Comfort and durable shoes I use for golf. The traction bottom allows me to wear these sandals on the golf course. The foot pad is contoured and allows stability. The hot summers in Dallas makes these sandals a must!

Cute sandal - I really like the brown gingham ribbon. But, it did not feel immediately comfortable because the ribbon was a little stiff. It does get soft after a while and the arch support is good. Overall, I like it but probably would have liked something else more.

These are comfortable, nice looking sandals. However, I found them to be unexpectedly slippery when worn in wet conditions, whether on wet grass or even on wet pavement. I can't say that the sole traction is good, or safe, for anything but dry conditions. Then, they are great.

Just what I needed - I normally wear an 8 1/2 and the 8 1/2 fit perfectly. I got these for walking in Savannah, GA. Did LOTS of walking in quite warm weather and my feet were fine. Not the cutest little sandal, but very good for what I needed.

Very comfortable sandal - This shoe is really comfortable and feels almost like wearing a tennis shoe. Very good support. The straps are a still a little stiff but I think they'll soften up with wear, and in the meantime they can be worn loose to avoid blisters. The shoe is a little wider than my foot, especially in the toe area, so they're not quite as attractive as I'd like. Still, I like them overall and think I'll enjoy wearing them on my vacation!

Not quite right - Teva is my choice for athletic sandals, but I had to return the Pretty Rugged Nylon because the strap that fits across the toes felt uncomfortable. The foam lining beneath the toe straps were too narrow to accommodate a bunion, so I returned this model and bought the Terra Fi 2 instead.

Teva - Always love the fact that these are fully adjustable. I wore them on a trip to some rapids and subjected them to a pretty rugged trail and a lot of water. My only complaint is that in the water they got loose -- my feet slipped forward in them quite a bit -- so strap 'em pretty tight. I got lots of compliments on the color (Citronelle, I think --the green and brown pattern).

Comfortable sandal - Very comfortable for short distance walking and everyday activities. The only thing I don't care for is the designs on the straps- to me they're too busy, even though I got the one I thought was the least busy (I didn't need black). It's like you have to ignore what's on your feet, 'cuz they're never going to match your clothes! Overall good fit for someone with longish toes and a high instep, which has trouble finding sandals that fit.

Good sandal - I wore these sandals on a recent trip to Walt Disney World and they were fairly comfortable. They are not fashion sandals, but they are practical.

Not as supportive - This is a nice looking sandal, but I was expecting it to be not quite such a thin sole. I need lots of support and these are not too supportive but I can't say it has no arch support.

Teva women’s sandal - My only comment is that the sizes run a little small.

Not Exactly What I wanted but OK - Teva redesigned the TerraFis and they no longer fit. The W Pretty Rugged was as close as I could come to the old TerraFis, but it's not the same. Good support but only a moderate arch, and they are a little narrow. I tried on ten different shoes to get to this one. I would not hesitate to buy it if I hadn't had the TerraFis first.

Teva-licious - This sandal fit beautifully right out of the box and needed no breaking in. Teva's are not terribly sexy, but the lightweight comfort and cute colors more than make up for the slightly clunky appearance.

Getting Cuter but still.... I have put off getting a pair of Tevas since they aren't very attractive on the feet- plus they are pricey. When I saw the Pretty Rugged 2 in lilac- I decided to give them a try. When I received them I still wasn't convinced that they were worth the price. But once I put them on I knew that they were a keeper. Absolutely the most comfortable sandals ever. The colors are getting better but the style is not as trendy as I would like. However- for the comfort- it can't get any better. P.S.- Customer Service at Zappos can not be beat.

Next-Generation Tevas - I have a pair of Tevas that I've worn just about daily for the past 11 years. They are so comfortable that I just can't bear to part with them, but the sole finally started to separate, so I went looking for a new pair. The green Pretty Rugged is a good replacement -- nice color and stylish. The sandal weighs much less than my old ones, but the foot bed is firmer and not as comfortable on the bottom of my feet as the older rubber soles. Can't go wrong with Tevas!

