Purchased these to replace my worn out Defyance 2's. I ordered the same size I was fitted with at the running store last year and they fit perfectly. Love them! Can't wait to wear them out too.

The shoes were packages neatly when delivered. I received the items earlier that I originally anticipated. The shoes themselves are the most comfortable I have worn. They worked wonders. Great service, great shoes, great buy!

love Brooks shoes for running, I had Adrenalines but decided to try these and they are great. The size fits tight but I like it that way, just be aware its very true to size. Since I like my shoes tight with a thin sock its perfect. Running wise, they are great for support as usual. I can really tell a difference in my joints after long runs!

If I ever order something from Zappos and don't receive it the next day, I'll be disappointed. My standard shipping has always been upgraded to overnight for free! They are fabulous! I wore these shoes this morning to a boot camp class and Zumba and didn't have any problems. My 2nd pair of Brooks shoes. Highly recommended!

This is my 3rd pair of Brooks. My first two were Adrenalines; they weren't available at the time I ordered so I gave the Defyance a try. I love how they feel good from the very first, no break in time. I said "aaahhh" when I put them on, they're so very comfortable. I've had bunion, neuroma, and bunionette surgery and many shoes simply do not work for my foot - these are terrific. What was really neat on this order was that these shoes were an exchange. I talked to Eileen in customer service one evening and the very next day the Brooks were on my door step. Unbelievable!

You must know I love the Brooks Defyance 3 because I am ordering another pair. I do Jazzercise and it is a great shoe. The support and cushioning is the best I have found. I also work at a job that I am on my feet all of the time and I walk about 2 to 3 miles a day. I decided the shoe is so great I need another pair. Thank you so much for handling narrows! It is so difficult to find narrow width in athletic shoes. So far your service has been outstanding!

I have high arches and wear orthotic inserts. Brooks shoes always feel very comfortable and work well with my inserts. I do always have to order a full size up from my street shoe size (from my usual 6 1/2 to a 7 1/2 in the Brooks). I have been wearing Brooks for a few years and am always happy with them for my aerobics classes.

I have a small foot. So buying shoes is a challenge for me. The Brooks Defyance 3 hugs my heel nicely. That has been difficult to find. It supports the middle part of my foot while leaving plenty of room for my forefoot. I purchased these mainly for exercise (not running) and have been so happy with them that I wear them every day.

I really enjoy my Brooks!. I have to wear an AFO (ankle foot orthosis) in my shoe, and I am still able to find comfort with my sneakers. I needed to obtain a wide size and they are very comfortable. The colors blend together with all types of pants. Thank you Zappos!

I love Brooks shoes. I used to have severe heal pain from being on my feet so much at work. Once I started wearing Brooks my heal pain went away.

I bought these after returned a much cheaper pair of Asics. The quality is there, but I am having to break them in--bad blister on the back of my ankle. This might be just my changing feet--I've been having never-before problems with comfort. But the ankle support does seem rather high and stiff.

These are decent shoes, but I don't like them as well as my Brooks Ghost 3. I ordered the 8 AA, but they seem a little wide, really, for a narrow shoe. They are definitely too wide in the heel for me. Also, the back of the shoe comes up rather high on the foot. It rubs my achilles tendon and becomes somewhat uncomfortable on long walks.

I purchased these on the recommendation of a workout colleague. I needed a wide shoe with good support for aerobics. Unfortunately there isn\'t much to choose from in aerobics shoes in wide widths. This shoe is fine but not spectacular for my needs. It\'s well made and has good support. I suspect it would be good for running but it\'s a bit to wide in the heel base for easy side-to-side movements that are a staple in aerobics classes. I have to be very careful to ensure I am off of my heel when I move or I can easily trip over the side edge of this shoe.

Great fit! True to size. I am an avid runner and went to a shoe store where they fitted me for this shoe. I highly recommend it if you are a runner. Although not much arch support, it fits my feet great as I am somewhat flat footed.

Excellent shoes, these are the second identical pair I'm buying after wearing out the first pair.

Fantastic! Love them! The wide toe bed or floor of running shoe provides stability so your foot won't roll. I spent four days in Disney parks and my feet felt no discomfort. Great running shoe. Attractive colors. True to size.

I got these shoes within 2 days of ordering and they were immediately a comfortable and stable shoe. I went running in them right away, and in the first 4 weeks I put over 100 miles on them without ever getting a blister. They have a been a great purchase and I am already considering buying another pair for when these ones are worn out, just because they have been so great!

Needed 1/2 size larger. Zappos, of course, had them here the next day! Best service of any store. Shoes very comfortable for walking made a big difference in my 2 mid day walk.

I have been wearing the model since it first came out. I have high arches and a wider toe box. They worked great for me. No blisters or anything. I always order a 7 for regular shoes and a 7.5 on these.

These sneakers were recommended to me at a store devoted to properly fitting sneakers to ease back pain and ensure alignment. They made a huge difference for me! I did put in an orthotic insole for additional support.

Not quite enough cushioning to make this the perfect running shoe I was looking for, but due to its amazing support and stability it is the perfect cross training/aerobic shoe. Looks snazzy, too!
