Not for people with high arches - I have very high arches and I feel pressure pain on the top of my foot soon after putting on this shoe. Unfortunately this keeps me from being able to wear them when walking long distances.

Nice looking clog - Nice looking clog very comfortable and not slip sole. I wear them to work during the day. With long pants they have a dressy look to them.

Great comfort and look. This is my second pair. These shoes are great. Very stylish and comfortable.

Super comfort - I bought these clogs after reading reviews about it. I was looking for an easy comfortable shoe to slip off and on with ease. It was comfortable from the moment I put it on and I wear them every day.

My favorites!! I had my first Simple Clogs for 7 years. They were brown suede and I loved them. I thought I had lost them and broke down and bought a new pair. I have worn them EVERYDAY since UPS delivered them expect 2. My co-workers think I'm crazy but they are the most comfortable shoe...they have great traction in the snow too!! I found my older pair and can't bear to give them up. These shoes are the next best thing to flip flops!!

Clunky but Super Comfy - I just ordered and received my first pair of Simple Clogs and they are great. They look much heavier than they feel. I bought them in the winter (California), but I think they'll be great for summer use too. I think they will scratch easily and then the color will be uneven, but that wasn't a concern of mine since they are casual shoes for me. I ordered my usual street shoe size and plan to wear them without socks. They are especially great for me since I have a fairly narrow foot and most clogs swim on me.

Just the most comfortable shoes. I live in Southern California and a lot of the clogs with sheepskin or fuzzy lining I find to be too warm, even in "winter" - this is my first winter with Simple clogs and they are perfect almost every day. They keep my whole foot warm on chilly days even without socks- but they are not too hot on warmer days. I overpronate and my flattened feet hurt at the end of the day with a lot of shoes, but not these. As for looks, they definitely are not dainty but not TOO clunky. The leather definitely gets scratched easily, but I choose to interpret this as "burnished" rather than "scuffed". I haven't tried polishing them yet. I wear either a 7 or a 7-1/2 in shoes, and the 7 1/2 on this fits perfectly- definitely big at all.

Comfortable, Comfortable shoes - I can't say enough about these clogs. I was thrilled to find that Zappos carried these as I actually bought my first pair almost 10 years ago (they were beginning to look pretty worn) and I was getting worried that I wouldn't be able to find them again. I must agree with a lot of the other reviews that these shoes do run on the smaller side. Be sure to order at least 1/2 size up from the size you normally wear. As for the look, I don't think these are the prettiest shoes around, but I bought them for comfort and quality and that's what they are.

Best shoes I've ever owned - I'm on my third pair of the simple new original in gaucho. Not the most beautiful shoe or color, but gaucho wears really well and cleans up nicely with some leather conditioner or natural color polish no matter how scuffed they get. I wear them to work, camping, around home, shopping, traveling. I am quite hard on them as I wear them in rugged conditions and I do not baby them. Most comfortable shoe I have ever worn in my life. Forms to my foot with wear, stays cool in hot weather, warm in cool weather. Lining is very comfortable on the bare foot. I can wear mine with socks after they are broken in, but often wear them without. I've worn them in all weathers, climates, and conditions. I particularly like taking them camping / off-roading, then wearing them to work with a skirt the next day! They have performed well in the desert, the snow, the mountains, and the rain. They remain wearable long after they look worn out. Whey I buy a new pair, I save the last pair for knock-around use in the garden, etc. No single shoe can do it all, but this one comes as close as I've ever found. Quality and fit in the New Original is better than some of the other Simple clogs (tho I like those too), and the gauchos are sturdier and better wearing than the other colors. Definitely gets the prestigious "Mountain Kimmie's Five Trees On The Mountain Award".

Love Simple Clogs - This is my second pair, I wore the first one out, but it took about six years. Feel great the minute you put them on, the most durable shoes I have ever owned.

Perfect fit - These felt like slippers from day 1. Other Simple clogs need a short breaking in period - not these. I'm a 6 1/2 and the recommended size 7 fits great, with or without sox, and width is comfy, not tight. Combined with Zappos great service, buying shoes is fun again.

Disappointed - I am disappointed in the way the leather wears. I have already had to polish them. They get scratched up to easy.

COMFORTABLE! These are the most comfortable clogs I own. I have two pairs and I LOVE them. I have around 6 or 7 pairs of other brands, but my Simples clogs seem to be the ones I wear the most. I don't know how they are on anybody else, but size-wise they fit my feet perfectly and seem to be very true to size.

The most comfortable shoe - I have always wanted this shoe, but just wouldn't purchase because of the price, when I saw it on the Zappos site I couldn't resist. I have already worn other Simple shoes and sandals and are totally satisfied. Simple makes a great shoe and I highly recomend them.

Great Service - I ordered this shoe and it came in just 3 days. I had ordered it too big so the day they arrived I got on line and ordered a smaller pair. They arrived the very next morning! I hadn't even got to the post office to return the first pair. Now that is GREAT service! Oh, and I love the shoes!

Walking On Clouds... I love these shoes, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. If it weren't for the fact they are warm shoes, I would even wear them all summer. I do have high arches and they can be a bit too snug across the top of my foot after several days of wearing only them. But I love these shoes so much that no other winter clog would do. I searched these cloggs down when my old pair had finally seen better days. I bought my first pair in 1996 and just retired them this year, 2003. Other than being worn and beat up they are still good shoes. They are now my hiking, camping shoes. The new ones are my dress shoes. So dollar for dollar, the shoes are worth every penny. I am just glad I was able to find them through Zappos.com

Love this clog! After searching and searching for a clog that was both comfortable and looked great, I decided on the Simple clog and I have never been happier with a shoe! It envelopes your foot in so much comfort, you hate taking them off! This is an excellant buy, well worth it!

World's Greatest Shoe I know this is silly but I cannot say enough about this shoe. I have worn it almost every single day for three years and all I do is give it a quick polish and it still looks brand new! I joke with people and say I get upset that I have to take it off to go to bed! It's warm (I live in New England) It's cool ( I even wear it all summer!). You will just love this shoe!

Happy feet! I bought the Simple Rita sandal last summer and liked them so much I had to have a pair of winter Simples. I got the New Original and they're as comfortable as I thought they'd be. They have a nice soft insole and the uppers sorta mold to you foot as you wear them. They are great to wear if you are on your feet a lot.
