Verified PurchaseReview for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I'm a size 10, 38-32-40, and I ordered a medium. They were the right size, but my but kept crawling out the leg holes. Not comfortable.

Totally basic undies. Super functional, but not flatering. Saggy bottom with excess fabric, fits bigger than the others two styles I also purchased.

These are great but I have found that the lace top version is superior when wearing clothes wear a smooth appearance is a priority

I got these in the nude color and they are full-coverage underpants. The fabric is great but the elastic waistband is pretty tight and while it wasn't terribly uncomfortable, it gave me a bit of muffin top which is not very cute. I've only worn them a few times but I can tell the elastic in the waistband is starting to get stretched out (it's already doing that ripple-y thing by the seam). The rest fits fine, and I got the same size (S) I wear in the lacy underwear. I'd pass on these and give the lacy bikini or low rise bikini a try, even though they're a bit more expensive. These tend to sit unworn in my drawer more than others.

Ex Officio is good at fabric, but not elastic. I've worn medium and large in this product. It seems like the same size elastic is used on all sizes of this panty. In other words, if you need a larger size, there's more fabric to cover your butt, but the elastic around the leg holes is going to be very tight around your legs. So instead of fitting better or being more comfortable, they're just baggy. The elastic isn't covered, either, so it's particularly unpleasant. I also think the fabric is too thin. Sure it's quick drying, but if you want any wicking action there has to be enough material to provide a wick. Whatever you do, don't put them in the dryer. Machine drying seems to melt the fibers over time, and you get a fabric that is less flexible/soft/stretchy. Lastly, why on earth is there a sewn-in tag? What is this, 1950? It took me half an hour with a seam ripper to get all those miserable tags out of the six pair I bought.

I ordered these online thinking I had the size figured out. I had previously tried on an XL in the store and found them a bit tight. The 2XL I ordered was quite a bit too big. I have used these mainly for biking and working out. They are very comfortable, and they dry quickly, but my main complaint was the size.

Most every feature was good about the 3 pair of underwear I purchased, except that they shrunk in the laundering, though directions were followed and size was correct. I had initially tried a pair on, over top of cotton underwear and the sizing seemed just right with some extra. I was disappointed and considering returning them, especially considering the comfort level isn't what was expected after shrinkage.

Well-made and quick-drying as promised. But I don't think they are going to last long. Already after one 2 week trip and ~4 hand-washings, there are multiple snags. I wish there was a way to make the fabric sturdier while keeping the comfort & quick-drying properties.

I loved the original version of the give n go bikini brief , model 2241-2194. The origina had material that didn't stretch out, and the lace was wider and didn't fold under. Huge difference for me. I won't buy more of the new for the reasons stated. Hope Ex Officio is reading this and bring back the original version, I would buy many more of those.

I'm not a fan of the cut of this bikini brief. I do not like the way the undies ride up into the middle of my buttcheeks like some kind of peekaboo cheekie undie. I feel like I'm constantly on the edge of a wedgie. I'm 135lbs, size 6 with an average size booty, so its not like it's me. Can we not have full coverage on a performance undie!? Why does everything have to be "sexy"? I just want a undie that will cover my butt and keep my semi dry. These undies came highly recommended by hikers and backpackers, but I'm pretty disappointed. Will not be buying this style again, and will look at other brands.

I wish I had noticed the lace leg bands before I purchased and I wouldn't have. I only noticed the lace at the top band. Probably the fact that they ride up is why they are so cheap. I bought 3 pair and could send 2 back but for $7.50 to mail, I am not sure it is worth it. I would get about a $10.00 credit. Very disappointing.

I bought a medium but it fits like a large. I ended up giving away a second pair.

The sizing was way off - this large that I purchased was much smaller than the large purchased several years ago, all of the dimensions were smaller (coverage across the back, width of crotch panel) and the fabric was thinner.

I have bought these underwear numerous times in the past and appreciate the quick-dry, moisture-wicking, and excellent fit. In my latest purchase, the size of the tag in the back is about 3-4 times the length it previously was. This is annoying, and I find it is uncomfortable and often hanging out of my waistband. Bad design! I suggest removing the tag entirely from the product. In the meantime, I'm looking for a new brand.

The idea of carrying one or two pair of underwear on a trip is a good one: They don't take up precious space in your luggage when they're clean and you don't have a bulging plastic bag full of dirty underwear to carry home. I bought two pair of these at ExOfficio's Belltown store and took them on a trip to the Caribbean. The weather was especially humid and the underwear took a really long time to dry. In fact, I don't think they dried any faster than the gynecologically friendly cotton underwear that I wear day in, day out, and which are actually more comfortable and more affordable.

I am really bummed to have to write a negative review because I had such high hopes for these undies based on everything I've read. I initially ordered a medium (which is what I wear in ever other brand) and they were too small. I returned for a large, and they initially seemed ok, so I ordered another pair. I'm not sure what happened, or if I just didn't pay enough attention when I first got them, but the elastic waistband is TIGHT. The rest of the fit is fine, the leg openings are good, but they are so uncomfortable that I had to actually cut the waistband. In addition, every pair I have is snagging, but only in one or two spots. It might be one of my pairs of pants that is causing this, but still, for as expensive as these are I expect the material to hold up better. Incidentally, I have a pair of the lace top briefs in medium and I love them. They fit much better for some reason, despite being a size smaller. On a positive note, they do help wick moisture away when it's hot, and they dry quickly, which is perfect for travelling.

Light & quick drying. If the fit works for you they would be great for travel. Didn't work for me. I prefer my cheeks not hang out. I'm not overweight and a larger size would be no help - it's just the cut of the product. I'm very athletic and just prefer my cheeks be covered. For those who don't care I would recommend this product.

Where did the Give-n-go string bikini go? The husband and I loved them. Now it is just granny panties. Bring the sexy outdoor AWESOME undies back, for mine and his sake!!

In comparison to the 2.0 and the brief, these ran extremely small and all of my orders were the same size. Obviously the style is different but to be an inch or more off in the waist band is completely unacceptable.

I had a pair of Hipster from here and loved them but these are very disappointing, they have small holes in them after only 3 uses! and I followed instructions on how to care for them. I reached out for a refund and dis not receive response.

I ordered these to help with sweating and the smell that comes from it. I was hoping the silver would help, but only wore for a couple hours and light workout and they smelled pretty bad. It also took two washes to get the smell out. I never have to do that with any other panties. Not worth the high price, and my search for something compatible continues.
On a plus side: The fit was nice and they were comfortable.

While the underwear fit well and do indeed dry quickly, none of that matters because the quality is so low. The waistband on these unraveled after wearing and gently hand washing them a single time. I have a few lace pairs as well that fell apart, but I gave these a try because thought it was just the lace. There are all kinds of quick-dry underwear out there, so I'd recommend trying those instead of wasting money and resources on these.
