Very cute shoes. First comfortable pair (walked for hours through a park and they felt great) that don't look ugly. I wear a size 7 1/2, and got a 38 (US Women's 7.5-8). They fit perfectly when I got them and now they have a little bit of room, but not so much that my foot slides, so I'd say they are fairly true to size. Shoe looks good with both skirts and jeans, so great for casual wear.

I was really worried when I ordered these sandals, but I have been pleasantly surprised. I wear a 38 in clogs, and the 38 in this sandal fit just fine. I have a very high instep though, and there is some extra space beyond the toes, but I absolutely hate having my heel hang over the back and had I bought a 37 that's where I would have been. I did not get any rub spots from all the fancy leather work, and have now worn them for a week without significant pain from my plantar fasciitis. The turquoise is bluer and more subdued than I expected, but I still get lots of compliments. I find the arch support more in the moderate than excellent range, but for a summer shoe this is great!

I love these! They are super comfortable and cute for summer, with jeans, shorts, or dresses. I usually wear Clarks for comfort, but I love these!

I love these Dansko sandals! It truly feels like I'm walking on air. I do hair for a living and I can work all day on these and my feet never hurt! They can be a little hot, but it doesn't even matter because they are so comfy! I've had tons of compliments on the sandal as well and nobody can believe they are Dansko!

I happen to be wearing these shoes today! I have problem feet. Aging. Aching arches. On the wide side. These sandals are great. Comfortable. Kind to my poor feet!

These sandals are great! I have foot problems and am not able to wear just any type of shoe. These have a comfortable suede footbed so that I do not even have to wear my orthotic. In addition, they do not slip off your feet like a lot of slides do. I am a teacher and am able to stand in them all day! The color is great and goes with just about anything. I also have them in the brown leather. In addition to being comfortable they are stylish as well. I would highly recommend this sandal. I normally wear a 9 (European size 40) but took a 39 in these.

I was hesitant to purchase these sandals, thinking that the soles may be stiff and that they are slip-ons, but to my absolute delight, they are extremely comfortable. I have wide feet (size 6.5) and the size 37 fits beautifully. They are also stylish!

Love these sandals. Bought them for a trip to Hawaii and wore them for most of the trip. They are cute with shorts, capris or a casual skirt and got lots of compliments. Most importantly, they are very comfortable. I have found Dansko's to be a good fit for me and this sandal did not disappoint. I did, however, have to go down a size from the Dansko clogs I have. Zappos was great to work with and will definitely return to them for future shoe purchases.

I am a huge Danskos fan because I work on a campus and have to walk a lot. I have worn the clogs for several years and wished for my stylish uppers that are now coming out! The Dansko Serena sandal is gorgeous, just my style, and the most comfortable Dansko yet. No breaking in! The leather is soft and the cut is slightly more generous than I remember in new pairs in the past (not much, just enough to make it perfect fit from the start). I am wearing these now on the first day, but can already tell that they are going to be favorites. Just ordered in another color! Be careful choosing between sangria and brandy... mine do not appear "waxy" or shiny like photo, but a matte finish, which is okay, but unexpected. My "sangria" appear almost rust-red colored with a plum-tint (think red/brown/plum color) to the color in bright light. Just be aware that color-wise, you might be surprised a little, but they’re still quite nice and I’m happy to keep them and order another pair.

This sandal is so very comfortable. I stand 8 to 9 hours a day and can wear these even into the evening after work. I have not worn the Dansko shoes before but will be trying out this brand more often now. I have gotten many compliments, even from the young people that I work with so they do not represent just a shoe for older people. I am very happy with my purchase.

Extremely comfortable shoe, gets lots of compliments. Only complaint is that the leather stretched out quite a bit, and now my feet slide too far forward in the shoe.

This is my second pair of Dansko Serena's; this pair seemed to stretch more quickly than the first, and are causing a blister on one part of my foot. Otherwise I love them. Comfortable to wear as long as you are not doing an excessive amount of walking.

I love these shoes! I purchased a black pair last year and they were immediately comfortable. I purchased the brown this year. The only negative is that over time, they do stretch quite a bit because of the loops.

