Loved these right out of the box. I do a lot of walking and am always in need of good supportive sandals since I live in Florida. The straps are adjustable for a perfect fit. I walked over five miles without breaking them in, and they felt good all day. No blisters, no soreness or irritation anywhere. I don't know what took me so long to try these, but I plan to buy a second pair already.

I love my new Teva Tirra sandals. They are so comfortable and beautifully made, with real support. This is a whole new experience compared to other sandals that I have worn. Thanks to a long-time friend for the recommendation.

Fit was just a bit bigger than I expected, but a half-size down was too small. When I first put these on, I LOVED how they felt on a my feet. I do a lot of walking, especially on the weekends, and my old Tevas are finally giving up the ghost. I did a couple of short walks in these and absolutely loved them; however, when I went on my longer walks, I got WICKED blisters on the side of my heel, both feet (and I'm not prone to blisters). I tried every possible strap position to try to reduce the friction, but it's almost like the footbed rises a little too high on the sides of the heel and creates bad rubbing after a while. I'm super bummed I can't return these, but I thought I should at least warn others who might be sensitive to heel blisters. They're great for short distances, but if you walk a lot, you may want to reconsider these shoes. Love Teva, but this style just didn't work for me.

Perfect for trekking through Belize, yet still looks stylish. Might run on the big size, so would recommend moving up a size if you’re concerned with fit.

I was looking to replace my well worn Tevas. But this wasn't the right one for me. The straps were uncomfortable, and the sole felt a bit off. It was cushiony but not something I could wear all day. Sent it back.

Comfy but I’d recommend ordering up a half size (definitely short). Unfortunately for me this means I have to return them, since they don’t make an 11.5 :’(

Perfect!! Great support....arch, ball of foot, toes and heel fit in all the right places! Straps adjust easily, no slipping... walked for hours first time worn, no problems! This is a very comfortable shoe and would certainly recommend!! Very pleased with this purchase!

Teva Hurricanes have been my go to sandal for years. I literally wear them out. Thought I would try something a little more stylish and these did not disappoint. They have a great arch support, which I need. They are easy to adjust. I wore them 11 hours yesterday at an amusement park and they felt great. I even brought my old Hurricanes as back up but did not need them. These also score on the cute factor.

I just bought my second pair of these sandals. The first pair lasted for years but finally the soles started wearing out. My new pair fits even better than the first pair as I bought a half size longer, which made it slightly wider and is my true size (not sure why I bought shorter pair the first time-- I think I bought them in a store and they didn't have my true size-- but I bought them anyway-- after all, they are open toes so it didn't make much difference).

i had this same style years ago and loved them... it seems like they beefed up the sole (could just be that i wore my old ones out?), but the forefoot -- as well as the rest of it -- feels a lot more rugged and supportive. i can't wait to wear these on my next adventure!

These are perfect shoes for walking on trails or even light hiking. I’m happy that I don’t have to put socks and tennis shoes on every time I want to take a walk. I also like that they keep my feet cooler than wearing athletic or hiking shoes. They are comfortable and nice looking. The color is more feminine than the colors of years past, which wasn’t a big consideration for me, but I appreciate it now that I wear them all the time. They fit perfectly too.

Less arch support than I hoped for. I have always been a Teva fan. I bought Teva Tirra's in the past, must admit though probably 2 years ago. This time around, they don't feel as comfortable. My biggest complaint is the arch support - feels like less of an arch support than in the past. I really wanted good arch support. Otherwise the shoes are great. No blisters from rubbing. The shoes are a bit wide, which I appreciate. I did have to go down an entire size to get the right fit. I do love the style.

OK but clunky styling and only minor comfort.

I was so excited to get these as I have worn Teva's for many years & they have always been my best walking shoe. However, like most things, they've changed the arch support and I am so disappointed as I was hoping to wear them on my upcoming trip. I have a very high instep and this arch support doesn't fill it. I even compared it to my old ones and it's just enough smaller to give me less support than I need so unfortunately will be returning them.

I absolutely love these sandals beyond words! I’ve owned this sandal for many years and in numerous colors. They’re perfect for a day at the beach, hiking, amusement parks, cave tubing in Belize, or anything you can imagine doing on your feet. The multiple adjustable straps allow you to customize the fit perfectly to your foot. They have the most amazing support and are dreamy comfortable! I’ve worn mine all over the world and love them so much! I promise you’ll love them too and recommend them to everyone you know!

I purchased these to replace my beloved Teva Pretty Rugged Sport Sandals, which after about eight years were separating at the rubber sole layers. My husband glued them up for a temporary repair, and I ordered some Original Universal Tevas with a similar appearance. After receiving them I realized the Original Universal Tevas were a sorry replacement and seemed flimsy. Also the foot bed was so wide as to look ridiculous on my narrow feet. I sent them back using Zappo's awesome return process. When I called Teva, they told me the Tirra was meant to replace the Pretty Rugged. The Tirra has two forward straps, where the Pretty Rugged only had one, so the extra adjustment looks to be an improvement. The Tirras seem to fit well, except once again the foot bed is wider than on my Pretty Ruggeds, so they look klunky in comparison (but thankfully less awkward than the Original Universal Tevas that I sent back). The foot bed, does, however, have some heft to it so seems supportive enough to withstand rocky hiking trails and river trips. The gros-grain straps are nicer looking than the nylon straps on the Pretty Rugged. Only time will tell what the Tirra straps and sandals look like after they have been abused like my Pretty Rugged sandals.

This is my third pair of these Tevas, and I love them. The fit is great, they have excellent support for walking, and you can wear them in all kinds of wet weather. Ordering was easy, delivery was swift. I highly recommend Tevas and Zappos!

Very pleased with this purchase!! Great support ....and, having the option to adjust all straps is a plus. I have narrow feet, especially a narrow heel(5a) — I can adjust the straps— no slipping and no crunching of toes to keep my feet from sliding around/off the sole. Quite comfortable!

These sandals are really comfortable and lightweight. Even though they are only available in a medium and I have bunions, the adjustable straps can be loosened meaning the sandals were comfortable straightaway and did not rub. This is the second pair of Tevas I’ve owned, I bought my first pair a few years ago and I’m pleased the design has not changed.

Well, must say, I'm disappointed, in the end. I'm wearing them now and have been doing so for the past few days but have blisters on the tops of both my feet, where the 2nd/middle of the three straps connects/overlaps. The smaller size exchanged for, solved the earlier problem of the straps' Velcro strips not being long enough to hold in place. I also find that the upper strap in both the size 8.5 and size 9, comes up so far on the foot as to cut off circulation. I always have to loosen the shoes when seated. That doesn't seem right/necessary. Guess I should have returned these too but I will wear them a bit longer. Guess Teva brand's not made for me. On a positive note, I love the foot bed. Very comfortable and airy feeling. Great arch support.

I searched high and low for a walking sandal for Italy Trip. These have great support and with the moderate arch support, my orthotic fits it perfectly. Many new sandals have such great arch support, its too much for adding my orthotic and I can't walk with them. I have wide feet and these fit well. My only concern is that the strap that goes over the arch of the foot hits me in a funny spot and I wish the strap was longer. The more I wear them, the less this is an issue so I am hopeful my feet with be as happy as my tummy in Italy!
