An amazing juicer for the price. Even my partner who is a juicer snob is impressed with it. I am using it 2 times per day, hand-washing it right after. Juice is perfect, there are zero issues with the machine. Some tips: Make sure you use the wire brush on the filter so it is well-cleaned. Don't put juicer parts in the dishwasher...it isn't necessary. Also, remember to tip the machine towards you at the end (once it's switched off) to get the last few drops of yummy juice. To the person who seems to not be getting a lot of juice, there must be something wrong with it. I am amazed at how much juice this thing makes eg. one large carrot, one lg. apple and a chunk of cabbage makes about 1 cup of juice...more than enough first thing in the morning. Happy juicing!

This is a wonderful juicer. So easy to clean. Sometimes the pulp is damp after so I just run it through again.

I love it. All I can say is it is very convenient, does not take much time to clean at all, and space saving for sure. Breville is a good brand.

Good juicer, bought it as a gift for my daughter and she loves it! I love Zappos, can't say enough about them. More companies should copy their customer service model!

This Juicer is great, for a person who grew up with juicing I've seen all kinds of juicers from a few well up a hefty price, some that were around the same price as this one so I know that in comparison while this isn't a pro one it works just as well for every day use! Its practical and easy to clean only depending on what vegetable your are juicing the cavity that keeps the flesh fills up rather quickly or maybe I'm just juicing too many vegetables at once, its not too bad but it is something that I have to do if I'm juicing more than 32 oz.

Love it! This thing will grind up anything! Only downside is that it is a little hard to clean.

After about 1 year of use, the springs on the inside of the juicer broke away from the plastic slots which held them in place on the bottom of the unit. This is a weak point in the design of the unit. I did manage to salvage the unit by applying an apoxy adhesive to the metal brackets holding the springs in place, and re-installing the springs. This was a somewhat tricky job and I would not recommend it to anyone with a less than generous amount of patience. In summary I should say that the product performs very well and it was only because of this fact that I did not consign it to the garbage bin when the springs first failed.

After doing extensive research and reading a lot of reviews, I settled on the Breville Juice Fountain. It has a relatively small footprint and looks good. It is sturdy and powerful. The best thing is that it is extremely easy to clean, coming apart easily and going back together easily. The cons for me may be inherent in all juicers of this type, but there is a lot of waste. I find nearly whole slices of apple, leaves of kale and chunks of citrus in the waste pulp compartment after juicing. Considering how much kale, for example, I put through the machine, I get mere drops of juice, and it seems wrong to be dumping out so much produce that has been shredded up. Sometimes I'll run the pulp back through the machine to give it another go. The other downside is the amount of debris (bits of produce) that comes flying out of the chute when you add more to the machine. You add your fruits and veggies and use the plunger to get it down to the business end, then lift the plunger to add more and you get sprayed with bits of pulp. I have to wipe down my kitchen in the vicinity of the juicer after each use, and I have to pick bits of it out of my hair and off my clothes! I try to be careful, allow the machine to deposit the pulp into the pulp compartment before lifting the plunger, but stuff still comes out. If you lift the plunger out of the way enough to add more, you're likely to get hit. I love my juice and use this machine at least twice a day - the kids use it too - but I may want to invest in a pricier machine for more efficient juicing.

Probably not the best for if you plan to juice more than a few days a week but it gets the job done. Chute splatters a bit. Overall, I'm not disappointed. It's fairly easy to clean and does not take up too much counter space. Shipped quickly and without a scratch.

I have only read rave reviews about this product. It was a gift from a friend and my first juicer. My mom and I wanted to begin juicing together, neither of had a juicer. Since I was receiving mine the first week of May and Breville was highly recommended I ordered my mother a Breville BJE510XL for Mother's Day. I wish I had used mine first and had known Breville was not going to provide me with ANY customer service what so ever. I would have never provided them with any more business. Based on all of the positive reviews and feed back I am so suprised I am having the problems I am having from my juicer. I have taking many pictures hoping Breville will call me back or email me back so I can show someone my problems. When I juice I am getting large chunks of apple, pear, carrots, cucumber, kale, and spinach in my pulp collector. Celery does great! My mom received her juicer. As I said, I received the 200XL and she has the 510XL. Her pulp is very fine and dry. Mine is very wet and my carrots are literally just cut in half and that is it. It looks like my apples have been cut up to eat. Also my juicer was a gift from a friend from out of town. I do not want to call her and tell her I received a LEMON. I assume it is a lemon since everyone else seems to love thier Breville. This is a true disappointment. I have no where to return my Breville, it is not functioning properly. Breville will not return my call, answer the phone, or respond to emails. I called Monday and Tuesday afternoon. It rang the first time until it went busy...like it rang off the wall.

Do not be mislead by the positive reviews! I have been searching for a decent economically priced juicer for a long time now. I finally settled on the Breville compact due to all the positive reviews on this web site and others. Unfortunately, I did not pay close attention to the negative ones. Why did I give this machine one star? The reason is quite simple: it cannot be properly cleaned and is unsanitary. Regardless of how the appliance performs in other aspects, if it cannot be thoroughly cleaned due to its design, then it is useless. Unless, of course, you're a fan of food poisoning. The problem with these juicers is a design flaw in the basket/cutter assembly. The assembly is made up of three parts that are held together with three small screws. The screws secure the plastic base to the strainer bowl and the cutting disc. The juice seeps through the clearances between the plastic base and the cutting disc (because of poor mating tolerances). This requires the assembly to be disassembled in order for the juice debri to be cleaned out. Otherwise, there is no possible way to completely clean food from the assembly. It was not intended to be cleaned that way. I highly doubt this problem is rare and I would bet that if you inspect yours after juicing, you'll find the same problem. It is a manufacturer's defect. Yes, the juicing performance is good, but what does that matter if you can't make the juice in a sanitary way? If you look through reviews on other sites, (Amazon) you'll see that others have noticed this flaw.
