I have been a Teva wearer for 20 years and wouldn't buy any other sandals, but these are the best I have ever owned. Whatever they made the footbed out of is somehow incredibly soft-feeling while still being very secure and supportive. I can walk or stand all day and my feet still don't hurt. The straps are cushioned with neoprene and there is absolutely zero chafing. And as a great bonus, these look a lot more stylish than "standard" Tevas...they are definitely women's shoes. They aren't "girly" but I can wear them with a skirt and it doesn't look out of place at all. I like these so much that I just went online to buy two more pairs exactly like the first. I want to be sure I'm covered if Teva ever stops making them. I have worn these sandals on hiking trails, in cities, on a canoe trip and on dive boats. I will live in them from Spring to fall until I wear out all three pairs.

These are the best fitting sandals or shoes I have ever had. I bought them for paddling standup paddle board and outrigger canoe. I need lots of support and they give it. I wish Teva made more stylish shoes and sandals to wear to work.

This is my second pair of these crazy comfortable sandals. They are completely adjustable for a custom fit. They are secure around the ankle and have enough room in the ball of the foot for my bunions! Yea Teva!

These sandals are fabulous. They fit my normally 'hard-to-fit' feet perfectly. I have a bunion on my left foot and this makes shoe-purchasing difficult. Plus I am supposed to wear shoes that don't have too much flex in the sole. These have just enough to feel light and springy, but still supportive. These sandals do well in water; I used them in Kauai when I was snorkeling! And I love the way they look. Not to mention Zappos' awesome customer service. I ordered them on Friday and they arrived Tuesday (would have been Monday, but it was Labor Day).

These are the best sandals I own. They are very comfortable and most of all, supportive. I bought one pair and loved them so much that I ordered another pair in case they discontinue the style.

I have really bad feet (that's what I get for going barefoot most of my life!), so I now need shoes with good support in them. These were extremely comfortable and had enough of an arch to relieve my aching tootsies. They feel really secure on your foot, too.

These are terrific sandals! They are wider than most (excellent for my flat feet!), the back straps do not rub or cause any friction, and everything is adjustable. No irritating strap between the toes. Great for beach and salt water wear. Has pretty good traction for hiking, and the first day I wore it for 10 hours without the least soreness anywhere on my feet. Everyone\'s feet are different, of course, but for a wide foot, these are the best Teva sandals you can get. I have not had success with the other Tevas, which my friends who have more narrow feet absolutely love.

I bought these shoes, along with another pair of sports sandals, for a trip to England. I alternated between them, using the Tirra when I wanted something a bit dressier. They were wonderful. I really like that I could adjust at the ankle and the foot. There are complaints about the ankle strap being too high and uncomfortable, which is true, but that is easily fixed by loosening it up a bit. At the foot, I could I adjust as needed. I have a bunion on my left foot, so I loosened that side up more. No discomfort whatsoever. My husband and kids were complaining about their feet and legs after walking around London all day (including cobblestones and over 500 steps up to the dome of St. Paul's Cathedral), but I just gloated about how good my feet felt. I chose grape, and it was a good choice for me. It gave a bit of color, without being too bright.

This shoe has been my go-to shoe this summer. I forget I have them on. Great for foot issues & sensitive feet! Straps hit at just the right spots. I usually wear a 9 1/2, but followed the advice of others and ordered a 9. Works great.

Just what I wanted in a hot, tropical climate for every day wear. They are comfortable from the first time you put them on and have excellent arch support. Love the design better for weekend hikes than my old Teva's with one strap across the toes and one strap from the ankle to the toe strap. Feels sturdier-less slipping around of my foot.

A brilliant design. The most comfortable, flexible, secure, yet stylish sandal I've ever worn. Thin slanting straps make it look stylish and slenderizing. Placement and angle of straps allow for slight differences in left and right foot sizes, as well as temporary changes caused by swelling. Placement and secure attachment of ankle strap makes these sandals stable and very safe to wear. Even on uneven ground, you don't trip. Finally, whatever they did to the soles, makes walking a joyful experience. You can walk for hours, feel buoyant, and your feet never get tired.

My main issue with any shoe is arch support and these have that! They are also comfortable and sporty and perfect for my active South Florida life style. They did feel about a half size too large, so I had to send my usual size 9 back for an 8.5.

What I look for in a shoe is fit, style, color. I have bunions and wider feet. These shoes fit perfect cause you can adjust them to your personal taste. The strap around the ankle took a day to get used to. (felt a little weird at first). But, completely normal after the first day. I wear these shoes almost everyday! My feet feel great at the end of the day. Go for it!

Finally I have found a sandal that does not flare up my plantar fasciitis! I just returned from a family vacation and these fit the bill perfectly. I wore them out to dinner with a long casual dress, at the water park, walking and kayaking. They were built for the water but were comfortable enough for me to walk in and I think they are cute! Thanks Zappos for the dependable service in a flash. I chose them in my regular shoe size. That way the arch was in perfect position for my foot. There was a little extra room above the toes but no rub spots. I love these shoes. It is also worth mentioning that they have a nice cushioning under the foot so the ground does not feel hard.

I have a heel spur and walking makes it hurt more. When i found these sandals i was skeptical about buying online without trying them on, but the reviews helped me! They are so comfortable, i just wish that i could wear them to work! I don't know what i would do without them, i'll cry come winter time.

Terrific sandals! I'd seen them in a shoe catalog and fell in love with them, but ordered from Zappos because of the free shipping and great service. I received the sandals in less than a week (!), immediately put them on and wore them all day. The fit is great, and I speak as one with a small foot who usually finds this type of sandal much too large and bulky. (I do agree with the reviewers who recommend ordering a half-size down.) I do a lot of walking and the Teva Tirra sandals keep my feet comfortable and cool no matter how long I wear them. The color is fun, and I've received a number of compliments on my sandals. Highly recommended (as is Zappos service).

Easy Stride and Naturalizer are also very good; however, Bass is my favorite.

I love these sandals. I have hardly taken them off all summer. They are great in the water (they don\'t slip on wet surfaces either), hiking trails, or just out and about. I like the two straps that let you adjust the width.\r\n\r\n

These shoes were comfy from the first moment I put them on. I have used them for everyday walking, long walks, hikes, and river fun. They have excellent soles for going up and down inclines. I do feel they ran 1/2 size large- I purchased a 1/2 smaller size and they fit perfectly (I’m very glad they come in ½ sizes!). I like that the straps are all easily adjustable and the insole feels so good.

Love these shoes! In my eternal search for the perfect shoe, these have come closest. I have plantar fasciitis, but I can wear these all day without my orthotic inserts - all day teaching on concrete floors. And the students think I am cool because I wear cool shoes. I have them in every color. In the winter, I wear Teva Dozers. My friends have also jumped on the Teva bandwagon. These shoes hold your foot steady in the footbed. They are adjustable all over. And the tread keeps you safe. Love Zappos' easy return policy!
