The Men's Katavi Sandals provide FAR MORE support than my last pair of sandals. I'll know from now on to purchase athletic sandals. Previously, I never knew athletic sandals were an option. I first heard of TEVA on a popular social bookmarking site I use. TEVA had been bookmarked by thousands of people.
When I called TEVA customer service to report that I wanted to exchange the sandals for a smaller size, the representative I spoke with advised me that a good rule of them when ordering sandals is to order one size below my regular size and one size up when ordering boots. This was excellent advice (that I never knew before). The representative was friendly, well informed and accommodating. I exchanged the sandals without a problem.
It's too soon to tell about durability. The feel of the sandals is something I've had to get used to. They weren't what I would have called "comfortable", despite the welcome support they provide as I walk NYC's concrete sidewalks. However, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these sandals (or other TEVA products) in the future. As long as you remember to SIZE DOWN, these sandals will probably well suit your needs.

I bought my first Teva's 31 years ago and just replaced them with the Kavati. There were two reasons that I replaced the old ones: The soles were warn out and a friend told me that my old sandles look like they are from the hippie era.
I hope the Kavati will last as long.

i pretty much have been wearing these everywhere. they are comfortable & functional(they did take a couple of days to break in). they seem pretty durable but i've only had them for about a month or so, so i can't really say if they wear out quickly or not. as of now i would definately recommend them as a great all around sandal.

I own multiple pairs. I wear them daily, except during the work day as I am required to wear closed toes shoes. I have been a loyal customer for 10+ years. My biggest problem I have had over the years is glue failures causing the straps and soles to come loose. I live on a tropical island so they get wet a lot in both rain and sea water, but dry out quickly which is very helpful. If you resolve the glue failure problem you would resolve the only dislike I have of your product.

I enjoy wearing my new Katavis. However I do notice the straps seem shorter than my previous pair, which make it difficult for me to comfortably adjust the sandal for the width of my foot. Please add some material to the straps so we can wear the sandals a bit more loose.
Thanks.

I have been wearing Teva's for many years. Purchased Katavi suedes after Terra Fi 3's failed.
Leather works well, but do not like the footbed in wet conditions. Ordered standard Katavi but in size 9. Straps too short for very high instep. Decided to take another chance on Terra Fi 3's for water use. I like the Katavis for dry conditions.
Am keeping fingers crossed and will let you know how Terra Fi's work out. I have had 5 pair previously.

A very attractive sandal, and with the adjustable back, it was made specifically for MY foot.

Wished they had fit. Very nice looking and quality but the tops were so narrow by the time the straps were let out there was so much Velcro showing and such a big gap the gap it looked ugly. I have a medium width foot but high instep.

Good looking quality sandals and wished they had fit. However the tops are very narrow so if you have a high arch or medium width feet there will be so much Velcro showing after loosening the straps it looks ugly.

My 11 foot has fitted well with two other Teva foot beds but in the present case, I could not be satisfied despite multiple strap adjustment. There was still too much toe overhand when best adjusted.

My first pair lasted a few to several years until the glue keeping the top & bottom of base came undone. I just re-glued and still use them.
My first new pair did not last 2-3 months of weekend wear. They fit good, however the leather holding the back wore on both. This newest pair are not as comfortable. I wear them very loose on the straps and are still not super comfortable.

I have worn Teva sandals for over 15 years. These are not up to their usual standard. Poor fit and straps abrasive on the top of my foot. I am returning.

Looks trail ready. It's not. The soles are to squishy and the straps too flimsy. I use these sandals to wash my car in the drive way and walk my dogs around the block.

I do a lot of work with turtle and crocodile conservation in tropical environments and are great in the field and travel in between. My biggest feedback is they seem to fail at the worst time. Out in the field where you need them the most. I usually try to carry spare but it always seems to be the glue that holds the straps to the inside of the sole. Seems to be a quality control issue that keeps happening. They are for sure not the cheapest sandal out there but the cheaper ones are as good as these as far as assembly. Knock offs in Cambodia last as long or longer.
