These are beautiful boots! I love the soft leather. I did have to take them to a cobbler to get the calves stretched (my calves are pretty wide at 15") so they would fit over jeans, and now they fit perfectly. Also, the toe area is a tiny bit narrow, but I am hoping that it will stretch over time. I cannot wait to get the cognac pair next.

I got these for my wife for Christmas. When I had a glitch in the ordering process, a representative immediately took my phone call and fixed the problem. The boots shipped promptly, but it turned out that she needed a larger calf size to allow her to wear her pants leg under the boot. The exchange was handled very professionally and efficiently. And she loves her new boots!

My husband and boys purchased these as a Christmas gift for me. After thinking about the boots and their price tag for several seasons my husband was tired of hearing me say I shouldn't spend that much money on myself. Well, I was pleasantly surprised and happy that they purchased them for me. They are the best wearing and feeling boots I have ever owned and I have plenty of nice boots.Well worth every penny!

Love my boots! Fit like they where made for me. Ordered my regular size and glad I did! After reading reviewing and talking to Frye I went with extended calf even though my calves are fairly skinny. Their will allow me to tuck in leggings and wear thicker socks. Can't say enough but - love them!

My boyfriend bought these boots for me for Christmas and they were a little snug (they run a bit small) so I exchanged them for a half size bigger and they fit perfect. The exchange process was SO easy at Zappos. They literally sent me a brand new pair that arrived in two days, andI shipped back the old ones - and the process was completely seamless. Awesome customer service and loved the boots!

Have actually owned my Bordeaux pair for almost 2 years now, and they're the best. Looks, comfort, wearability fashion-wise, durability ... I am so happy with them. Just bought another pair, this time in Black. Got rid of barely worn pair of Charles David riding boots that were not very comfortable, and replaced them with these. Need to break them in a bit, but fully expect they'll be just as fantastic as first pair.

Purchased these last month in cognac, rugged. Beautiful coloring and weathered look. Inside leather very nice. Lots of complements. These are my 5th Frye boots and I always order 1/2 size down (I'm a 7.5 so ordered 7). Fit great - toe box on right foot was a bit tight at first, but only took two wearings to break them in. Super value at the sales price. These are my new favorites.

I ordered these and they're beautiful boots. Super soft leather and great craftsmanship on the souls. However I thought I had ordered the ones with the zipper in the back. So I may have to return these in order to get more wear out of them.

These boots are hands down the finest boots that I have ever owned. They cost a pretty penny, to be sure, but for quality like this? It makes sense. The leather is thick, supple, and smells heavenly. I do agree that the bottoms are a little slick, but as I wear them in that seems to be dissipating. The extended calf option made these boots possible. I would encourage any larger than a 6 lady who has shied away from buying fancy upscale boots to consider the fact that Frye loves us too! I am pretty sure that I will wear these until I die. Can I say that?

I'm 5'1 and this boot fits wonderful. It works so well because of the front and back slightly dips down. I do have large calves that measure 14" and 14.5" this boot is snug as glove. It works best with a supper fitted legging or supper skinny jean. They are worth every penny for sure!! Beautifully crafted and unique.
