Perfect for speed work and race day! ADIDAS Running: Marathon 10 M Color: Black/Fresh Lemon/Metallic Silver I purchased this running shoe a year ago in my search for a shoe that is somewhere between a minimalist style and the standard everyday run of the mill style running shoe. It is perfect for me. The light mesh fabric construction of the shoe is durable. The minimal difference between the heel rise and forefoot height of the sole was exactly what I wanted. The sole is a softer rubber material, which helps in weight reduction of the shoe and to absorb impact; however, you give up durability of sole life and the visible mileage wear is noticeable right away and you will have to replace them soon (depending upon your daily mileage) if used as an everyday trainer. I use mine for once a week speed work and long run and race day! Only draw back is they are discontinuing it as far as I know.

Best running shoe I have owned. I am a serious runner, several marathons a year. Wore Asics and NB exclusivly and started having hip pain. Changed shoes to these. After first run in them (6 miles) no more pain at all. Love them and hope I can still find them next year!

I really like this shoe for long runs & for being generally awesome. It's got the support and cushion needed to stay comfortable for 5+ & they break in easily - I had 15 miles after the first week. I trail run too and the TR version is on its way and I'm expecting the same badassery in that shoe.

The only thing qualifying me to write a review is a keyboard; I bought these to try and start running regularly and be less sedentary. That said, these are great-looking shoes that feel great to run in. They're lightweight and breathe better than any shoes I've owned, and the cushioning leaves less shock for my feet and knees without sacrificing a snug fit and sure footing.

My life changed the day I began wearing these superhero slippers. The butcher slipped me an extra chop, my bank let me skip a mortgage payment and the expiration date on my milk? It disappeared. In person, these sneaks are even cooler than they look on screen with super cool vibrant red details that pop off Spiderman blue. Stylish, comfy, so supportive (I don't feel judged by these shoes at all!), you'll love them as much as I do or your money back! Wait, that's probably not true, forget I said that. Listen, the one thing you need to know is they run a little small, so be sure to go up a 1/2 size when ordering. Come on now, go! Do it! Buy these shoes!

Super light, so comfortable I started wearing them day to day in addition to using them as my runners. Fabric material picks up dirt really easy though.

I knew the product well since I've had several pairs already. So there were no surprises here. These are great sneakers; lightweight, comfortable, durable, plenty of support, good airflow, etc. I am not an athlete. I am scenic builder and theatrical rigger. Many people in my line of work use rock climbing shoes, hiking shoes or work boots. I think these are the best choice, giving me good grip and maneuverability when working in an unusual position or climbing. I also feel these are the industry choice for urban ninjas. Darn good piece of footwear!

The most comfortable sneaker! Breathable material keep feet comfy, nice cushion and great looks. I got the black and red which has a different mesh fabric that the other colors. This are running shoes but I usually prefer more cushion to run so I use this sneakers as casual shoes and I love it. I'm about to get a second pair.

I love my Marathon 10's. Very comfortable, hardly no break in. I purchased 2 pair of TR 10's from Zappos also. Very hard to find in my size. I really like Zappos. I've bought a lot of stuff from them and have always been happy with the products and service. I've looked for blue with red stripes for quite a while. I had a couple of pair maybe 30 years ago and finally found them.

Not only do the shoes look great but they are very comfortable for daily runs. I like the way that they breathe so my feet don't feel "suffocated."

Returned the wrong size. Got a prompt exchange and very courteous communication. Sent the exchange to the other side of the country--no problem. Sneakers are very light and my son, who is ultraconservative, loves the black/red sneakers.

Love these shoes. I use them in the gym and running. Very breathable and with the Adidas socks you can feel the air cooling your feet when running. Pretty stable for weight lifting too. Don't feel like I may roll my ankle like with Shox.

I recommend these sneakers to anyone. Very comfortable, I spend a lot of time at the gym and used it also for work. I purchase one of these for my wife and she love it. Good shock absorption.

I had ordered the wrong size of Running Marathon shoes; it took one call to Customer Service and correct size was on the way and no hassle, no questions, no delays! Customer Service was polite, efficient and fast. :)

Super comfortable shoe. Way better than any of my Nike's. I have the trail version and they are just as comfortable.

These are good shoes and I recommend them. The patch of yellow on the very front I could do without, and the mesh fabric is typical, but not my favorite. But overall, with so many running shoes having no style or no support/durability, these are very good because they have both. One warning: these are not warm shoes. You can feel a breeze on your toes. Great for hot weather/exercise, but not for winter. Get a half size larger than you normally would.

These are superb shoes. I do not run, I just use these shoes for when I go out. But, while being out, I know if I get into a situation when I have to run, I will have a nice advantage. I got the black/intense green/dark shale, and black/fresh lemon/metal silver models and are very cool shoes and look beautiful with adidas Originals Firebird Track Pants, indeed. These shoes feel incredible and are very breathable, especially with the mesh upper, as well. Running shoes are the best casual shoes for me as they caress your feet and have superior flexibility like no other type of shoe. I purchased these adidas Running based on brand, looks and comfort and rank five stars in every field. Only bad: these shoes are obviously made for pavement/track-type surfaces and provide almost null grip on, for example: a slick tile surface--especially when this surface is wet. Also note that only some versions of this model shoe have a mesh upper vs. synthetic leather upper. I would suggest against the running white/black/intense green model as the synthetic leather upper, though synthetic, will still show many leather creases that poke out like a shore thumb due to the fact that it is dyed a very bright white. If you are this picky avoid this color. I will be purchasing other colors as time passes and look forward to new adidas running releases.

Easily the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I bought these for the sole purpose of using them as just running shoes and now I wear them constantly. They look great and are easy to clean. They have great grip, and did I mention that they are comfortable as well?

Super light, and super comfortable. The only complaint I have is that my feet get really hot in these, besides that, it's an awesome shoe!

Love these shoes. They are awesome! Great comfort and style. Match my firehouse red, white and blue workout gear perfectly! The guys call them my "Captain America Shoes" but that is only because they are jealous.

This is my third pair of Adidas Marathon 10 shoes. I love them. I adore them. I run about 20 miles per week, and these bad boys have made shoes a non-issue in my runs. There is nothing about them that annoy me or get in the way. They are very light and breathable, and aren't bulky at all. As long as Adidas keeps making these, I will keep buying them. My only criticism would be that the big toe area and the collar area on the top tend to wear quickly. But I look at it as "breaking in" very quickly, which I prefer. After using Nike, Asics, and New Balance, these are by far the best running shoes I've ever owned.

Great shoe for the money. They are very comfortable and provide plenty of support and cushion. I read other reviews that complained about the tongue not being padded, it's true that it's not, but it's not been an issue at all for me at least. I highly recommend this shoe!

I've had these shoes about three months now, and they are still awesome. They fit a little more snugly than my previous Nikes. To give some perspective, I wear an 11 in this Adidas shoe, a 10.5 in Nike cross trainers, and an 11 in Pumas. After three months of wear, the only sign of deterioration is slight wearing away of the stickers inside the shoe on the insole where the heal goes. These shoes look great with jeans at a party, with cargo shorts at a barbecue, or with athletic shorts at the gym. Traction is very good and support is good too. The only negative so far is that these shoes are not very breathable, so my feet get hot sometimes.

Great running shoes, for the novice or expert runners. Great for the treadmill or the streets and sidewalks, not to great for trail running. Very light shoe. Highly recommended.
