Got these for my stepmother for Christmas. She's now a convert.

Definitely very comfortable, and with the black it's hard to really get em dirty.

I wore Adidias Superstars my whole sophmore season in High School. I also wore them casually. They were durable and offered more support than the alternatives at that time (1977) - Converse. I hope this latest version holds up as well. But, if you are looking for a high tech latest and greatest basketball shoe - this is not for you. But, if you want to remember 1977, this shoe was state of the art.