The sole of this shoe is just like the other Dansko sandals. They are lightweight, soft but hot footbed, and good arch support. But on this style, the top is much looser. I have to walk a little slower and splay my toes to keep them from slipping! I have a high arch and this is very unusual for me. Maybe I just got an odd pair. I did keep them. I just need to wear them to parties and dinner when there is little walking. They are cute and dress up jeans and a t-shirt!

Serena sandal has a comfortable foot bed, but it does not hug the foot very well (runs wide). The shipping was free and the delivery was very fast.

This shoe is very attractive. I receive many compliments. The style is substantial yet feminine. My only issue is that the leather strapping was not as fitted as the same shoe I had tried on in a store. The store didn\'t have the color I wanted so ordered on line.

I totally love these but I have to return them. The shoe itself is amazingly comfy and the look is simple yet perfect. Unfortunately, the top portion of the sandal is about 1/4 inch, maybe a little more, too big. I am very aware of wearing them because of that. I feel like I have to always flex my toes to keep them from flying off, just too loose. The size is perfect too. I'm very sad that that is the case. I am almost tempted to order a different pair and see if they fit different, not sure what to do yet. Either way, I'm sad I have to send them back.

I love the arch support of Danskos. These sandals are no exception. The foot bed is cushy enough too. There is way too much space between my foot and the straps to wear this without lots of work holding them on. I kept the sandals and put a thick pad on the foot bed to take up some room. It's not ideal but it makes them a bit snugger. This is a hard sole type clog/sandal with no bend. The blue color is well represented in the photo and it looks great with denim, white or khaki.

Dansko shoes are great for comfort and support. I loved this sandal and it is perfect for short periods of time. However, I wouldn't recommend for distance walking because I got a blister in the bottom of my toes and a sore on the top of my foot where the leather was rubbing. The leather also stretches. I will still wear this shoe but it is no longer a favorite since it doesn't work for long walks.

These shoes don't stay on quite as well as I'd like, but it only takes a few minutes of breaking them in, in the mornings before I don't think about it any more. The heel drags a little on the floor when you walk, but I wore then 9 hours straight the first day, with plenty of walking, without any discomfort. They are cute, too!

This sandal is adorable with shorts and long pants. The footbed is soft and supportive, but I found the length to be a bit short. I always order a 38, and it fit like a 37. You might need to order a size bigger. I ordered the Dansko Sela last summer, but my pinky toe kept sliding between the straps. The Serena prevents this from happening. I will be returning the 38 and ordering a 39.

I love these shoes, when I saw them I had to have them, but they don't fit my feet! The 8 1/2-9 is too short in the foot bed. If I go up the next size the leather part is way too loose and doesn't hold my feet and when I walk they slide completely off my foot. I must have skinny thin long feet. I wanted to love them and try to make it work, but I couldn't. I must be the only person in the world who can't wear Dansko shoes considering the rave reviews they get. Otherwise, they are pretty on.

I have several Dansko clogs and sandals and really prefer the traditional soles and leather foot beds as they last much longer and are easier to clean. The new styles do not seem as supportive and feel looser in width. I miss the Monica style. This is an overall cute shoe, but felt sloppy in the width.

Love the color and style but the shoes rub the top of my foot above the instep. I will be returning them.

At first I thought this would work but after walking a bit in them some problems developed and my heels tend to slide inwards off the shoe bed so I've had to spend a lot of time with that moleskin stick-on stuff layering it all over the inside to try to get my foot to go the correct direction. The straps are not made to contour my foot so one place digs a bit into the right foot so again, I got busy sticking on that stuff and they make a sucking kind of noise when I walk so I need to put baking soda on the heel to stop it from making that sound. I'm trying to stretch out certain parts of the leather to make it fit better and it torques my left foot in a weird way. The leather is that thin cheap kind, not the thick comfy kind in the clogs, and probably some of the issues are due to shoddy standards now with manufacturing a cheaper shoe? that being said, the style is great, 5 stars, and if I can get them to work properly I will enjoy wearing them, I just anticipate it will be a lot of work. And one thing I should mention and my left foot is a tiny bit bigger so some issues with the left could be due to that. I'm sure it works great for some people and just walk on them longer before going out in them! After my latest session with the stick on stuff they seem to be working better so there is hope.
