The problem was with the left shoe. The straps around the toes. appeared shorter and I wasn’t able to cover the Velcro so it didn’t look right. I have bought this style before didn’t have the problem..

The fit was good with the exception of the strap over the heel-too big and rubbed against my heel=pain!

Got these for travel and really appreciated the arch supportthat's what I was after. After extended wear, though, the back strap started rubbing and gave me a blister. I added a heel patch, but the pressure was still uncomfortable. If the back strap were adjustable, it would help a lot. Style-wise, they're not the most fashionable, but I chose comfort over looks.

I bought these to replace an older pair, but on these the straps are too short because of my bunions. The older pair the straps are long enough, but these straps are noticeably shorter than the older pair, so I had to return them.

I like Teva sport sandals, I have a pair over 12 years old and was hoping to replace them. But the ankle strap on these does not sit well. Unfortunately I need to return them. Its the angle of the ankle strap that is different. I hope they change it as its just too awkard across the top of my ankle.

I use it for daily walking. I have bought these for years but this year the fit is different. It is higher in the heal and so it rubs and irritates. If I am very careful and make it a little looser than I would normally have it, it is better and I think will be usable. I thought about returning them but I had already worn them several times outside and assumed I could no longer do so.

Be careful with these sandals. I sprained my foot in them walking around my neighborhood.

These shoes i found very hard to break in. Used mole skin for a while and still adjusting straps. But I am sure I will like them in a month or two.

I bought a pair about 10 years ago that I absolutely loved. They were beginning to show wear so I purchased a new pair this year. I wasn't thrilled with the colors available. I would much prefer to have a dark tan instead of the light tan/beige color offered this year. They fit fine but they are not as comfortable as my old pair as the heel strap rubs a bit.

The Tirra hiking sandal is the type of sandal I have worn for 20 years (got my first pair when Teva came out with them). However, the latest version is slightly different in a major way. If you look closely at the picture, you'll see that the back heel strap sits well inside the outermost part of the heel of the foot bed. In other words, your foot will not sit where it should, but will be pushed toward the front of the foot bed heel. The original Tirra understood the shape of the human heel. What happened? I returned "my size" and ordered a full size bigger (i.e., longer). My big toe just fits inside the front of the foot bed, and all the straps are looser to avoid rubbing anywhere on the foot. I could actually have gotten 1.5 sizes larger. I ordered a 7.5, returned pair, ordered 8.5. Other than that, the sandal itself if fabulous, rugged, waterproof, with sturdy hook-and-loop closure.

I have bought Teva Terra in the past. I have a narrow heal & the Teva Terra has alway fit comfortably because of the velcro straps. For some reason the pair I'm returning were uncomfortable in the heal area. Not sure if this a one off but I will try another pair.

They fit fine. The odd thing was that when I adjusted the velcro straps, it seemed the straps were too short. There was only 1/2 inch of velcro to hold the strap in place that fit across the top of my foot.

Pretty sandals that fit fine but the sole of the shoe is just not soft enough so I returned them. Also they say I can only exchange them which I don't understand at all! I bought them through Facebook and there was no warning that I couldn't get a refund if I was dissatisfied with them.

I really wanted to like these fitness sandals-great style; however, the ankle bands rubbed the bone in the most uncomfortable way! Adjusted the bands several times, but could not get the band to stop rubbing. I had to return.

Overall it's a good sandal. I have purchased Teva sandals before and they have fit well and been comfortable. On the pair I ordered the front strap on the ankle sits too high making them uncomfortable for long stretches.

This about the 4th pair of this style Teva I have worn and admittedly my right toe box is an issue, but I have never before had a blister after first wear.

My trusty Tirra that have traveled the world started to die...so i bought some new ones. Disappointed to find the sole in the center of the shoe is now a hard plastic..instead of a softer rubberized sole. This isnt great for absorbing impact on hard ground. It creates little pressure points. I can see why others have commented about the thin straps around the ankle. I know like many companies Teva will be always looking to trim costs a create sustainable products....to be competitive. But i think they devalued the quality of what was a supremely excellent sandal.

I wear 9.5 or 10 and 9.5 was the best fit. Unfortunately they rubbed in the back of my heel so I had to return.

The shoe is good quality, and I love the color (s). I am returning because the upper ankle strap is high on my ankle and is uncomfortable. I may try another Teva style.

When these get wet the straps stretch out and the footbed becomes slippery so that it's impossible to make any purchase traction-wise. Slip sliding away. Also, very little arch support.

These sandals were too bulky and ran a bit large, so I got a blister on my right heel with minimal walking in them. Also, they made my feet sweat. Appreciate the gracious return policy !

I wanted to love them, but they just didn't fit as comfortably as I needed for an upcoming trip. It fit true to size, but the straps were not hitting right for me.

I've been a fan of this sandal for years, but this year's sandal has flimsy ties. I doubt it's as durable
