This is my third pair of Tirra sandals, and I’ve had other Teva shoes in the past too. They fit well and are comfortable. My feet are average but wider at the front and I do have a bunion on the right foot and these are not problematic in fit. However this time around I’ve noticed they do not take the all day wearing as previous pairs without my feet getting very sweaty. I think it’s the surface of the footbed being plastic that is causing it - even though they’re sandals the surface is not breathable. I don’t remember having this problem in the past they were always worn outdoors in summer, yard work, hiking etc. I am working long hours now every day and it’s just not working.

I wear a 10 to 10.5 wide or double wide depending. These sandals, which I had high hopes for since they are adjustable everywhere, were not wide enough. Tight across my mid foot, and the ankle strap needs another 2 inches to close. If a person has wide feet, most likely their ankle will be large too. It's too bad Teva, & many footwear companies don't make true wide footwear. Wide feet matter.

This is a very nice looking shoe. The taupe color was nicea nd it was comfortable, but for me the cross strap from ankle to ankle was too high. My foot felt like it was being strangled. I am returning this pair and will try a different sandal.

The shoes squeak a lot and some of the velcro does not fit properly and rubs on the top of the foot causing discomfort.

The straps over the toes felt sharp, rough and unforgiving and would not soften over time.

I chose this style based upon the number of positive reviews. I owned a pair of Tevas many years ago, loved them so much that I wore them until they literally rotted out. Of course that style is no longer made, so I tried these. I was really let down. Expecting to have super soft, super comfortable straps like my others, these really fell short. I could tell without walking very much that the straps were going to rub and cause me a blister. I have the hardest time finding walking sandals that DON'T rub somewhere and cause me a blister. So back they go!

I normally wear 10W in closed shoes (Clark) but usually wear 9.5W in sandals which is what I ordered. I couldn't keep because the middle strap barely touched enough Velcro to stay fastened. Cute but couldn't keep. Thank you for letting me try!

These Teva Tirras looked amazing on my warped feet! The straps accommodated my blessed bunions perfectly--making my feet look normal! However each step brought a "pinch-pinch-pinch" irritating the ball of my left foot. The grooving on the soles of the sandal would pinch as I walked. I tried over several days to see if this was just a "new sandal" thing, but alas--I could never shake the irritation. So, sadly, back they go. Sigh....Will keep trying...

This shoe fit well with the ability to adjust the front in two places, but after wearing while sitting for about an hour my feet started to get hot which makes no sense for a sandal. Then when I got up and walked down the hall I was very award of the straps. I tried making them looser, but then my heel moved around too much. I just couldn't get them tight enough while not feeling like the straps were going to irritate me. Also, the shoes felt a bit heavy to be wearing for summer.

Wanted to love these. The foot bed is definitely very comfortable and I could see myself walking around for hours without any issue. However, my feet kept sliding forward strangely. I almost always wear a size 9 and my toes kept sliding towards the edge of the sandal awkwardly. I could also feel the top bands rubbing against the inner side of my feet. Huge fan of Tevas but these did not make the cut unfortunately.

I really like the style. Unfortunately they are wide and do not allow for arch support for me. Great sole and well made. Sorry to return.

I ordered these to replace an old, worn out pair. The new pair look the same, but are at least a full size smaller. The old pair's size label says US 8.5, UK 7. The new pair says US 8.5, UK 6.5. I also ordered a size 9 and even they are too short. I will be ordering a 9.5 and hope they will fit because these are my favorite sandals.

I have a VERY low instep and bony feet overall, so the Velcro makes it somewhat tighter, but of course EVERYTHING is made for fat feet nowadays, so the Velcro is really too long/doesn't tighten enough, so my foot flops around. And, the insides of all the straps irritate and blister the skin on my feet terribly, as does the insole. I don't get it, the insole LOOKS so comfortable! But I don't have much fat padding under my feet. The remedy so far is to wear socks with them, which I know looks *terribly* dorky. The length and width are just fine. I bought them while on vacation because my *other* sandals were hurting my feet, and then I had to go buy socks to wear them with!

I gave 3 stars because the strap that goes around the heel is too low. Also, I didn't care for the loop that is on the strap that goes around the ankle.

I was looking for a comfortable walking sandal and have ordered two so I could compare them. I am returning Teva Tirra and keeping Ecco Sport Offroad Lite 2. Teva is a lot less expensive but I also found it less comfortable. The strap at the ankle is bothersome and the cushioning of the sandal is far less then the Ecco.

I got these in Simply Taupe: beware the color is VERY different from what shown online (in real life it is a dirty earth-y color and not a light beige as shown online). Besides the different esthetics, the 3 straps are very handy to make sure the sandals fit just right. Unfortunately the material this show is made of makes it uncomfortable for the hot, humid weather of Atlanta and any amount of walking: my feet ending up sweating a lot in these and the bottom becomes quickly uncomfortable. I have never had this problem with any other shoe made either of natural or not material. The inside is indeed made of a soft, textured rubbery material which to me was the equivalent of wearing a cheap viscose top in summer: sweat and it will become quickly sticky in there.

These are very comfortable but didn't fit my feet right. I have narrow ankles and they slide around in the heel. The strap around the ankle sits a little too high on my foot, so I can't tighten it more to compensate. They are well made though, are really comfortable despite the bad fit on me, and I think the color (I got the flintstone) is really cute.

I do like the comfort of this shoe, I like the way it looks. My complaints are: my feet get sweaty in this shoe, dirt and sweat get locked in those ridges where your feet sit, also after using them for a month there is wear and tear in the shoe which makes me think they are not going to last for a long time.

The shoe is almost perfect but the strap that goes across my arch hurts! It is not made of one smooth piece of fabric. The edge of the doubled section digs in to my skin.

I’ve been wearing this particular sandal for years and love them. I buy maybe 1 or 2 pairs a year. Bought this pair (Red) a year ago in 2024 and didn’t wear as much cuz I had an older pair so was only wearing the new pair occasionally. I noticed it had a different fit and rubbed against my outside right ankle bone BUT didn’t return. BIG MISTAKE! When Teva’s good they’re good BUT sometimes Terra’s do come with defects and I really regret suspending my disbelief and not returning right away. Too late now. I urge you to return your Teva’s even if there’s a hint of something wrong—either with fit or a strap! Will have to bring to shoe repair to see what they can do.
