I wanted to love these, I really did, but I had to return them (thanks for the free return shipping Zappos). The material on the inside is soft, but the stitching is not. The stitching rubbed up again my feet and I could tell pretty quick that these were not going to work for long walks outside. The base of the shoe wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked either. The other issued is they kept sliding off my feet when I walked so my heel was sliding off the back. Going to try Merell instead.

I've worn these quite a bit for the past four months and this is my third pair of Keens. These do not have as much arch support as previous pairs. As a result, I end up with back pain after wearing them. Also, my feet seem to end up slightly sideways in the shoes with heels twisted out. Not as cute as I'd hoped.

I was so excited about this cute athletic sandal. I ordered it in three different sizes, and none of them worked for me. My feet kept slipping out the back as I walked, no matter how I tightened or loosened them. I was really disappointed because they are so cute!

I am extremely disappointed with this style and find it was expensive but unwearable. It slips off the foot quickly despite trying all different adjustments. A slight lip at the heel might prevent that, I don't know. The model Bali stays on the foot even tho' it is backless. But this model is just an expensive mistake.

These were not the best. Shoe did not hold my foot so my foot kept sliding back - I passed these shoes on to two other folks - good looking, bad fit.

I am a Keen sandal (and shoe) devotee, but I had to send these back for two reasons: 1) The sandals do not stay on. I shoved my feet all the way in and tightened the elastic all the way, but they still slipped off even walking around my living room. No way would these hold up on an active summer's day. I would love to find a Keen that slipped on, but these really suffer from the lack of that ankle strap. Poor design. 2) The toe protection is smaller than normal (and my normal I mean on my Venice sandals). In fact, my pinky toe could stick out the side of the sandal. Poor design. Overall, they're pretty good looking, and a little more feminine than some other Keen options, but a sad failure. I got them at half price but am sending them back anyway. :(

I ordered these and they looked great but they had absolutely no arch support. Keen used to have such nice support and now it is totally flat on everything and sandals don't lend themselves to orthotics. I'm afraid Keen has lost me as a customer as long as the inside of their shoes have about as much support as a cheap flip flop.

I have two pair of the Keen Whisper sandals, and they are wonderful. I thought I would try the Whisper Slide, and I am sorry that I did. The sandal simply will not stay on my foot. I take a few steps and my heel is hanging off the back of the sandal, which is very annoying for such an expensive shoe. I have tried everything with a tension straps but nothing works. I would fully recommend the Whisper sandal, but stay away from the slide version of this shoe.

I am a Keen fan of many years and multiple pairs of shoes. I like the Whisper Slide so much I have two pairs now, one several years old. I always order half a size up in Keens as they run a little short on me in my regular size. I have small 5½, bony, narrow feet and I can sync these up, they fit great and they stay on my feet when I walk. These shoes look good with anything from shorts to leggings to casual dresses. I highly recommend them!

Light and easy to wear, adjust. Ordered half size up as recommended and that was just right. They dry quickly. Because they are backless, I wouldn't wear them under highly demanding hiking conditions, but for normal hikes and around water they work well and are quite comfortable.

Zappos allows me to shop till I find a shoe that works for me and this one does. So easy to get in and out and very comfortable. Thanks you Zappos and Keen ! Bought my normal size so I guess it runs true to sized!

I love love love these slip on sandals. This is my third pair of Keen Sandals. I wear them all day and have no tired feet at the end of the day...Picture me and my feet happy.

Comfortable slides that I can run in if needed. Heeded other reviews and ordered a half size up which fits my wide foot well.

I LOVE THESE SANDALS! I now have 3 pairs of Whisper slides. They are, hands down, THE most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I'm on my feet all day long, wearing these sandals and my feet or legs do not get tired like every other shoe does. I just bought the whisper sandal (with the strap) so that when the weather cools off I can do the "fashion faux pas" of wearing socks with my sandals. But they are that comfortable that I'm willing to go there.

When I chose ceramic tile for the floors in our home, I had no idea how uncomfortable it would be on old feet. My 71 year old feet are having some severe problems and the soul of the Keen shoe really makes it easier for me to stand and walk on this hard surface. On the other hand, I had two pairs of Keen shoes which I have had almost 10 years and was still able to use them on a trip to Galapagos where we needed shoes which could be worn in the water and on land hiking during and after our wet landings. In my opinion, these are extremely versatile shoes. While I wear 8 in most shoes, I wear 7½ in the Keen brand. Some brands of this type of shoe do not come in half sizes and are always too wide for me. My feet are very narrow and the adjustable tie on the Keen shoe helps keep the shoe snug on my feet. I hope these comments are of assistance to someone.

Perfect for the purpose. Comfortable and easy to get on and off. Nice support for around the house or on the street. Big rubber toe guard is great for preventing bumps that otherwise may come with sandals.

Really cute slide. Very feminine. Found them to be about 1/2 size too small. This Keen also did not have the superior arch support that I have found in the Newport. Had to send them back. Really wanted them to work as they are really cute, but my arches would have never forgiven me.

This is my first pair of Keen's & I love them! My sister is & has been a long time fan, convinced me to buy a pair. Based on the reviews I did order a half size up which were just a bit to big. Called Customer service, explained my problem & received my replacement pair the next day! What service! Even though they are a "slide," I find they are a bit to warm, because of the heat & humidity, for all day wear in FL. Evening okay. Come fall, these shoes will be perfect! Am going to look into buying a pair of flip flops with the toe guard. Am tired of stubbing or tripping with the regular flip flops. Love the idea of a toe guard! Whoever came up with the idea is a genius!

I have been wearing the Keen Whisper Slide every single day since they came in the mail! I love Keen shoes in general and own everything from their hiking boot to covered shoe to styles that don't exist any more (unfortunately). *Very important* I always purchase a size 9 and followed advise from other reviews and purchase a half size up, 9 1/2. Very thankful I did, they fit fantastically! Another bonus to slides versus sandals with a heel-- when a small stone gets in, its much easier to slide this shoe off. I have friends with full sandals and its a bigger pain in the tuckus. Great shoes!

This shoe was a bit to wide for me and I had trouble keeping them on. So I will be returning them, I do like the style, just not for me.

I purchased these 1/2 size larger because of other reviews, the correct size was too short. Make sure you get 1/2 size larger than you wear. I love the way they feel, great comfort when walking around all day. I would highly recommend them and plan on purchasing another style that is closed for cooler weather.

Where are the colors Keen? I have loved and worn mine for 6+ years and need to replace them. But where are the colors? There is over a dozen colors in the regular whispers and 2 boring, dark colors for summer in the slides. What the heck ?

These sandals are comfortable, and are a much better option for my everyday sandal than my flip-flops were, but hiking any amount uphill in them made me irritated because their grip isn't great on an incline. I should have known better than to try in a backless sandal, so I really don't blame the shoe. I wear these almost daily for walks to the grocery store, and they're great on my feet. They need some time to wear in, especially if you've never worn a backless sandal with no toe thong, and the straps can rub a little at first. They are not as easy to put on as other slide ins, but the minor inconvenience of adjusting it after placing my foot in the shoe is balanced with the comfort of the footbed. They look like a sport sandal, which is exactly what I wanted. I wear size 11, but I don't think they make my feet look huge.

I have worn Keens for years. Wanted a Keen slip on with just a little more coverage. And the Whisper slide is just perfect. Ordered my usual size 10, and they fit perfectly! Very comfortable right out of the box!
