Consider going up a half size. I am reliably a 6 in all shoes, but in these, my toes bumped the end and I needed to go up a half size. These boots appear to be wonderfully narrow, which is always a hard thing to find, so I hope that the replacement boots will be a perfect fit.

I've had a pair of Regades for years. I wear them in the rain and snow, but the new pair I ordered weren't comfortable. I have a narrow foot and this is one of the few hiking boots than come in narrow. The foot fit fine but the rest of the boot was so stiff that it hurt to walk in them. I am a pronator, so that may be part of the issue, but as I said, my first pair, which is now ten years old fit and felt great.

Generally love LOWA boots. But this one was not as wide as I had expected.

This is my third pair of Lowa boots and the sizing has changed dramatically. Both of my previous pairs were size 10.5 and fit well. I thought that I'd try this one in an 11 for a little more toe room. Well, they are much smaller than my size 10.5 boots. They are short in the toe. I wear a 10.5 or 11 in regular shoes and often walk out of an 11. These felt more like 10s. Since this brand has changed its sizing and does not offer a boot larger than an 11 I will have to change brands. I am NOT happy because these boots fit my narrow heels and offered good support.

I ordered these had found that for some reason, a 8.5 D width was shorter than a 8.5 B width. It might be there is some variation in production. I did like that these did not appear oversized as some other brands/styles, however, before I go up a size will try other choices.

These seem like awesome hikers but unfortunately, the D width is not wide enough. I tried the next size to compensate for the lack of width, but unfortunately, the extra length was just too long and I would have had too much front to back movement - and they still pinched. I will need to return.

Nice boots, but I was disappointed in the fit of the narrow width I ordered, which isn't very narrow at all. My Salomon Comet 3D boots in medium width are narrower than these. Returning.

I loved this boot 'til the toe cracked and split, it has a unibody sole construction. It failed at 10 months.

I was disappointed with how the shoe felt; it didn't "fit like a glove"; did not move with my feet as I walked/hiked; perhaps the shoe is a bit loose and not supportive enough. I didn't return the shoes, because I'd worn them, after all. I don't wear them much. They don't feel very comfortable in hot weather, as they're less breathable than I expected they'd be.

The toe box area is much too tight for my preference. I need a roomy toe box otherwise the shoe puts to much side-pressure on my big toe, pushing the toes, pinching them up too much.

Lowa Renegade has a great fit, very light, and the Vibram soles provide exceptional traction. The boot simply falls apart like a styrafoam cooler. I have had two pair end with damage unrelated to normal wear and tear. The soles are separating from the boot in both pairs. Pair 1 showed modest sole separation in the front and some cracking just above the outer sole after 4 years. Pair 2 fell apart spectacularly after 7 years of very light wear just above the outer sole. The outer sole, made of durable Vibram rubber, is connected to a foam material which is exposed to the elements and is easy to tear (see styrafoam comparison). The foam begins to crumble and fall away while hiking (which is amusing) but should not occur.

Still too small! I'm typically a 7.5 with low-volume, but wide feet across the meta-tarsals. I've tried the 7s, now the 8s in these (one of the only boots that offer a wide size), but no luck.

Love the look but. Way to small, both in length and width. By the other reviews I thought I would not have had a problem. I would like to try bigger size but out of stock.

The laces on these boots come off and form a noose for you to trip. I tripped and BROKE MY ARM because the laces came off but were stilled tied at the top, therefore tripping me. I will NEVER get hiking boots with cleats at top again. Too dangerous. These boots were too big anyway, toe box is huge, my feet were swimming in them. Will be selling them on eBay and getting a different pair. Not impressed with these and paid a fortune.

I was excited to find a hiking boot that comes in Narrow! Having tried them on, I feel like the narrow is a scam. These actually felt larger than my existing Oboz. Going back. Don't fall for the scam!

These Lowa boots have had the same sole separation others here have experienced. These boots have very little wear on them, and have self-destructed. 90% of this failure happened on one 4 hour outing, and it was getting to the point that the sole was about to fall off. I would have had to pull the soles off in order to walk without tripping on them had I any farther to go. Lowa says this is not warrant-able, and is a normal occurrence with the material they use. I feel that if the boots have a “shelf life” where they fall apart without much use, they should come with a warning to that effect. I'm done with Lowa, and am buying quality USA made boots instead of Chinese made from now on. Sad, but Vasque and others have gone the same way.

DON'T BUY THESE BOOTS! They fall apart after about a year, just after warranty runs out. Stitching disintegrates where front of boot is stitched to the rest of the boot, both on inside and outside of boot. I've had two pairs, bought new, and same thing happened to both of them. Money down the drain. First time, I was advised to get expensive insoles; I did, but made no difference. I don't abuse my boots and am just a casual walker, maybe five miles a week. Seems like the thread simply dissolves after a while. Also, the sole became separated from the front of the boots. They are not waterproof nor even water resistant; they even get wet in dry, fluffy snow. Spend your money elsewhere, not on Lowa Renegades.

Please check your boots for signs of sole separation before taking them on a hike. Like other reviewers, I loved this pair of boots, comfortable right out of the box, no break in required, got me up and down Kilimanjaro, stayed dry through puddles, mud, pouring rain as long as you have waterproof pants on to keep water from dripping into the cuffs. Once the inside is wet though, they take forever to dry. Like another reviewer, after 5 years, without any sign of wearing, the soles began to separate from the shoes. One of them to the point that the whole toe was flapping. I was able to finish the hike by tying my ponytail holder rubber band on the toe tip to keep the flap in place and walking gingerly. The separation starts at the bend of the forefoot, if you look carefully and throw them out, before the whole thing or part of the thing, starts to peel off on your hike, dangerous!
