These shoes have great support for my plantar fasciitis, and were very comfortable as soon as I put them on. I had to get used to the higher than normal ankle strap, but that is not a problem now. The problem I have with this shoe is that the footbed does not allow my feet to breathe at all and after a few hours of wear, my feet and the shoe smell really bad. I do not normally have a problem with foot odor, either in regular shoes or in flip flops, but there is a serious problem with these shoes. I now powder my feet and the shoes before wear, and that helps, but after a few hours, the problem returns. I do not usually write reviews, but felt that this problem warranted one. It's too bad, because I love the shoe's look and comfort.

Adjustable straps provide a perfect fit. Wearing this shoe is more comfortable than going barefoot. I want another pair in a different color.

Wonderfully adjustable but not bulky - only problem is with the strap which goes across the ankle where the foot bends, so that you may end up adjusting it to very loose. The strap location makes the sandals a bit uncomfortable for driving. Shock absorber in heel, footpad are perfect for my wide feet. If these get dusty or dirty you can just wash them.

These are the best sandals I have owned. They rubbed the top of my feet for the first two days but that stopped once I broke them in. they are extremely comfortable and light weight. I went berry picking yesterday and they worked great walking through the tall grass and over some vines. keeping the feeling of walking barefoot with out all the pain. they are a great color too. I wear them around town and hiking. I love them also because I can wear them in the water and they don't get uncomfortable when wet. great shoe all around. they will be my sandals for the rest of the summer and next year I am sure.

I have arthritis in my right foot and have high arches. The Teva Tirra is perfect for comfort for my feet. I do not have to wear the orthotics inserts when I wear my Teva Tirra. I love them.

Tirra Teva provides me with just-right arch support and a supple, rockered sole. It is the only sandle design I have found that permits the calcified joints in my arthritic foot/ankle to articulate without pain. I am thrilled!

Fabulous sandal. Fantastic arch support. In every sandal that I tried I limped because I have an injured ankle. I walk like a champ in this sandal. I need a wide but the ability to adjust this sandal makes it work for wide with no problem. Why doesn't Teva have a wide in their other shoes. I would be in heaven.

Easy to get off and on when kayaking and don't slip around on your feet when they are wet

I purchased my first pair of Tirra by Teva shoes about 4 months ago. I have a very wide foot and could "NEVER" find cute sandals that would not cause blisters in the first hours of wearing them. Your shoes give me a custom fit, look so girly cute on my big "Fred Flinstone" foot and NEVER a blister.
I am sure that I will end up with all of your colors of TEVA before I am done. (I ordered three pair the last time)
I love them, Randi

The only complained I have was that I tried to buy my size at the stores at the mall and they didn't have my size. I wear a 9 1/2.

I used it while camping and put them on as soon as I left the tent and took them off when I went to sleep. They are very comfortable!
The sandals did not dry that quick after they had a shower. I guess it did not help it rained all night.
The fabric of the end of the straps were not glued properly to the plastic, so I had to put on some glue and then it was fine. It wasn't enough reason to send them back as I loved walking in them.

Nice sandal, good support, a sole which doesn't slip, and you know it will go through weather and water if needed.

Super comfortable. Great for hiking along the shore or running errands. Nothing rubs even after long walks.

This shoe is awesome! It is so comfortable and supportive and is perfect for walking and light hiking all day. I bought them for a trip to Mexico and went straight from hiking to jumping into water. They also were perfect for walking around Yellowstone and the Tetons.

I live in florida, so any pretty shoe that can get wet in the surf and/or rain, kayaking, and stay on your foot and looks good is great!

Good sandal, but it didn't work out for me. I like the adjustability, but the sole is very stiff which made the ankle strap pull and chafe when walking. Good padding on the sole and the straps were otherwise comfortable. I ended up going with the Keen La Paz sandal instead - not as much cushioning in the sole (and narrower in the forefoot), but very comfortable and flexible.

I really wanted to like these sandals because they are really cute and very versatile. However, they are just extremely uncomfortable for me. The back strap rubed on my achilles tendon really hard and caused some deep bruising before I even realized it. It actually prevented me from hiking normally the rest of my trip out West after I wore it for a day walking around town. I do not recommend it for people who have sensitive feet or sensitive skin. I also got blisters in a variety of other locations where the hard material rubbed on my food.

These are wonderful. I ordered them at the last minute for a trip down to Quintana Roo and Yucatan. I live in northern Ca where our summers are chilly. As soon as I arrived the hot weather in Mexico made my feet swell and these are all I could wear. I went to Tulum (super hot) and Coba(downpour)and they were comfortable and cleaned up easily. I wore them everyday and still wear them on the weekend, berry picking one day and hiking the next. I got them in orange and love them; cute with skirts.BTW....I've worn chacos, keen and merrills(SP/) and love these the most.

This sandal is fine but the other one I ordered (with the more classic Teva syling) was not comfortable and I returned it, requesting that it be exchanged for a pair of red "Tirra". I have not received the exchanged pair nor any e-mail notices. Please check and let me know when to expect them (If you can--or can you forward my note to the proper people to expedite?

Like these sandals a lot! They were comfortable right out of the box. Pretty lightweight compared to the Tevas I've had in the past. I normally wear 9 1/2 shoe or sometimes even a 10 in a heeled pump or dress shoe, but I ordered the 8 1/2 and I'm glad I did as they fit perfect. But I don't like a lot of "extra" hanging over the front of my toe on sandals so I like the fit. I guess what I'm saying they run big. But very happy with them - I've had them about a month now.
