These sandals work so well for my wide-ish feet. They have a great cushion, while maintaining a supportive arch and foot bed. The adjustability-factor is key so they can fit a wide-variety of foot-widths and for when your feet swell in the heat, they maintain their comfort. They have the fit, security, support and stability of a sneaker but with much better ventilation! Very comfortable. Highly recommend!

I bought these for a trip to the Amazon and Galapagos where I figure I will be in a lot of wet/water. I was desperate to love these. The adjustments in the front made them real nice for my wide feet. It was the strap over the ankle/instep that did me it. It doesn't reach forward to go over the instep, it cuts directly across where the foot bends and the tendon there is in constant battle with it. It left my instep numb and there was no place to adjust it that worked. Tight enough for non-flexed foot was too tight for a flexed foot, etc. Walking, which includes constant flexing, even when under no stress, like walking around the house was just impossible for me. Back they went.

I needed a pair of good water shoes for a summer vacation. These sandals are so comfortable, but they look much cuter online. In person the ankle strap is very bulky and the mid straps are also larger than I expected - not flattering at all. I wear a 10.5 and can usually get away with a 10, so ordered a 10 and 11. The 10 was definitely too small and the 11 was too large, but I could see how comfortable they were. It baffles me that a company making active outdoor shoes would not make half sizes after a size 9.5. The fit is critical to the performance - at this price point they need to fit properly and be at least moderately good looking, since these are neither they are going back.

I love these and that is a rare thing for me and shoes. The arch support good, they are cute, and lots of adjustments are possible. I now have two colors, the coral ones are pretty feminine looking.

Super comfortable! I can walk all day in these. Excellent grip on the bottom. For a tall person, the arch is in the right place for true size 11. Purple is not too dark; I'd call it grape color. Love this shoe!

I have had surgery for plantar fasciitis and was seriously wondering what shoes I would be able to wear this summer. All winter long I wear Danskos, but knew that wouldn't work in warm weather. I have spent hundreds of dollars on different tennis shoes and sandals trying to find a pair that wouldn't make my feet hurt within 5 minutes. I am so happy with these shoes that I have three different colors!

I wear either a size 8.5 or 9 in various brands. In this sandal, the 8.5 works perfectly. So if you're like me, order your smaller size. The chocolate color of this sandal is actually closer to burgundy. It's a brownish burgundy. I took a photo but just realized that Zappos doesn't allow us to post photos. Well, pshaw! The "chocolate" color is actually a burgundy/purple with brown undertones. This sandal has exceptional arch support. The entire footbed is firmly supported. The ankle and toe straps make it customizable for almost anyone. I wore these on a two-week European tour and never suffered so much as a blister or a hot spot. I can walk and bike in these easily. This is a great sandal.

Just took these out of the box - wearing them in the house - super comfortable. In the past few years I've developed a "neuroma" in one foot and intermittent plantar fasciitis. Last week I was walking on the beach in flip flops (cushiony Sanuk Yoga Mat Ones) - they are pretty good except that in the surf the suction was pulling the straps against my foot and I ended up with a pretty serious abrasion - plus, they have no real support. I decided I needed a good water safe sandal that would allow me to take long beach/surf walks. After reading all the reviews, decided on this Teva Tirra model - never owned Tevas before except for a pair of flip-flops. These are great - Heeding what others wrote, I decided to order two sizes since some people said it ran large. I typically wear a size eight but my feet are on the narrow side. I ordered the 8.0 and the 7.5. I am keeping the 7.5. Surprisingly, the 8.0 was a lot longer on one foot and not on the other but the 8.0's were also quite wide and there was a lot of shoe visible around my foot. The 7.5 fit much better. I ordered the black and gray with a bit of purple trim. I may also get the taupe ones which would look nice with all the khaki and white I like to wear in the summer. These sandals are not overly clunky - my husband likes them on me. I'm not a tree hugger type of dresser - but I bought these for comfort. I hear that Birkenstocks are again the rage this year (per the Today Show today) so hopefully the clunky look is again "in."

These are great sandals! This is my second pair. I wear an 8 1/2 AA, and even with a narrow foot they fit fine. There is just enough Velcro adjustment in the toe area to snug in for a narrow foot. The footbed provides good arch support. There is no fabric on the footbed so they can get wet and will dry. The back strap has nice soft cushion on it. Really good sandals.

Finally! A sandal that I can walk in and my feet feel great all day. I am so picky about my feet and fussy about how a sandal looks and feels, and was looking for a pair of sandals to walk in Italy in August with. I kept going back-and-forth with Zappos and finally found this pair and I couldn't be happier. I've never had a pair of sandals that I could walk with a 4-5 miles or more and not have any problems with my feet, or hips or back. In fact I'm ordering a second pair today!. If you have wide feet and sore feet and high arches, then these are your sandals. I love that they can be adjusted for width so if your feet are swollen at the end of the day, you can loosen the straps. They don't look big and clunky either. They are cushy and the foot bed makes you step properly. I an in love! I am a 53 year old 225 pound active walker/bike rider and these sandals are my dream sandals.

Very nice sandal. The straps are padded so there is no bare leather rubbing. They are adjustable enough to really fit them to your feet. The arch support is excellent, as is the heel cup. They have a nice look - sporty but nice enough to wear someplace nice.

I have a pair of these sandals I love and got these for my daughter (she has Down syndrome and one thing she needs is good arch support). She needed a pair of sandals that could take the heat and water during our Oklahoma summers and on our camping trips. The straps adjust enough to accommodate her wider foot but keep snug enough to give good support. Cute sandals, comfortable for all day wear. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting a cute, sporty sandal.

I love these shoes! Great support with amazing comfort and the bonus of being river shoes. These are my first pair of Teva's and dare I say they are more comfortable than my Keens?! I'll definitely be back for more!

I just got back from vacation where I wore these all the time. The heel and toe are straps are adjustable for a customized fit. They have the best arch support of any sandal I've ever worn. The sole is sturdy and thick to protect the foot and keep you going. And they look good with shorts, pants, skirts or dresses. Teva gets an A+ for these.

I've tried a few of these types of shoes including another Teva but they hurt my feet and gave me blisters. These are different. The foot bed feels wonderful, the various straps make it so I am able to fit the shoes to my feet. Overall a great success!

While I have worn Teva sandals for many years, this is the first model that is very uncomfortable. I wore it one day and found it very uncomfortable as the strap comes up so high on the ankle that it presses on the ankle bone and rubs it raw. It is the way the shoe was constructed and probably for some people it isn't a problem, but it certainly was for me, so it is going back. Which is too bad, as it is a cute shoe.

I am very happy with this sandal now that I've had a couple weeks to break them in. At first, the straps hurt the top of my foot, but I loosened them a bit and have kept walking in them. They are comfortable now and great for being outdoors. I love that they can get wet and that they feel secure for hikes. I also like the look.

I have owned other Teva's and these do not disappoint. I even bought one for my boyfriend. These are great for the beach, hiking, crossing streams, walking and any casual affair.

I always wanted a pair of Tevas, but have flat feet and need some arch support. This newer model Teva has marvelous support. The first pair I tried let me walk and hike all day without my feet hurting. I now have 4 pairs of them! They are very comfortable and the velcro closures make it easy to 'latch' them firmly on your feet.
