Very comfortable from the start. My feet love them! I have a squeak in my left boot but really don't care. I will buy these again.

These boots have good support, comfortable and good traction.

Great boots. Did not need any time to break them in. I was off and hiking in Big Bend National Park right away. Very comfortable yet my foot and ankle felt very stable. The laces are quick and easy. Happy about the rubber toe and the waterproof feature kept my feet nice and dry while hiking through the Rio Grande. I wear a 9 and purchased a 9. They fit perfect with a room in the toe box.

Great Boots

While the boots were generally comfortable through the footbed and heel, the lack of adequate padding on the tongue did not provide enough cushioning along the inner ankle bone and resulted in increased discomfort through wearing.

I am very pleased with my purchase that was on sale for half price! I had been looking at these for nearly two years but they were out of my price range. The pair are a perfect fit and comfortable as I break them in around the house recently. I look forward to many hiking trips with my new Women Pyrenees!

I love my Pyrenees size 8 boots. I wear them all the time outdoors walking and hiking. They fit my hooves really well. Short very wide feet with a high arches and narrow heels. I walk and hike 24 to 30 miles a week in the low mountains. My normal hiking socks fit great and I've already hiked couple hundred miles in my Pyrenees boots already. I need to buy a pair of 8. 5 boots for very cold weather. My thick insulated socks make my boots too tight. I bought the size 8 boots because my foot slipped around too much in the 8. 5 boots with my regular hiking socks. I love the toe box of your boots are so comfortable. It's like my toes float in your boots.

As another reviewer mentioned, the marmalade color is a bit of a shock right out of the box. They are definitely more orange than I imagined. However, the color grows on you, and to be honest, I have never received so many compliments about my shoes! People I work with seem to love them. I guess they are hard to miss since they are so bright! The Pyreness are definitely a different experience than my first pair of KEENs. My first pair of Keen shoes were the purple Zionics which I adore. I call them my Hurricane Shoes because I received them September 26, 2024 which is the day before Helene. They did not need breaking in, and I thought they were super cute and comfortable. They also withstood the torrential rains of Helene! They are the first pair of truly waterproof shoes I have ever owned. But back to the Pyrenees. They are a little bigger, heartier, and taller than the Zionic. They do seem to run a little big compared to the Zionic. At least on my foot they do. I wear 9 1/2 and the Zionic fit perfectly. My foot slides a little in the Pyrenees. A thicker sock helps and tying all the laces up to the top as tight as I can helps. However, its not as easy as tying my Zionics. Its funny that another reviewer thought the laces were too short. I feel like they are too long! But I love that you get two pairs of laces and one is forest green. My toes are definitely happy in the Pyrenees and the shoes are supportive and comfortable. They keep my feet feeling good till the end of my 7-8 hour shift. I work at a grocery store and stand all day. I havent been able to test out how waterproof they are yet. But I am not sure I would hike in them because they run a wee bit too big and I think my foot would slide too much and cause blisters. I am not sure I would trade them in for the 9s though because as another reviewer said, the half size down was too small. So 9 1/2 is my usual size, but a wee too big, but the 9 might be too small. So I like them enough to keep them. I would give them four stars. The Zionic gets 5 stars though and I look forward to ordering the sneaker version of the Zionic!

Not the quality that I was expecting, uncomfortable , I purchased many shoes from KEEN, but it seems as though just as every other company the quality is declining.

I have been wearing Keen boots for many years. I'm a big fan of the wide toe box. I would, and do, recommend them for anyone who has wide feet like mine. I like these boots fine. I could wish that the online photos showed the bright orange a bit more, it was a bit of a shock when I opened the package. The right boot caused painful binding around the right ankle at first, but that is easing up as they get broken in. I haven't experienced that with other Keen boots so it surprised me. It seems you have shortened the laces since I last bought a pair. I had always thought they were a bit too long, so I was glad to see that. But now they seem a bit too short. Too short to tie a double knot. Also the laces you use always seem to come untied easily. But those are minor complaints. In general, I really love Keen boots, and was happy to find this one at half price.

So far so good! I havent yet tested the boot under weight or wet conditions. There is more flexibility in the sole than expected. I sized as I would a running shoe, and the boot fits well with a heavy sock. I did have to lace with surgeon knots to keep my foot secure.

The boots are very comfortable! I don't need to break them in, just wear them. Will be great for shoveling snow.

The nine was too big, 8 1/2 too small. I was very disappointed because the boots were just what I wanted.

All leather (quality leather) in the classic Keen fit. Im on my fourth pair, including having new heals out on pair number 2 and 3.

Comfortable, supportive hiking boot

Super cute, and yes Keen is traditionally wider toe box than most shoes, but this style didn't come w wide sizing (I'm size 10). I have bunions and wearing these for a few hours w thin socks on my feet all day end up being a bit painful. Wearing them to work where I'm not on my feet all day, they're fine. I've had them for over a week and taking them on a hike finally today (I usually do 2-3 miles but we'll see if they start hurting). If you are someone who struggles with needing wide shoes, you might want to skip this style until they improve sizing options. The good part is that, since I have a high-volume feet (high arches + high top-of-foot), I can lace them loosely on that part & easily tighten on the ankle to create stability. The laces hold very well, no slippage at all. Soles are very comfortable. I'm keeping them for now, but we'll see after this hike. @Keen, please make wide sizes. Sizing up would be too long.

I love these boots! They are so incredibly cute and comfortable! I like the wide toe box! I always wanted a pair and I snatched them up at 50% off!! Delivery was on time!

I absolutely love these boots!!!! I have been wearing them for at least 6 years. (ALWAYS the red one)I have tried other styles but I always come back to these. I am on my feet walking on concrete floors for at least 10 hours a day and they have never failed me yet.

I love everything about this boot. No break in time, right out of the box fits true to size. I wish the insole had been softer, but removed it and installed a new different insole. Now the boot is perfect, which is why I gave a 4 rating instead of a 5.

The sizing is perfect. Only took a few hours to break in. Stability protects my ankles. Firmness protects my feet. Expecting to wear these for many years to come.

Have always loved Keen for wide toe area. Sad this brand made them not wide. Sorry had to return. We have always loved Keen

I've only worn my new boots once, but I give Keen customer service and products 5 stars!

I've used these shoes for about 5 hikes so far around our farm. They definitely fit well and are comfortable. I can tell that I will be replacing the insert pretty quickly as I'm used to a particular insert, having old, tired feet that like a bit firmer support. They have a nice wide opening for getting your foot in and plenty of lace. So far the laces have stayed tied, though I generally double knot as course of habit.
