I bought size 10.5 narrow which is a bit bigger than my shoe size to allow for 2 pair of socks. As a first-time hiker, these were my first hiking boots and I was worried about comfort, fit and weight. 4 years and many, many miles later I can say they have been great but now they’re leaking so time to replace. Wet winter weather, lots of puddles and mud and I really dislike wet socks.

I have an older Lowa that is 10 yrs old. It looks like it will have another 2 years of life. I purchased this because the price was right and the Lowa brand is hard to find! Thanks, Zappos for carrying it!

This is my first pair of Lowa boots and I am totally pleased with them. I worried a little about the width because I have large flat feet and I had ankle surgery last year which has changed my left foot. I also had concerns about the insert that comes with the boot. All worries were put to rest once I put them on. They fit perfectly and have great support but you will have to put in your own inserts or orthotics. I put them to the test with a 4.5 mile hike and they performed beautifully and my feet felt great. I look forward to putting lots of miles on these boots, they are worth every cent.

They are a little stiff around the ankles but I’m sure they will only get better with use... they are light weight and nice looking. Only pair available in narrow width .. they were expensive so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Got the boots for my wife, who has high arches and a narrow heel. They are the best fitting, most well made and comfortable hiking boots she has ever had! And she is very picky.

Im an a 7 wide since injuring both feet and ankles (it was worth the adventure). I am always in pain with all of the hardware but do not have any interest in changing our families outdoor lifestyle. These are fitted in all of the right places for a flat foot like mine. So much that I forget the hardware is still there. It is unbelievable how light weight they are especially with our long haul treks! We trek around the world, Iceland is our go-to [unpredictable weather, rain, slush, wet, COLD, wind, ice, unstable footing] and these boots are everything; reliable, the eye hooks are well designed for changing your lace patterns or just a standard lace up, and the ankle is super supportive and comfortable. Currently we are in an all season climate and these do great. In summer they are breathable enough, and winter they keep the cool out so it is understandable how they are one of the five pairs of shoes I own.

What a difference. Lowa is the only boot I could find in narrow. Fit like a glove. Use my own orthotics so cant speak to arch support. I have had other very good boots but did not realize how much i was sliding around in them until I got a corn. The true test will be when i next inspect a 460' tall dam. I will update my review once I put these boots to some real testing.

10 1/2 medium felt good on first contact with my feet. My previous ones the same but 1/2 size smaller- maybe 5 or more years old and some major hiking trips done. Feet grow. I have narrowish shoes but prefer room in my boots and these are great with medium wool socks.

I am back to Lowa’s because they come in narrow widths. Tried other cheaper brands of hikers but I really need a narrow boot. So the expense is worth the fit. I still have replace the insole with one that has better arch support.

I love Lowa boots. They fit my feet perfectly. This is my third pair. You just cannot go wrong with Lowa.

The shoes fit perfectly. Wore them for my morning walk 2 miles. Very comfortable.

They felt good the first time I wore them, then felt even better when I removed the cardboard inserts. LOL - guess I was excited to try my new shoes. They are so comfortable that I even forgot to change shoes when I headed out of town but they still looked good with what I was wearing. I have never owned a pair of hiking shoes but I am sold on my Lowa Renegades. Thanks for making an excellent product.

Amazing! This boot feels like I slid my foot into such a nice comfy chair for it! Really comfortable right from the start! There is plenty of room in the toe box and not too much room where I'm tripping over my feet. The boots are light weight. Honestly, I'm so impressed with how light they are. How they feel so perfect on my feet. It's like these boots where designed around my feet. I do have narrower feet, but pretty average feet. Just really great boots! Well worth the price. I mean, you only get one pair of feet, so why not treat them with the best boot!

These are like WALKING ON AIR. Wonderful ankle and arch support. Easy to lace. Lightweight. Haven’t taken them hiking yet but they’ll be put to the test in a couple weeks! Love the tongue sewn with a “webbing” fabric to the shoe to prevent water (or anything else) from getting inside.

These boots make my feet so happy. They are wonderful boots. I loved them so much I looked for this brand for my husband, who wears Mephisto. He is so happy with his pair as well.

These are the best hiking boots I’ve tried! I bought them to replace a pair of Ecco hiking boots that lasted me 6 years. The eccos definitely had more arch support but I’m not sure I liked that. These Lowas have removable insoles so I could always add more if needed. The lacing system and ankle support is excellent and not uncomfortable at all! Also, they don’t make my size 10 feet look huge, they are actually very flattering! I definitely recommend these boots!

This is my second pair of Lowa hikers. Loved the first ones and still have them after 10 years. Wanted a second pair as am out every day during the Covid. Love the second pair as much as the first. Good support, comfortable from the first day.

The absolute perfect hiking boot! I'm so thrilled with this purchase after a long search for the perfect all-terrain boot. Surprisingly lightweight, great ankle support, and super comfy. Highly recommend this boot!

These replace some Lowas that failed after 15 years of periodic wear. The new ones are comfortable, true to width and size for me. I use orthotics so I don’t know about arch support.

This is my first time trying LOWA brand. It was recommended to me, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I needed a waterproof boot for winter hiking, and this boot was comfortable right out of the box. I usually wear a 9.5, but ordered a 10 because I planned to wear a thicker wool sock for warmth. Boot is totally waterproof and as I said before....super comfortable. Fit was perfect. Glad I ordered a 10.

These are comfy and sturdy for hiking. My husband wears his to cut firewood.....we love them

I think these boots are best ones I have found for stability and overall comfortable support. Plus they look good in that the low-key color (Stone) and simpler style are to my liking for both wearing on trails and in town. Maybe they could be a little more cushioned but then that might take away from the great support and stability. At last I think I've found the right hiking boot for me after a long quest. Thanks Zappos for carrying these boots in my size and width (11D) and for putting up with all my returns. My main complaint would be the high $$.

My size 7 foot is wide in front and narrow in the heel, and the regular 7 was too cramped in the toe box. Had I not preferred the Scarpa's fit and innovative sock-fit design (fit in standard width), I would have tried a 7 wide in Lowa or possibly 7 1/2 Wide. The Lowa was heavier and more conventional, but a good boot. I love how it comes in 3 widths so should fit anyone. I wish Zappos carried more colors of the Lowe, but I love how easy it is to exchange on this site.
