Had to order a size down. Bought the long sleeve of this shirt and it was swimming on me. I love the softness of this fabric so ordered the short sleeve one size down. It fits with no added room but still comfortable.

I am 5'11" 200lbs and own three other tamiami long sleeve shirts. I originally bought a medium which ran quite large. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as the larger fit allows the shirt to be a bit more breezy, and it still looks good as a loose fit shirt. However, if you want a more standard fit, size down a size. I bought a size S and it fits like a medium should on me. I use these shirts for kayaking and hiking. The lightweight material and vents allow me to wear a shirt in hot conditions without overheating. When you start to sweat or just get the shirt wet, that is when the fabric really performs and wicks all the heat off of you. If using this shirt for hiking, be aware that this fabric is not the most durable as it can rip easily if snagged on a branch. If you want a slightly more durable garmet, the Bahama shirt might be a better option. I also wear these shirts to my office job on days when i'm going kayaking after work and i get loads of compliments.

I really like this style for travel as well as fishing. I prefer the open top pocket as opposed to the flap ones. I vary between a large and XL for shirts and the large is plenty big for me. I have another one in light jade on order.

This white shirt is super cool and comfortable in the Texas heat. The RealTree Edge accent inside the collar is a winner for me. The material stays clean and food stains rinse right out (just do it quick).
