I have never had a pair of shoes that I could put on and wear forever. But these are the ones! These are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I now have 3 pair of Eccos and I will never wear anything else!

I've worn Ecco sandals before so I knew they would be comfortable; however, when they arrived the ridges on the top of the soles that have been added took a few weeks of wearing around the house to get used to. They are now my go to shoes for walking around NYC. They are extremely comfortable and the thick sole absorbs the hardness of concrete sidewalks and cobblestones. The velcro on the straps regulate the width. An overall really comfortable shoe.

This is an outstanding product, but I had to return it because of comfort issues relative to my very narrow feet. My absolute favorite pair of walking/hiking sandals is the Ecco Performance Yucatan. I was inspired to try the Ecco Performance Coba because I thought that with the extra strap it would provide even greater stability for hiking. Like the Yucatan, the Coba is exceptionally well made, with outstanding arch support & adjustable well padded straps throughout. However, the extra strap on the Coba did not work on my narrow foot no matter how I adjusted the straps. Walking in the Coba was noticeably less comfortable for me than walking in the Yucatan. I have now ordered another pair of the Yucatan sandals and regretfully returned the Coba sandals. I continue to think that the Ecco Performance series makes the best walking/hiking sandals ever, and the Coba would likely be a great style for anyone with a medium- to wide-width foot.

Immediately comfortable, but I do wish they we're little longer...I always wear a 9 shoe and these seem short.

I wish these shoes came in wide. Even with the toe strap extended, I could still use this part of the shoe wider.

I've tried the Breeze, Coba, Rainier and Yucatan and my only complaint is the straps are too long on all Ecco sandals. I have a very narrow foot and although the footbed is fine, it is literally impossible to snug the straps down far enough to make the shoe tight to my foot. If Ecco would just shorten their straps a bit they could capture the narrow/ skinny foot market as well! Please pass this on to the company! I can't give any of their shoes 5 stars because of this issue.

The Yucatan Ecco Performance is similar to the Coba except for the arch support. The Coba has a smooth arch support, but the Yucatan has bumps in the arch area of the insole. This was comfortable for me, but may not be for everyone. My problem with both styles was the edge on the insole where it meets the side of the shoe. This caused a painful impression on the side of my foot so that I could not wear them.

I have read so many appreciative Ecco reviews that I was ready to jump on board despite the slightly awkward style. I wore the shoes a few hours indoors and have a gigantic blister under the ball of my feet and across my toes from the friction. I also tried the Coba, but the waves were obtrusive. I cannot recommend them. The sole is a little too spongy and the shoes a bit wide even at its tightest.

As with the other models of Ecco sandals I've tried, the footbed is great but the straps are way too long with not enough Velcro far enough down to tighten them over my feet. Also, the ring at the toe where the straps returns through is right over my big toe, so when I can get them somewhat snugged down, that ring impinges on my big toe and is very uncomfortable. I really wanted to like these shoes but, alas, having to return them. If you don't have much meat on your feet, these are not the shoes for you. The footbed is quite interesting and although I've heard some people are having problems with it, I liked it.

They have ruined my favorite sandals! These now have a wavy, ridged footbed that is very uncomfortable. I am so disappointed, because the previous model was my go-to sandal, and now I will have to start all over. Maybe they are trying to imitate what Mephisto does but make it cheaper, and it totally does not work for me.
