I have 3 other pair of Teva sandals. Good thing I love them. They never seem to wear out. One pair spent a month walking all over Amsterdam, Greece and Turkey and still going strong! Highly recommend for durability, support and style!

The arches were a little too high for complete comfort, but they were still comfortable hiking for long periods of time.

I love them-they are a great all-purpose active shoe. The straps just aren't 100% comfortable. After wearing them for a month, I still need to adjust to not get blisters. I would buy again though.

I like the stylish color and straps. I especially like the straps and how they are all adjustable. The comfort level of the inside of the sandle could be a little better, but maybe it helps with durability. Overall I would recommend and purchase this product in the future.

I have owned a pair of Teva Tirra sandals for several years, so when I ordered another pair online I was sure they would fit and be great. WRONG! The new sandals are almost an inch shorter than the old ones of the same style and size. Sandals should be somewhat longer than the foot meant to be inside them, but the current Teva Tirra sandal in size 11 is exactly the length of the foot meant to wear it according to their own size chart. This means the toes are at the end of the sandal, and thus are exposed to being damaged by everything from steps to furniture. The size 8 (ordered a pair for my grandchild) is almost an inch longer than the length of the foot meant to wear it according to Teva's size chart. The length of a sandal shoe bed made from these materials does not stretch - Teva is making size 11 Tirras SMALLER than they used to, something the company denies. Please note, that Teva does not make the Tirra in a size 11.5 or a size 12. If you can't wear the 11, then you are out of luck. The size 11 is smaller than a size 11 according to the company's own size chart.

I love these sandals - they are very comfortable and cool. I would suggest that if you wear a half size to go up a size.

My daughter and I each got a pair. We have worn these sandals on several neighborhood walks & hiking along the rocky terrain of the north shore of Lake Superior....we LOVE them!! There was not break-in period and neither of us got blisters. They have wonderful support. My daughter's knees tend to hurt if she doesn't have the right support....her knees have not bothered her with these sandals. The Velcro on the toe straps allow for the perfect fit for me because I need a wide toe box, yet my daughter also gets the perfect fit for her more streamlined feet (she fortunately did not get my feet). Pretty sure my other daughter is going to buy a pair now after we couldn't say enough about them.

I have had the exact same style Teva prior to this pair. I love the arch support, this allowed me to wear these even if I was planning to go hiking. I have worn them in the ocean, walking in rivers, while out on a boat on an inland lake, and on the beaches and waters of the Great Lakes. My only concern is, that my old pairs size had worn off and I guessed when I ordered. I ordered an 8.5 and I should have ordered a size 9. I did wear them while in the U.P. of Michgan this last Holiday week. I wore them for a river walk and into Lake Superior. I did get some rub blisters. Otherwise, I know they will last me a good long time.

The hard plastic oval loop that the ankle strap passes through to fasten these velcro sandals does not stay in place. It rotates, forcIng the strap Into the tiny end of the loop. I expect this will reduce the life of these sandals.

I have two pairs of these that I bought a few years back and I love them! I ordered a new pair and the arches are in the wrong place on my foot and in different places on each foot. I ordered two more pairs to see if they would be better and out of 3 pairs only one sandal had the arch in the right place. I had to return them all. So disappointed. I wish the quality content was better.

I have been wearing Teva's for years; these are super nice and comfortable. My feet always hurt and I need a shoe that is supportive and comfortable. These, so far, fit the bill. I have always likes Teva; I can wear them for hours walking around; my feet can breath; they are also great in the water (white water rafting, swimming in rocky rivers/lakes etc.). I would recommend these.

I wear my Tirras all the time. The straps are adjustable so you can wear socks with them in the winter and go barefoot in them in summer. I love the velcro connections that are so easy to undo. The bad thing is that feet get smelly in them. But I spray myTevas with Bactine and that seems to prevent the problem. I wear them on the river and hiking too. I got two pair the same color. one pair at the front door and one at the back door.

I've been buying Teva sandals for a very long time, and still have a 20 year old pair that I use for beach walking. Early last year I found a pair of Tirra's in pale aqua at a local store. I loved them. They look good, and are really comfortable. I've even thrown on a pair of socks under them and used them for light hiking. I wanted more, but couldn't find them in my size. I ordered 2 pairs directly from Teva and had a wide choice of colors. I picked 2 and I love them both. I already had a pair that fit perfectly, and the 2 new pairs in the same size fit perfectly as well.

Very comfortable for walking around. Well supported. The downside, the straps are not made for people with high insteps. So very little of the velcro attaches to keep it secure.

The last time I purchased a version of this sandal was about 4 or 5 years ago and I chose a size 8 which fit my long arch perfectly. This time, the 8 clearly is not the same arch length so it feels a little uncomfortable compared to my old pair. The rest of the show is well-made of quality materials so my solution, I suppose, would be to order the next 1/2 size up. Jean M

I already had a similar style with a single strap across the front of the foot, so assumed that Tirra would fit the same. Wrong. The footbed is a lot wider - too wide for me. My foot slides around, the arch is located way wide of my foot's arch, and I cannot use the sandal straps to cinch my foot down in place because then they cut into my foot. Sad and expensive mistake - I have worn them outside in trying to make them work, so now I cannot return. Beware if you have a narrow foot.
