Like another reviewer, we had this Breville kettle for about two years. The blue light stopped working after about a year and the kettle itself stopped working after two years. We eked out another few months by turning the kettle on the base until hearing a soft grinding sound (contact being made?) but that was inconsistent and frustrating and we're now in the market for a new kettle and won't be getting this one again.
