I’ve had this shoe for years and wanted to replace it with a pair without wood stain decorations. Purchased my usual size 9.5 and they were too short. They were also stiffer and not as comfortable on my feet. Reordered in a size 10 and they are perfect AND as comfortable as my old ones. ????

Great sandals for active outdoor activities. Used my sandals for hiking on mountain and walking on rocks in the rivers.

I love the Teva Tirra sandals! This is my fourth pair. Having bought the first pair several years ago in a store, I discovered that the size I needed was a 6. (I usually wear a 6 1/2 or 7, so I was somewhat surprised.) And each time I order the sandals in a size 6, they are a perfect fit. I now have them in navy, tan and white. They are so comfortable that I am able to wear them all day the first time I put them on.

I wear these sandals to work cleaning horse stalls, gardening, mowing, to the coop to gather chicken eggs and many other chores. I love that I can spray them off with the hose.

The non skid spider rubber is only in the center of the sole and therefore the rim of the sole is extremely slippery. They are comfortable and attractive, but dangerous for a 77 yr old.

Love, love, love these sandals! This is my second pair, having first purchased the green ones at a local shoe store that specializes in people with foot issues. I have some serious bunions and flattening feet; these sandals are almost endlessly adjustable, really supportive for sandals, and come in loads of pretty colors. I’ve never worn this brand before, but since purchasing, I now have several pair in different styles. Highly recommended!

This is probably 4th pair of these sandals. All I can say is I wish I had kept all the old pairs, even though they were shabby. This latest pair is not the same as the last ones I bought 3 years ago. They are comfortable but took longer to break in than other pairs. The strap that goes across the ankles twists sometimes, which never happened before and worse, the threads on one of the straps is coming undone, after just a few months. I am on my way the the shoemaker to see what can be done. I have bad feet and Teva sandals have been the only things I wear on my feel as long as the weather permits. I hate to give up on them and may give them another chance, hoping that this particular pair was a fluke but I’m not sure I can afford to do that.

These are my 3rd Tirra sandals! Both my previous sandals have lasted about 5 years each nearly wearing them all the time half of the year. I've backpacked in them, too. (I hate having closed shoes when I'm hiking) So I got my 3rd pair about 4 months ago. First, they were a whole size smaller. Tirra used to run large (1st pair was a 10 & was too big, 2nd was a 9 & perfect). I'm normally a 9.5/10 size. Now I'm back to wearing a 9.5 & they are still much shorter than the 9s from before. I hated the material at 1st. It's recycled material & it's much harder (old 1s are squishy with good support). I was going to give them a 3 because of that. But they are forming to my feet now & the harder material does have some benefits (stability when hiking). I hope they keep forming to my feet & last as long as the others.

Hard insoles..not like original pair..dissatisfied with the comfort. I went back to wearing my old pair..waste of my hard earned money. Poor quality. Original version was better! Why change a good thing?

Loved these! Sad to send back because I have a low profile foot and the toe area was slightly too large even with the velcro strap.

length ok, but if I have to pull the front straps so far over that I run out of velcro-too wide, and they aren't very comfortable. I wish Teva would bring back their older ORIGINAL hurricanes and the ones that tighten on the inside of the foot. They had such great arch support and were great for walking. I have yet to find a Teva shoe as comfortable and that fit as well as their old designs.

Wide shoes are too wide, some mediums are too narrow, but, like Goldilocks, I found these just right. These are my 2nd pair of the Teva Tirra and I'm happy to have the black and white color with the woven texture; the pattern makes the outdoor style look a little dressier than my previous solid black ones (which I also love). I can walk and stand in them for long periods of time.
I'd also recommend:
Merrill, Ecco, Brooks

I like the color when I saw on line, it looks stunning but it is not as stunning when I got it. I still keep it to add to my color collection of this type of summer foot wear. The price should be lower, it's expensive even when it's off season already. If not of the color, I would not purchase it because it's very expensive.

Usually I use these to walk and hike. This summer I used them in place of a boot on my broken foot. I was so comfortable when wearing them, not so much when I took them off.

They seem to fit well and hopefully will also make it to 20+ countries, watermarks, hikes, and outings as my last pair. The mail in recycling if the old pair worked well to.

This sandal felt about a half size small, with my toes farther up on the sole than they should have been. The sole was very light and felt fairly supportive. The biggest issues were the smell (yuck!) and how loud and squeaky they were when I walked in them. Returning!

Comfortable. I even hiked in them for seven miles in a rocky (but not especially steep) terrain. My main summer sandals for long walks.

My second pair in the Tirra style. The Teva footbed is very supportive and comfortable, even for my extra high arches and instep. I have some trouble with the traditional "ring" style upper from Teva due to my high instep and sensitivity. Tirra holds my foot stable with enough velcro adjustments to make it customizable to the foot. Love it!

I had surgery on one of my toes, so I needed a supportive sandal during recovery. I also wanted something that I would still enjoy wearing once I’ve healed. These are PERFECT.
