incredible workmanship and great feel on your feet. By far the best sandals of this type I have ever owned.

I ordered the Reef Macaronis and the OluKai Mea Ola at the same time. Both are about the same price, but the quality/comfort of the Mea Ola's is much greater. I am a size 10 on all of my other sandals, so I got a 10. It barely fits. They are also a little heavier than any of my Sanuks.

This is my second pair of OluKai. The first pair lasted four years wearing them almost every day all day. I used to go through one sometimes two pair of Teva or Rainbows in a year. The OluKai I have now have been by far best I've ever owned. They are worth every cent and then some!

Beautiful shoe made with very high quality material. Comfortable and extremely stylish, one of only 3 pair of sandals the wife lets me wear as dress shoes. Looks amazing with shorts and with a nice linen suit. Highly recommended even with the high price. Well worth the money.

Great looking sandal. Very comfortable too. Leather squeaks a tad when walking, but otherwise I love this sandal!

I was first introduced to OluKai sandals from a friend of mine. Although the sandals are rather expensive, there isn't any part of a OluKai sandal that isn't worth it. These sandals boast an edgy, stylish appearance and for people like myself that need great arch support (which is tough to find in a sandal) these sandals are worth the cost. I will not wear anything else.

I am a fan of Olukai flip flops. These leather flip flops are my third pair. My foot measures 12.5. For standard type Olukai flips I wear a 13. I initially bought these in a 13 but had to return them for a 14. These sandals take a few days to break in (don’t panic, the toe strap gets better).

I recently purchased a pair of these sandals in my normal size 10, I read the reviews before ordering and went with the percentage of customers finding that they ran true to size. When they arrived I tried them on and realized I needed an 11. So when ordering - order one size up. I called customer service, they sent me a size 11 overnight with no additional charge to my card and asked only that I return the size 10 within 14 days. Best customer service I have ever experienced!

A little stiff at first, but once you wear them for about a week you will never want to take them off! My daughter even fell in the swimming pool and my husband jumped in with these sandals on to get her. She was fine and the sandals came out still looking like the day we got them. Well worth the investment. He will buy another pair when these wear out but with the way they are made that may take at least five years.

Very comfortable flip flop. Firm arch for all day comfort. True to size. Quality leather and stitching. Worth the extra money.

Excellent sandal, however, order a size larger. I'm an 11 and when 1st shipment arrived quickly realized I needed a 12. Zappos had my new pair to me the next day. Customer Service can't be beat plus I have a great pair of sandals I love. Super comfortable and quickly broken in.

Don't let the price scare you, these shoes are great. Extremely comfortable, no need to be broken in. Fits true to size.

These are the best flip flips ever! You cannot go wrong with the leather styles by OluKai (cannot speak for non-leather as I don't own any), but these are the best.

Living in FL you need a good pair of sandals, maybe two. These are some higher quality sandals, although still made in China, they come with a year warranty. They fit a size smaller then you might fit in shoes, so size up, even still they are a bit tight, but break in quickly. Don't get them wet, water and leather sandals don't mix.

Awesome shoes, very well-made! Don't let the price scare you...you are definitely getting a quality product that will last!

I bought these for my boyfriend to replace some handmade Tucson leather flops he'd had for like 14 years. The bar was definitely high, so I wasn't sure. He loves them!

Excellent sandals! This is my third pair of OluKai sandals. I think this is the best constructed and most supportive sandal on the market. I recommend them to people any chance I get.

I wear flip flops a lot, and I usually wear Teva's, but I go through them so quickly, and I wanted something a bit more "professional" or something. Anyway, I bought the Mea Ola's because I loved the laser engraved octopus. The size seems true. I wear a 10.5 and got the 10, works well. They do leave a bit of residue on your feet, which helps make a squeaking sound when you walk. That's my only complaint. They took a minute to get used to, they are heavier than my Teva's. Built really nice, with attention to detail. Overall, I am glad that I went above and beyond my normal purchase price for flip flops. I feel like these will last and are of good quality. Also, made in Hawaii!

I love these all leather sandals. True, they are expensive, but they are so extremely comfortable and fit so well on my feet. I found them in a store in Naples tried them on and had to have them. Durable, well made, and very nice looking too!

This is my 3rd pair of OluKai sandals. Fit is true to size; footbed extremely comfortable with great support and surface is like leathery butter. Workmansip is excellent and for a standard thong type sandal, with single attached strap, I don\'t think you could find a better shoe.

These sandals are expensive but very comfortable and very good looking. Takes about 1 week to get broken in. Also they run big so if you are a 10.5 order the 10 and you will be fine.
