Classic design. Super durable. I usually wear an 11, but when I get Gazelles, I get them 1/2 size larger, so I went with the 11.5 on these. Fits great. I still like Gazelles more, but the Samba tongue doesn't squeak for months. If you are looking for an athletic shoe with major art support - look somewhere else. If you want a comfortable, long lasting, classic, timeless pair of kicks, snatch up a pair of these Sambas.

These shoes run wide. A pair of insoles took care of that problem, however. After that, they were really good shoes. They wore well and fit well. I have only one real complaint. While wearing them, the tongues didn't have anything to hold them in place, and thus tended to drift to the side of my foot, forcing me to occasionally pull them back to the center. Perhaps it was this constant struggle and movement, but yesterday, after owning them about 6 months, I was putting them on and the entire tongue ripped off the right shoe. Looking the piece (now in my hand) a little closer, it appears that the material where the tongue is attached to the shoe (below the laces) is almost felt-like. Not the strongest material I've ever seen. I love adidas and will continue to buy them, but probably won't spring for the Samba Suede again. It's just not the type of durability I expect from the adidas brand. It's also kind of a freak material fail. For though I've worn out plenty of shoes, I've never ripped a piece out in the course of normal use.

Dark petrol/green zest. First off, these shoes are great. Don't get me wrong - my son loves them. But there are some things that are a bit of a liability. Pros: -Extremely stylish -Relatively comfy -Fairly waterproof -Very light. Cons: -The tongue rubs the shoe and makes a noticeable squeak sound that can get annoying -Difficult to clean -Not that much padding. Conclusion: For the price the shoes are brilliant, but there are a few drawbacks. They also are not fantastic for playing soccer itself, but they aren't too bad either. All in all, I would recommend and am definitely buying more pairs in the future. Samba!

I used to only buy Nike's and skate shoes, so the first thing I noticed was how light and thin Adidas Samba's are. I got them in the middle of the winter, and even though they are 'suede' I didn't experience any color change, which is good. When I was looking at them to order, I was worried about the white tag on the front to the shoe, but it really isn't very noticeable, and actually looks good. Great shoe, with a cool color scheme.

I've always loved these shoes. They aren't super comfortable, but they aren't bad either. They kept together very well, which is more than I can say for other companies.

Love these shoes. they look great and are very comfortable. maybe took a day to break in. my only complaint, which seems to be with all Adidas shoes, is the tongue always slips off to the side.

They would be great shoes, but there are 2 problems. First, the tongue of the shoe is made of some kind of rubber material, which rubs against the same material on the inside of the shoe and it makes a squeaking noise. It sounds like you have wet shoes and are walking on vinyl floor, constantly. Second, I have a pair of Adidas dragons that fit perfectly, while these feel like they are half a size too small.

I like the style, but I am really annoyed by the plastic lip inside. It feels cheap, it moves to the side, and it squeaks when you walk. I ordered half a size up because my regular size was not available anymore; I am glad I did because they still feel narrow. The soles feel thin, I hope they keep up for a while.

I bought the grey suede, and my only comment is just that it's very much a "blue-grey" than a true grey-grey, if that makes sense. The color wasn't quite what I wanted. I was looking for a more neutral grey but the color has some blue tones in it. Just FYI. Otherwise, a classic Samba from Addidas. Not the most comfortable shoe in the world for everyday wear, but for a stylish look, can't go wrong.

I've worn many different Sambas and they are made in several different Asian countries. I've noticed the quality really depends on where these Sambas are made. These ones specifically, (Originals 1949) all feel very cheap and uncomfortable. There is a fake leather on the inside heel that is extremely uncomfortable. There is fake leather used for the 3 white stripes on the side as well, looks bad. The suede on these is just way too fine and feels really bad. You're much better off getting the black originals with real leather and the black/red label on the tongue. Very cheap feeling.

I always loved Adidas and never ran in to an issue with them until now with these new Originals Samba Suede. They look good, They feel good, but the new material it uses creates a constant squeaking sound when you walk around. I thought they would disappear after wearing in but it did not. I guess over time I got used to them, but every person I hung out with complained about the squeakiness. I could not take it anymore and returned them. Hopefully there is another color scheme that I like.

The color of this image does not represent the color of the actual shoe at all. The real color is mauve. Think purple and pink together.
