Beautiful leather and well designed shoe. A little stiff at first and takes awhile to break in, but it's getting more comfortable with each wear. Wish there was more traction on the sole.

These are my new favorite boots!!!! Love the feel and look!!!

I was hesitant to order online as I run between a 7.5 and 8 and some boots are just too narrow for my foot. These fit perfectly, and we're comfortable right from the start.

These boots are supple and beautiful. Normally I would not spend this much money on a pair of shoes however these appear to be well made, comfortable and timeless. I hope to wear these for many years!

Calves run small. I've never had to get wide calves in any boot but these made me think I had wide calves. Great looking boot.

I love these boots. The leather is top quality as is the construction. They are comfortable and can be worn with everything. I waited a long time to get these because of the price but I can say they are wroth it and I would definitely buy another pair.

I purchased a pair of the Melissa Button in the brown antique wash…and fell in love. When the soft vintage black went on sale, I snagged them as well. Based on a few other reviews, I was expecting something maybe slightly more faded/matte/vintage. These to me look like standard black boots. That’s fine – but not quite what I was hoping for. That being said, they’ll be a good addition to my wardrobe. As with my other pair….as I pulled them on and off for the first time, highly tight and uncomfortable…especially getting my foot out. After several wears, I’m sure they will break in magnificently . I cannot tell any difference in fit between the two pairs. Consistency is good.

These boots are incredibly stylish, easy to clean, and versatile. Highly recommend

Technically, this boot is amazing. As with all Frye products, it's extremely well crafted and it's versatile. I can see why so many people like it. That being said, it's not for me. The style is much too plain, too "vanilla". Also the cut of the shaft and height of the shaft didn't work in particular for me. Glad that so many others like it, but it's not my style. I much prefer the Campus 14L boot.

This is my first pair of Frye boots. My regular shoe size of 7 1/2 was the correct size to order. At first they slipped in the heels a bit, but after wearing them a couple of times with socks this no longer happens. They were unbelievably comfortable from the start and continue to grow more comfortable with each wear!

I love these boots!! I've been looking for the past couple of months and finally found the perfect pair! I wear a size 7 and they are true to size and fit my leg perfectly! Love love love them!!

Good looking boot. I'm typically a 8.5 but went down a size because I felt like they were falling off when I walked. The calf circumference was perfect for me and I have skinner calves.

The Frye Melissa Button boot is best in class. The minute I put on these boots, my feet and legs were surrounded by solid, supple leather -- and my feet felt really good. The quality of the leather was outstanding, the color matched what I had ordered from the site -- and that I didn't have to pull and tug to get the boots over my calves (wearing light wool socks!) is pure joy - that was my test -- and these boots passed! These boots had the lower heel I wanted for daily wear which was a plus. I don't have to break them in either -- wow! These boots don't pinch my toes at all which is amazing for how narrow they make my feet look. The best part of my experience is I didn't have to drive from store to store, trying on boots I really don't like that don't really fit. These were the boots I wanted, they really fit, and they arrived within days of my ordering, standard ship so I didn't have to wait to long to enjoy wearing them. Happy Happy Happy with these boots!

My wife currently owns a pair of Frye Melissa Scrunch boots. The Melissa Button has a wider lower calf/ankle shaft, which left the boot lose. The quality is amazing, however the fit was not as expected.

These boots were so comfortable and perfectly sized in the width and calf for me (a bit wider than normal), I went back to buy them in more colors. Unfortunately the price went up by almost $100, so I may have to wait for a sale.
