True to size, comfortable and attractive. When I say true to size I mean your real size, not your Ann Taylor size (meaning if you buy from shops that let you wear a 4 and you are really a 6, buy the 6). I have a butt to speak of, and it does a good job minimizing the protrusion. The shorts part does ride up when you are walking (especially if you are sans thigh gap, like me) but after awhile you don't notice it. I would much rather go for a walk in this than real shorts, which make my legs look like lumpy sausages. Two thumbs up.

I liked this a lot. The blue color was pretty; not boring but not too bright. The fabric, although quick dry and wrinkle free, still felt nice and looked nicer than I expected; it would be easy to dress this skort up, it doesn't look like a sports skort. There are two nice pockets in the back but none in the front which would be a good addition. The length was nice, not too short. I'm about 5'4" and it hit me a bit above the knee. The undershorts are a nice, soft knit material (felt like a soft t-shirt) and they had a close but not tight fit-these are not spandex compression shorts underneath. The problem was the fit. I'm pear shaped with hips and thighs that are bigger in proportion to my waist. This skort fit my hips and thighs fine but was at least an inch too big in the waist. So I sadly returned it.

I originally purchased this skirt in a size 6 but returned it because the shorts underneath are made of a nylon supplex (think windbreaker) fabric and causes unsightly ripples on the rear of the skirt. I thought if I went up a size it would solve the problem but it did not. It is a cute skirt. I wished they would have used a lycra short underneath.

The material of this skort makes it look messy and wrinkled. Also the shape didn't fit me like the model. I'm a size 8-10 and this had a bell shape. I prefer more of a slimmer shape on the bottom.

This is a very comfortable skort. It was comfortable in hot Hawaiian weather and perfect for the rainy days in Kauai, where it rained several times a day, because it dries so quickly. The skort is long enough to feel modest and comfortable enough to wear all day.

I love it! I tried it on at a local store, having never been able to wear traditional skorts in the past (pear shaped), I did not have high hopes. I love it! Cute, flattering, comfy. Feels sporty and dressy at the same time. I would wear it every day. I was thrilled to see Zappos carried it in different colors, and at a cheaper price than the store where I purchased the original.

This skirt is super cute flattering and comfortable. I like that it isn't too short. It has nice stretch, and fits well around the waist. I am 5'7" and 130 lbs. I got the size 6, and it's a tiny bit big around the waist. Size 4 might have worked, but I didn't want it to be tight. It is very well made.

I have been searching for a perfect travel/summer skort - and this is the one! It zips in back which completely stops the problem I have had with all the others of bunching up in the front. Even better it came out of the packaging with no wrinkles. I ordered in black too. Thanks Zappos for helping me to finally find my favorites!

I am really happy with this skort. It is a great length, (not too short, nor too long, but just right) and comfortable. I wear it often, and the shorts underneath are loose enough but not visible through the skort. It is a great addition to my summer wardrobe!

Love this skort! I ordered it in tan and it fit great right out of the box. The fabric is perfect for travel or for just hanging out. The only complaint is it's a little big around the waist but not enough to go down a size. I'm 5'2" 115 lbs. and I ordered a size 4. Came back and ordered the black and green after receiving the first one. Easy, no fuss dressing for hot summers!

I love Royal Robbins quality. I have pants that I live in all winter and skirts I live in all summer. The flat front is a very attractive style.

Needed a skort for a trip to Italy so I could go into the multitude of churches. It needed to be wash and wear, longish, and light to pack. It met all the criteria perfectly. I could have used additional pockets but the one it had had a zipper closure which was good. The waist was far too large for my pear shape but with an over blouse it did not matter at all.

This is my second purchase of this skort. It’s a bit pricey but I wear it all the time, making my cost per wear quite low. I’m 5’8” and 135# and a size 8 fits perfectly. Normally I wear a 6 so be aware it runs a little small.

Fits great, love the long pockets in front, and perfect length. A bit longer than standard skorts. It is perfect and I'll wear it all summer!

Love this! Perfect for travel - I'd wear it hiking or out to dinner. I wear it to work and the waistline fits so well I can wear things tucked or untucked with no muffin. I wish they made it in a zillion colors. Very flattering fit and the color and fabric look like they will wear and last well. I have several different styles but wish they had more colors. Skorts are perfect for warm climates.

I am 6’0” tall and holding at 49. I was looking for a flattering skort to wear for running errands and golfing. This is perfect! Very high quality. Just the right length. I bought two colors and know these will last several years. Highly recommend.

This is my third Royal Robbins skort! These are outstanding especially when you’re past 40s and 50s and don’t really want to wear shorts anymore. These are very, very comfortable and always look good no matter how long you’ve been sitting or squashed in suitcase because I wear these through Europe year after year! Dries quickly if you have to wash on the go! And no ironing!

This skirt is great. I am 5'9" and wear a size 10. It is slimming and looks and feels great. I work outdoors and it looks professional and stylish. It is really quick drying as well. I will get more colors!

Best summer skirt/skort ever! I purchased my first Khaki one from REI two seasons ago, then two more in Khaki and Black last year and another two more this spring. So comfortable with a little stretch and the fabric finish allows it to be dressed up or down. Nice length too -- not too long or too short. I have had a lot of health problems so I have a bunch of sizes ranging from 4-8. Right now I am 5'7" waist 28-29 around 135-140 and the 6 is wearable but very snug and the 8 is comfortable with a little room. I can't recommend a piece of clothing higher -- Ive never bought this much of one specific item ever!

I absolutely love this skirt/skort. I already had a black one and wanted another color so I bought the bone color. It has a perfect short attached underneath. The skirt is made out of quick drying fabric, stretches when you need it to and is so very comfortable. I wear it with everything.

I absolutely love this skirt. Got it in red also. Doesn't wrinkle. Dries quickly. Flattering fit. True to size. Only negative is price. I don't see why it's so expensive.

I have all (6) colors and love this skort. It is my summer go to for fit and look. Dressier than shorts but just as comfortable. Washes and packs beautifully. Buy one size smaller. I wear a 6 but in this it's a 4.

This is a great addition to my wardrobe! It does not wrinkle very easily and is very comfortable. Will purchase it in black as well.

I love this skort! It was perfect for traveling and was complimentary to my pear shape. It dries super fast and the skort function is so useful, I went rappelling in this skort and it held up great.

Well worth the price. I did not want to pay an obscene amount for a summer skirt.
