Just wish straps weren't so very long

The newest pair doesn't fit the same as older ones. They've shortened the straps so not as much available for those of us with higher insteps. Either have to wear too tight or the Velcro doesn't stick well as not enough.
Sad to see they've done this on such a high quality and not cheap sandal.

For some reason this Tirra model's arch for the light blue straps on beige sole is less firm and less pronounced than models I've bought in other colors (salmon+red straps with dark grey sole & patterned army green with pale pink accents on dark grey sole). Its seems like the arch support height was reduced/flattened more. This was a huge disappointment as this is needed with my 100% flat and very wide feet with plantar fascitis and over pronation. But since it was on sale and I really did like the colors, I kept them but would not feel as confident hiking/walking comfortably long distances of about 20K steps or 10 miles in them as I've done with previous models.

They are comfortable and fit well EXCEPT there is no strap adjustment on the heel so the strap kept sliding up and down when I walk. I am an 11 B.

I have an older pair of this style. I was hoping this newer style would have a bit more cushion and/or arch support. It is not bad, but I feel my older pair are better so I sent these back.

I'm very pleased with these Teva Tirra sandals. Tevas have always been my best-fit shoe. I love that I can adjust multiple straps for a perfect fit.

Overall I love these sandals, which is why I bought a second pair when my first finally fell apart. Imagine my surprise when the sandals that arrived were too small despite being the same listed size as the old pair! (It's not that my feet grew - I measured the sandals themselves and the new ones were smaller.) However, I was pretty easily able to exchange them for a half-size bigger which fit perfectly and I am happy with them now.

I had to buy a 1/2 size larger as the heel strap pushes my foot forward. I usually wear an 8 1/2 in sandals/open toed shoes and a 9 in closed toe. No problem returning the 8 1/2 I had first ordered. Great customer service!

Great for use in water.. Sole bed is too hard and does not bend at all...Top velcro narrow bands cause blisters on pinky toes. Maybe too narrow or material not soft enough on inside.. However easy to rinse off and dries quickly. Sand does stick in velcro but with force spray can get most of it out.. I would recommend with warnings about material stiffness..

I loved the feel of the sole but the ankle strap hit at a weird spot and was annoying. I wish it didn't because other than that they were great.

The high arch support was the best of any sandal I have tried. It would be nice if the Velcro straps were a bit shorter. I have a narrow foot and the excess strap is bothersome.

They are nice sandals. Good looking for work or a day outdoors. They have a good sole and feel sturdy, but I was hoping for better arch support.

I wish the straps across ankle area were a little longer so less exposed Velcro that snags on pant materials

Comfortable. But the size change in last 6(?) years is a little strange. I used to wear 7 Teva but now 7 is too small and the 7.5 is really long in comparison. Style otherwise is great (Tirra). Haven't fallen on my face yet.

I would still have my sandals from 10+ years ago had my 5 month old puppy not chewed them to shreds! My feel are very wide, these are the only walking sandals that work for my feet. The beaches here in the greater Seattle area have oysters and sharp rocks and things. These are perfect for PNW beach days. My only complaint is there should be a wider sole for my very wide foot. 10.5 EE at least for women with very wide feet. There's a lot of us out there too!!! I have to have the velcro strap as loose as it will go.

I would not buy this particular style again. The side ankle strap is too high for my ankle. (Not you fault) I thought it would not come as high to my bone as it does. I have worn them but am a little uncomfortable doing so. Maybe after wearing them a few times, they will feel better. I like Teva products very much. I just wish I had purchased one with a lower strap. Thanks!

I've had three pairs as I find them to be very comfortable and protective. I'm curious about the life expectancy. My latest pair just fell apart (toe strap pulled out of the sole on both sides of one sandal). I've had them for eighteen months, wearing them about once a week for salt water kayaking. I wear them during loading and unloading and maybe a beach walk, but mostly I'm sitting in my boat. I rinse them clean every use and never store them in a hot vehicle or leave them in the sun.
If the webbing was a continuous strap running through the sole this wouldn't have occurred. Also, that same forefoot strap is always a little loose on my lower volume foot. The adjustability is good but limited.

Nothing against the brand, but now that I've worn them, I feel I ordered a size too big. I'm afraid I'll catch the end of the shoe since it's too long. I have a very narrow foot and the Velcro closures on Tevas help to strap shoes on my feet. Some pair fit better than other pairs.

I'm on my feet every day and walk miles at my job in retail. I have a inflamed metatarsal node in my foot. Rather than wearing the prescribed 'boot' , I strap my foot into my Teva Tirra and walk carefully not to bend my toe. My foot is healing. My only complaint is that the straps are too long and hang out awkwardly. Not everyone has super thick feet. I wish the Velcro didn't get gunned up so easily also. All in all, I will keep buying Teva sandles. I would like to see one with a thicker soft foot bed engineered for walking and standing longer hours at work.

I like this model a lot, but I could use longer straps for the ball of my feet. My feet are quite wide (E) with a high instep, and the sole seems fine, but the Velcro straps don't have a lot to grab onto. Regardless, they aren't coming undone as I walk, so the straps seem adequate.
