Great comfortable shoes. I suffer from back issues and the pads on these shoes feel like you're floating on a cloud. I love putting them on at night after a long day of work and go for a walk with the dog.

Bought for son with wide feet and painful fallen arches. Fit well and relieved pain immediately. Soft soles, moderate arch.

This woman LOVES her men's Teva Katavi's for her plantar fasciitis as well as her wide foot! After extensive searching at shops, the internet, buying a ton of sandals of different sizes and brands from Zappos built for men and women I sent all but one pair back, a pair of Cascade's. I've done my research, read hours of reviews, tried lots of brands, models and sizes built for both gender. I ended up at a shop in Florida this spring [2014] buying these men's Teva Katavi Thongs and am VERY HAPPY. I bought them in a men's size 9, I would normally wear a women's 10, 10W or 11 depending on the fit in women's sandals. Being a woman with a larger as well as a wider foot I've embraced buying men's shoes/sandals when I find them the best fit, especially dealing with PF. I saw these Teva's on display and tried them on. At the same time, I also tried on some Olukai Ohana sandals as well as a few other brands. The Teva Katavi Thongs are much more comfortable and offer much more cushioning and I think they are slightly wider and sturdier than the Olukai's. I had previously owned a pair of Olukai Ohana's in men's and thus far am much happier with the Teva Katavi's. The Katavi's took a few days to strech the bands across the foot a bit, but... I didn't have any blisters and just a bit of red marks. I just switched out to a different pair of shoes/sandals and gradually [3-4 days] broke them in. Now I have walked miles in them and have been very comfortable. No PF flare ups - YAY! I use them around the house right now until the snowy and muddy mess of spring makes its way to grass. I will be looking to buy another pair. I have tried to research if there is a comparable pair in women's. I have not found any, that day at the shop in Florida I didn't have any luck in the women's section. The only other sandal that I have found that has worked for me in regards to fit in a women's thong or flip flop is the VIONIC with Orthaheel Technology Cascade which I'd bought when I ordered a ton of sandals to try from Zappos, all the others went back ;(. It is in a women's size 11. The width is a bit narrower than I'd like but they didn't cause any pink/red marks and didn't need any breaking in time. The Cascade's has some cushioning and arch support. When I compare the two different sandals on my feet the Cascades look a bit more refined and also make my foot look longer and the Teva Katavi's make my foot look a bit shorter and wider in them but they are much more cushioned as well as a better arch support as well. I'm ok with that! The Cascade is priced at least $$ higher on the Zappo's website than other sites. I prefer the Teva Katavi sandal to the Cascade. So, if you have a wider foot, want cushioning as well as arch support perhaps because of plantar faciitis you may want to consider the Teva Katavi no matter what gender you are. Like I said I LOVE MY TEVA KATAVI sandals!

This is my second pair of these. The ultimate flip flop. Super comfortable dry and wet. Often wear for 12-16 hours at a time. Also great traction for the boat. Durable too, last pair went a little over a year of constant use.

I am going to be buying my third pair of these flip-flops this year. I bought my first pair when on vacation in Florida and wore them for two whole summers constantly until they almost had a hole in the bottom and one of the straps broke. They still were very good quality and, even for flip-flops, were worth the price. I normally do not really like wearing flip-flops because I do not ever find them to be very comfortable, but these were an exception. These are probably the most comfortable flip-flops that I have ever owned. I highly recommend them!

I have purchased and returned countless sandals and flip flops for my guy and have also kept some that have just been OK. These he wore regularly right out of the box with no blisters or other issues.

2nd pair of Teva Thongs. Wore the first pair until they fell apart - LOVE THEM. Normally wear an 8 1/2 but perfectly fine with the size 9 since there are no 1/2 sizes available. Only wish Teva would make more colors

This is a comfy shoe, however the toe strap is tight for a men's shoe. I'm a woman with a wide but flat foot and it just fits me, but I did have to break it in a bit.

Teva sandals have turned out to be the best sandal I have purchased. I take part in several water sports boating, paddle boarding and surfing. This model sandal was put through extreme conditions over 90 days this summer wearing them every day. I recommend alternating with another pair to get longer life wear. Truly rugged and provide great protection near rocks in beach areas. Zappos gracias!

Super comfortable slippers (mainland "thongs"). That said, I've now had 3 pair blowout the side straps over the past two years. I've managed to mix and match (they seem to self destruct at about the same time), but won't buy another pair. Sorry Teva. Great slippers but bad quality control.

This is the gold standard of everyday-wearable shoe-replacing sandals. Tough, proper sole and comfortable, strong webbing. Have used this model and its predecessors for many years. Strongly recommended.
