The perfect shoe in many ways! I looked and looked for a shoe I could wear on a long trip, one that would be comfortable and supportive all day, but would look more like a shoe than a sneaker. Although I have a very hard time finding comfortable shoes, I care about style as well. I'd about given up when I found these. I have bunions, which mean my feet are wide and sensitive to rubbing, so mary jane styles just don't work for me. But these do! The top comes up high enough on the foot to avoid rubbing, but is still cut low enough to be cute. And the edging around the top is super-soft, so no chafing. In addition, they have a lot of support - much more so than other casual flats. With the contrast stitching and rubber trim (and the silver patch on the back, which I could do without), they are still more sporty than dressy, but I have worn them with skirts and they look very cute. Under black slacks, they will be totally appropriate at all but the very dressiest spots. They run a little wide (which I needed), but that gives you room to add an insole for additional cushioning (although the Ecco cushioning is good). All in all, a shoe that fills a huge need - I think I'll get a ton of wear out of them. (I've been wearing them without socks this summer, but will not hesitate to wear them with black socks in cooler weather.)

Perfect fit, exceptionally comfortable, very lightweight. They stay on well but are easy to slip on and off. Unlike sandals, you can really run and jump in these. Great compromise if sneakers are just too much shoe. The sides pooch out a little when I step on my toes. I hate to make noise when I walk, so I appreciate that these don't clop or clack or snap. However, the heels have started to make a duck quack when I walk on carpet at work, as mentioned by another reviewer who said they squeak. The Silver color around the top of the shoe is decidedly lavender. They look great with jeans. This shoe does not bother my bunions at all. I don't care about the minor minuses; I still love them.

I loved these shoes, and wore them a lot, but after about a month they unfortunately started to make squeaky sounds, so now when I walk my friends say "you know your shoes squeak"; if you can live with that, I can't, they're great. I even put in some store-bought innersoles, no luck. Still squeak. Can I still return these, Zappos?

Loved these shoes, but unfortunately had to return them because the heel counter was too high and was causing friction. I have very high arches and would have used an orthotic in these shoes.

I really like this shoe however because of the design and construction there is a problem for me. At the center of the throat the trim meets under the wing tab that wraps under to the inside of the shoe. This makes the tab bulky especially if the trim is overlapped under the tab. It presses down uncomfortably when walking. I wanted to keep these shoes so badly that I thought of smashing the tab down with a hammer to flatten it but decided to just return the shoe instead. I always have to order 1 size down in Ecco shoes.

Darling very comfortable shoes, I have these in black and love them. I thought I'd try the white, but they are not white. More of a dirty tan. I wish they were white. Oh well I am returning them.

A very stylish and comfortable pair of shoes. I love that the insole is removable and I can put my own orthotic arch supports inside. I have wider feet and these aren't too narrow. I normally wear 7.5 W shoes and the Ecco 38 size is perfect for me.

I had high hopes, but seemed to run long (8.5) and since my left foot is already smaller, I couldn't keep them on even with inserts.

I tried this in white. I also already own it in black, and what they call warm grey metal/stone but is more bronzy and last year's white/grey model with white sole. I was looking for a true white but this is off-white; nothing wrong with it just not the color I needed right now. Very comfy shoes. I wear a size 10 and get the 41.

I thought these ran big, so am sending back. I wear a 7.5 and my foot is a little on the wide side. Ordered the 38, but just way too big. Will try next size down.

Fantastically light weight and comfortable shoe. Dressy enough to wear to work with slacks too. I love them.

This is a nice little skimmer for summer into the fall. A little pricey, however, it is made well.

The silver is dark and reflects well which serves great as a neutral colored shoe that matches everything. The shoe is super comfortable. I've been using them (I bought a second pair in red) in place of sneakers for a slightly dressier look. I've been wearing them with jeans, khakis, and cropped pants. They are comfortable enough to walk and stand most of the day and help me keep up with my active 18 mos old son. Too casual for work, but I did not buy them for that purpose. I would recommend without hesitation.

Cute shoes and very supportive. You'd be surprised how useful gold shoes are! These ended up being a little too big for me, gapping at the sides, so I ordered the next size down.

I love this shoe! It is replacing an old pair of Rieker shoes that I've worn down to no support. It can easily be worn for work - with skirts/dresses or slacks, or for very casual. I normally wear a 9 1/2 or 10C - got the 41 (10 - 10 1/2) and think it's a medium width, and it fits perfectly.

I like this brand, unfortunately my usual size 6/6.5 was still too big and the shoe is wide. The materials and quality are all there, just not the fit.

Love the shoes! They are great for walking around NYC! Little bigger than normal Ecco but good for summer foot swelling. Used an arch support for added comfort.

Theses are attractive and understated, comfortable and will be ideal for daily wear. One thing worth noting is that the (removable) innersole has support built in. Also the heel is designed so as to take pressure off of the center of the heel. This is especially appreciated by those who have heel problems. Size is right on. I believe that, like many Ecco shoes, they have a Euro fit and are a little wider than the typical "B-medium" shoe.

We are going to Italy in a few weeks, and I wanted to find a more stylish walking shoe than tennis or tie shoes. Comfort is key, and these fit the bill. I tried them out for four days in California - lots of walking on wine tours - and never had a blister or problem. I would recommend for total comfort and true to size.

A classy and sporty sneaker alternative for summer with shorts, capris and casual skirts or dresses. They stay on securely, don\'t rub and are flexible and soft to walk on; easy to slip on and off and to clean. I wore previous version for years then they seemed to stop making them so I\'m in heaven with this new pair, just waiting for a white\/beige version.

Loved the look and color. I tried two sizes and neither worked. This shoe does not really come in half sizes. It is a shame!

I was unable to get this shoe from the Ecco Shoe store while there shopping. They were sold out. I went to Zappos and they had it! I got it about three day later. This is a great, comfortable walking shoe!

Ecco shoes work well for me. I was searching for a shoe that is no longer offered, and Zappos suggested this one. It's a perfect shoe for Maui, where I live. It's attractive, light-weight, and easy to slip on and off. I liked it so much I ordered another pair in black.

Love the look, very comfortable but too big! I am a true size 8 and there was about 3/4 of an inch more room. I also have a slightly more narrow foot and it is a little too wide for me.

Very soft and comfortable but too big for size 36. It is a bit too shiny for my taste.