Comfortable shoes! These shoes give good support and traction, yet keep my feet cool in hot Florida. Equally practical to wear when I wash the car (they dry quickly) or when I walk my dogs.

Nice sandal with one problem - These sandals are very comfortable, but after only about a week, the strap started coming apart at the place where you pull it off - in other words, splitting. Now I try to be really careful when pulling not to split it more, but this seems to be a defect in the design, which is too bad because it is a nice sport sandal otherwise.

Lightweight - My old pair was wider on toe part of sandal. This one is kind of positioned towards the big toe like I'm supposed to be pigeon toed to wear them and I'm not! They are lightweight and sharp looking, just have to get used to them. The material is rough at first.

Caution--Slippery when wet or even damp - Tevas are my shoe of choice, however this pair does not live up to the Teva name. The sole is made up of bumps that do not provide good traction at all when a smooth surface is even slightly damp. I almost wiped out a multitude of times wearing these shoes! Also, the velcro is starting to pull away from the top of the strap after less than 2 weeks of wear. Very disappointing. But I did like the fact that Teva had come out with the brown version of their famous shoes!

I prefer the terra-fi 2 tevas instead!!

Teva Pretty Rugged Nylon - These are not quite as comfortable as the pair I have owned for a number of years. I got blisters on my toes the first time I wore them. But now they're softening up.

Nice but chafed - Loved the sandal--great footbed with excellent heel cushioning. Unfortunately, like several other reviewers, it chafed pretty badly at the little toe. Tried adjusting the straps (another nice feature--good ability to get an individual fit) but no go. I think I'll have to go back to my first love--Clark's SUNBEAT.

Spend the extra money - This was the 2nd of 3 Tevas I purchased. The sole didn't feel supportive enough and thin. The sandal didn't accommodate my width at all. I finally settled on the Terra-Fi based on a friend's recommendation.

Sporty, but not fashionable enough - I ordered these as an attempt at comfortable shoes that I could live in all summer as I walked all over the city. Unfortunately they didn't make the cut. Although they are very comfortable (perhaps a tad narrow), they look too much like a Teva to function as fashionable footwear. If comfort is your primary priority give it a shot, but you're not going to trick anyone into thinking you’re not wearing Tevas.

I bought my first pair of Pretty Ruggeds 10 years ago and was thrilled by every aspect - fit, comfort, support, traction, durability, and looks, especially how they looked, almost dainty on my long, narrow, size 11 feet. They finally wore out and I bought a new pair, finding that the design has changed in many ways, none of them better. The strapping system is different, the insole is different, the outsole is different, the heel height is different, the last is different. These are cut wider and shorter, so a size 11 is now too short and too wide. They added a size 12 which is as long as the old size size 11, but about an inch wider! Even with the straps cinched so tight that they dig into my flesh, my feet still slip side to side. Painful! Especially since the padding was taken off the bottoms of the straps as part of the redesign. And there is no arch support. The new outsole, what were they thinking? I can't imagine any activity for which this is suitable, certain nothing around water. I'd give the old Pretty Rugged 5 plus stars, but this new one gets just 2.

Disappointed - OK - here's the problem: I love Teva sandals too, and have two pairs already. The fact that these came in half sizes looked like a big improvement, since I always have to order the next size up. However - I ordered the half size that I normally wear in other types of shoes, but the foot bed of these Teva’s did not feel true to size. The fabric that the straps are made of is very stiff and scratchy. The "padding" on the inside of the straps is much smaller than on the older styles, totally inadequate, in my opinion. Another BIG disappointment is the sole of this style. While I only wore the shoes part of a day around the house, I could tell by looking that the soles would NOT be safe in wet areas. And - I note that other purchasers have already found this to be true. I wish I could have used this pair of shoes, especially since they were on sale at a great price, but I am returning them. I could not have worn them comfortably even if they were free!
