I have worn Danskos for years. Always a great style, either open back or professional clog. I selected the black patent because it goes with everything and they feel great. My motto is comfort and support first, then style, this shoe does it all. And dealing with Zappos is just the icing on the cake.

Ladies, if you’re on your feet all day and come home with tired and aching feet... treat yourselves to a pair of Dansko clogs. The patent leather is easy to keep clean and looks great with jeans or slacks.

I LOVE these shoes! I have a big toe that doesn’t bend, in addition to bone spurs in the toe. Even the process of trying on shoes is very painful! These shoes have saved me. I am a teacher, and on my feet all day, and I have no pain when I wear these shoes. The arch support is fantastic. I was worried about scuffs with the patent leather, but a dampened microfiber sponge has removed any scuff that I have had with no problem at all, and they still are shiny and perfect. I have gotten many compliments. I have another pair of Dansko Professionals, and these two pairs are pretty much the only shoes I wear. You won’t be sorry! I am a size 8, and take a size 38. The size 38 patents did seem a hair smaller than my other 38s which are not patent leather.

Great, very comfortable, excellent quality shoes. I already have one other pair and when I saw these bright red leather shoes, I could not pass the opportunity to get a pair. This particular model was very hard to find. I was lucky to find it in this website and in my size. Everybody comments on my shoes. My red shoes attract so much attention, that at the beginning I thought people were making fun of them, but then everybody who sees them can't pass the chance to comment on them. I like the attention I get when I get the shoes. I wear them with my school uniform every day. My high school students are very jealous of my shoes and some want to get them. I am the talk of town when I wear the shoes. People think it is plastics or some synthetic material because they are super shinny and very smooth. They can't believe when I tell them it is real leather and then I have to remove my shoe to show them the brand. I love these shoes. I made a great buy. The color is unusual, but the color is the reason why these shoes are very special and something unique! Too bad Dansko does not make any other styles in the same color and material! You are lucky if you happen to get a pair of this particular style.

This is the shoe for Dansko lovers who need to dress up and still want to wear their professionals. I adore my Professionals and wear little else. Great arch support, great cushioning, good for your feet. Only two caveats: 1) when you aren’t used to them, you can turn your ankle on uneven terrain. 2) the shoe color can seep onto your toes if you walk in very wet conditions, but all around, if you are on your feet a lot or you are a dancer, the professional is definitely worth a try. As to size, I have some that are my regular street size and wear with thick socks whereas the Patent I got a half size down and wear with thin socks/tights.

These are the best shoes. I’m a nurse and have been through many different types of shoes, but these are the only ones that, after 12 hours, don’t kill my feet and back. They are adorable and worth every penny!
