I bought three for a conference. It was in a warmer climate and these shirts kept me cool. Material breathes well and dries fast.
It was true to size.

We got it in the hope it won't need ironing, but we haven't got that far yet.
I like the construction except for the velcro on the pockets; it makes too much noise when I lift up the flap. A button or a snap would be an improvement.

I have several of these shirts in several colors and both long and short sleeve and my biggest compliant is the placement of the buttons. If you notice in the photo the top button is quite high and the next one down is too low. You won't like the fit and feel with anything in the pockets unless you button the upper button, which to me is not comfortable. I have several other Columbia shirts and none of the other styles do this. The shirt is well made and the material is superior to other brands. I hope Columbia realizes their mistake and corrects it soon.

Buying this shirt for my brother for Christmas, after he borrowed mine on a recent trip and loved it. But...I am forced to guess at his size and with a 30 days from purchase return policy, I will will be saddled with a shirt that I can't use if it does not fit him. I could have waited until late December to buy it but then the shirt may not have been in stock. Bad to put your customers in this position.

I bought this for my Dad. He loves these shirts and wears them year round. He has one in every color. They do not fade easily and they keep him cool. I bought a solid color because the plaid did not look quite the same in person. Just preference.

These are great for a long day of fishing - but they run really large. My husband wears a Med/Large normally (is somewhat slender) and a small was even a little big.

I own a restaurant in FL and have to go from kitchen at 95 degrees to dining area and needed a shirt that looks great but can handle stifling humidity. Cleans easily. On the less than great side the wrinkles that came with the shirt are still there after a lot of washes. The stitching quality is below average, so the dark colors mask that fact better. I bought the black and dark blue and am pleased. If you are used to the quality of Northface's summer wear you will be disappointed - but for $40 this is a good value.

Good quality and smart looking. Good addition to the wardrobe....but fit runs very large. Could not return as I was leaving country but will have pleasure to give it as a gift.

Used this on some hiking in Hawaii in a rain forest and very sunny and hot conditions and it was very comfortable in both situations.

This is an attractive functional mens shirt, The size is as advertised, not too large or too small fit. The fabric is very light weight. Much more for summer wear then winter wear. There are numerous small pockets good for fishing. The wicking fabric absorbs sweat and blood (be wary of bug bites while outdoors because blood wicks easily into the light fabric). Looks good untucked.

Out in the full sun in Central Oregon, mid-summer, I stayed comfortably cool all day long. The size runs large; I might be better off in the next smaller size.

I usually wear XL, but when I got it, it was huge. I exchanged it for a L, and it fits pretty good. I love the material, it is really lite and breezy.

The shirt was excellent, unfortunately, too small for me, but a friend was able to use it, so I sold it! I liked the color, too!

I have many Bonehead SS Shirts, and this is the first time I buy another model shirt from Columbia. To my surprise the Tamiami II SS is smaller than the Boneheads, so it did fit, but tight.

As usual, the shirts are sized one size larger, but I don't mind, just an FYI. However, the light colored shirts such as white are practically see through. This is due to the very high tech, quality, and breathable material the shirts are made of. Because of this, the dark colored shirts I purchased such as blue and black look much better, almost like dress shirts rather that your average fishing gear.

As a swimming pool service tech in Southern California, I got this shirt pricipally for it's sun protection and because it is lightweight and cool. Now that I have it I think it will be great for a boating vacation we have planned. Should be easy to hand wash and air dry. I like the button down collar.

This is a great shirt. It washes easily and dries very quickly. It it cool and comfortable and great for traveling. I do wish you had some print shirts with designs. I know these shirts are for fishing, but we use them for traveling. Plaids, prints and/or stripes would add a fashion curve to the shirt.

Hot and rainy is the name of the game where I live in Southeast Asia so I'm always looks for clothes that are cool and light. The Tamiami fits that bill perfectly. The colors always seem to be a bithmm, I'll just say "pastel" for my taste, not sure if that is a fishing thing but I mainly use them for hiking and just being hot! I have managed to find several blues, a tan and a black that fit my color tastes. As you can tell I really like this shirt and have 5 of them becuase they breath and dry fast. Many times I dipped it in the river to cool off and it was dry before I knew it. I noticed with this year's version there was an improvement in dealing with the antibacterial issue, you know you really sweat it in and just can't get that smell out. Overall I highly recommend this shirt!

The men's Tamiami II Short sleeve Shirt is indeed very comfortable to wear and dries quickly from sea water splashes or perspitation. I have at least a dozen Columbia PFG shirts, they are hands-down the best boating shirts around and are stylish enough to wear at the club, too. They all wash up well and dry with very few wrinkles. My favorites.

I bought one of these shirts from a local shop and paid almost twice the price. Great shirt, lightweight, SPF guarded, and launders like a dream. The only drawback is that the material "picks" if you launder it with anything velcro. Be careful. Overall, love it!

It was even thinner and lighter weight than I expected.
Workmanship is well up to standards.
