Adidas took a great shoe (the Originals Superstar) and did a great job of messing with a good thing. To start, the shoe is way, way bigger than its predecessor - which means it is heavier and clunkier. The fit itself was just uncomfortable from the get-go, and I decided to try and break them in to see if it improved, and it didn't. The arch support is terrible! I'm not saying there wasn't arch support; instead, I'm saying there was way too much arch support. I found these shoes highly uncomfortable. I wish Adidas would bring back the Originals Superstar.

Love them!! Used to have them when I worked in a sporting good store in high school. That was almost 30 years ago. Brought back great memory's they rock!!

To those people who complained that these shoes are a bit narrow and the arch support is too much, well the solution is to walk in them regularly for a few months. The only improvement I would like to see from Adidas is to make the shell toe wider because I find them to be too narrow.

I am on my 4th pair of Adidas superstars, I've had them in white with pink glitter stripes, white with silver stripes, all black, and now, black with white stripes. They look great in all the color combinations. I have wide (flat feet), and these are the only shoes that fit well and don't make my feet look huge. I wear a mens 7.5, which is about a women's 8.5 . I use them everyday, but they work the best for me when I take my hip hop dance classes, because unlike other sneakers, they are not too heavy, they provide just the right amount of cushion, and they are easy to do spins in. Other sneakers grip the dance floor too much, and are too heavy.

Great looking sneakers. Run a half size smaller for me so had to buy 10.5.

Loved the shoes...I ordered a pair of Adidas for myself and my 3 year old. Loved the free shipping and how quick they got here. Really lucky that I have honest neighbors though because they delivered them to my neighbors and didn't have them sign. They could have kept the shoes that I already paid for.

Great shoe, I have low arches and my feet don't ache at the end of the day and when I where them I am constantly moving so this is truly a great shoe.

The Superstar Adidas have always been the most comfortable shoes for my foot! They are great! This pair looked Navy on the web page but in real life they are a dark purple.

I love these shoes! They are very comfortable and good for walking through the city. I walk half an hour to and from work every day and they do not make my feet hurt. Plus I get lots of compliments on them.

My daughter bought this shoe last year in another color. The comfort level is good, but the size does run a bit big. It's a bit of a bulky shoe, too.

Excellent manufacture and body, combine an original rubber tip with a strong leather upper and a timeless look. I've used them for 35 years.

Spring time and I needed new sneakers. Can't get more classic and Hip Hop than shell tops. This is my 1st pair. They look great. They do run a 1/2 size large so I ordered a 7 instead of 7.5 and they were perfect. I'm sure this will be the first of many colors I get. Love Zappos!

I was looking for a great price on these and I found the best price here. The shoes fit perfect and they look great. I used the men's size from my other black and white adidas and it worked out awesome! Also, I thought it would be like a week before I received them, but it was only 4 days.

I am really happy with these shoes. I originally bought the gazelles, but had to return them because the tongue of the shoe was so uncomfortable. I've owned a pair of originals before and they're stylish and functional. Very pleased with my purchase.

I bought these shoes to wear for work because I needed something that was all black. They're comfortable but now amazing, but unlike a lot of the other options out there they don't look half bad.

Great casual shoe. It has little to no arch support which I expected with such a flat sole. The one thing I didn't like is it seems like this line of shoe is narrower than my other adidas of the same style. I would recommend this shoe to anyone, however if you're on the fence about what width to go with I would recommend going wider to ensure comfort.

I love these shoes. I've worn many pairs of these, but usually in white. It takes a couple squats to get the sole a bit more flexible; I find that common with most non running shoes. They're super comfortable. I love the way the look. Sizing is right on - true to size they claim. Zappos is a great source - free returns for a year (in case of wrong fit, etc.). I'll order again from Zappos.

Love these shoes in the New Navy. They fit exactly the same as they always have (I'm a woman 9.5 so the man's 8.5 was perfect). The New Navy color is really awesome. When I wore them with black, they actually looked more like a charcoal, but when I wore my navy track pants the looked more blue. Really versatile. And Zappos continues to be amazing. Ordered on a Sunday and they were here Tuesday morning.

Love these Adidas! They are true to my perfect tennis shoe size. Just like I remember them from back in the day! Next up will be some black stripes. I got these with the crimson red stripes this time.

These are my favorite shoes. I have bought them like three times now and I just love em. I have wide feet and they fit comfortably and the black on black looks great.

Comfy, cute, crisp white with classic black stripes. These are more comfortable than I thought they'd be-and I have bunions, so I am impressed to say the least. These will match any casual outfit and look good as well. I ordered an 8 which is my usual size, but they are a tad roomy so I wear thicker socks and they are great.
