Skirt is very soft and comfortable, true to size. But the shorts inside the skirt are very short. If you have bigger thighs and are looking for something to help prevent chafing when it's hot outside, these shorts are too short to be helpful. Have to return this.

Holy cow! This is the best skirt I've ever worn. Huge plus that it's a skort as well. The material is amazingly soft. I am 5'7'' and 150lbs. A medium fits just perfectly. I will be back for more colors soon! Love!

I'm 5'4 and ordered the small and it fits great. This skirt is great for active moms. The built-in pantry is great for going to the park, etc.

This is my favorite skort ever! I am 5'7", 133 lbs and the small is perfect. The first time I put the skort on it felt a little snug and then it loosened up on its own. I have 2 and I keep thinking about getting a 3rd. The material is soft and the the shorts and nice and short and soft also.

Purchased this skort for traveling and it has become my favorite piece of clothing. Very flattering for someone with an athletic build. Bought two in each color I liked them so much.

I have worn this skort for 2 years and love it. It is super comfortable and doesn't wrinkle. It washes easily and looks sporty/sassy. I would rather wear it than a skirt any day! I have been stopped numerous times by strangers who compliment it and ask where I got it.

I love this skort so much that after I purchased it last year in grey I had to have this bright little number in my wardrobe this year. Fits true to size, extremely comfortable while looking casually stylish. A must have for hot summers. Washes well and construction is solid.

This is a great skirt, skort, or whatever you want to call it. It is made with a soft, yet durable fabric. The shorts underneath are comfortable. This is my second Horny Toad skirt. I love them!

Great skirt with light liner shorts underneath. Hangs close to body contours and is very flattering. Took on vacation to Kauai and ended up throwing it on every day.

A fabulous skort. Hangs nicely, moves beautifully and packs well. I\'d buy it in a dozen colors -- it\'s that comfortable. Definitely worth the price.

This skort is cute and comfy. I am a size 12 (bigger in the thighs and hips) and found the large to fit well. I'm 5'8'' and it's a bit shorter than I would have like, but hey, it has shorts under it! Other reviewers are correct in saying the waist is quite roomy. The shorts underneath are very short. On me, they fit more like boy-short-style underpants. The only other thing I would say about this is it's a bit thin, but that's a good thing in hot weather. Is it worth the money? Maybe.

This skirt just does not fit right. The waistband kept bunching in strange places.

Super comfortable soft fabric including the shorts underneath the skirt. However, I ordered the black and the color is more of a faded black/dark gray--had to return due to color not being a true black.

Looks great in the picture, but didn't translate. I'm 5'7" (and 40 years old) and it was way too short for me. I also think it runs small -- I have another Horny Toad jersey skirt in a S and it fits perfectly. This in a S really pulled tight across my hips. Also, as the other reviewer said, the shorts underneath are pretty tight and short and I'd worry about ride-up.

I liked this skirt so much when I saw it on another site where it was sold out that I came looking on Zappos. Unfortunately, it did not work at all on my curvy body. I ordered a L (I'm usually an 8-10 in skirts and a 12 in pants) to accommodate my curvy booty. However, this skort has an EXTREMELY low rise, is big in the waist (although there is a drawstring), and is very short. I'm 5'3 and it hits about 2" above my knee. The shorts are very short -- too short to eliminate chafing during hiking (which is the whole reason, for me, to wear a skort instead of a skirt). Because the waist had to be cinched so tightly, it pulled in a weird way in the back. I wanted this to be more flowy and I love the Horny Toad fabric, but it just wasn't working for me.

Super comfortable, but the fabric is so thin you can see right through it. I had to return. :(

This is a really comfortable skort and I love the hyacinth (purple)color. I plan to use this as a casual skirt/skort and also for light hiking. I also liked Horny Toad Chakra skirt in the same color so if you like this but don't want the skort, I would recommend trying the Chakra skirt. I wanted a skort because it works well playing with my 5-year-old daughter.

This skirt is great. I like the lower waistline... Bought it in two colors. I only wish the black was more 'black'. Otherwise I always love shopping at Zappos!

Very comfortable skirt. I am a size 6-8 and 5'6. The rise (for the attached short) is in fact short, but fit fine. I wish the skirt were a few inches shorter!

This is the worst skort ever. I love the material of the skirt, but it hangs terribly especially in the belly area if you have any tummy at all. Plus the short inside is super short. What is the point? This is the worst skort that I have ever purchased.

Great skort, wish I could get more in other colors. Sometimes the shorts bunch up underneath but not too big a deal. Rebels comfy and cute.

Loved the fabric, fit & feel of this. I wear a size 8 and the medium fit was perfect. I am also only 5'5 so the length on this was perfect whereas the length on the Chakra skirt was too long for me. I ordered the black which was lovely...ordering a second in another color.
