After a few attempts at purchasing another brand/style on Zappos I finally found a great sneaker! I race walk at least 5 miles per outing so I need a sturdy, yet flexible shoe that supports and stabilizes lateral roll, but is cushioned and has arch support, as well. I normally wear an 11B but recently began to get toe pain in mid-walk, so I went up a half size and have a little room to spare which has made all the differnce. The Asics 1150 in the color shown is not only a funcionally superb sneaker, it is really cute, too!

After trying several makes of sneakers I finally found the Asics, wide. These fit true to size and are very comfortable. I have a problem with my right foot and these are great for my walks. I walk 4 miles at least 4 times a week and these are great. I tried New Balance, although the width is really good, all the models I've tried slip off my foot at the ankles. I love shopping from Zappos.com because they have the best customer service and free shipping both ways and fast shipping. I received my sneakers within 2 days. They have the best customer service and I got the nicest people I've ever dealt with (I spoke with 3 employees).

Love 'em, needed half size bigger, wish they would reinforce the mesh on the top of the toe, big, so it wouldn't eventually like my others did but bought them again so really comfortable. Can always send back for free. Can't lose with Zappos.

Got my new shoes. No breaking is necessary. Fit was great for my wide foot. They feel light. Look great.

The best thing about this shoe is that it is available in a narrow width. It is a good solid cross trainer and I like the fact that it has the gel.

These shoes were a little too long. I wear an 8 and these seem like 8.5. So I am going to return for a 7.5 if they have them.

With Asics I feel that it's very hit or miss. Maybe it's my feet? The inner arch support in this is way too high and starts rubbing my foot to the point of blistering after 2 or 3 miles. I thought it would break in after 15 or so miles, but no luck so far. Since I can't return them, I bought Asics 2150 after trying them on in a store. They feel much better for me than the Gel-1150.

I've worn Asics shoes for several years and loved them, but this pair did not fit properly on the right foot and hurt my toe. Sorry that I have to return them.

These shoes are great. Just what I expected as an Asics lover. Enough arch support to stabilize my foot and make jogging comfortable.

I ordered these because the Gel Kayano that I ordered before is out of stock. These were quite a bit cheaper, and I can tell. I need the support of the Gel Kayano. As far as looks, they’re great. Narrow enough too. I wear a 10N in ordinary shoes so I usually get a 10 1/2 in athletic shoes. So with that I would say they are true to size for me. They are just not supportive enough for standing all day.

It would be a rare shoe that would earn "excellent arch support from me", but this shoe has better than average arch support; AA shoe is more narrow than most other brands, so if you are looking for one that is just slightly more narrow than other manufacturers’ shoes, this could be the shoe for you.

I'm a casual but regular jogger and bought these when I was overdue for a new pair of running shoes. I should have shopped around more. They felt fine, if a little stiff, when I first put them on, but I thought they would break in well, and I like the gel sole. I'm usually an 8 to 8 1/2, generally buy 1/2 size up in running shoes, have wide feet but haven't had a problem fitting comfortably into 9s. When I tried them for a run the first 1/2 mile was fine, but then they began to slip in the heel while feeling tight across the foot. Toebox is small so it felt like they fit, but the shoe is too long and narrow. Gel sole gives good support, but it's no use when the shoe doesn't fit. Too late to return them. They look nice, though!

They are okay shoes, but not as good as the Nimbus style. They were bought out of desperation and they were cheaper. I'm a serious runner and buy shoes every 3 months. I've had these 1 month and already need a new pair. The ankle/heel of the top of the shoe is much lower than the Nimbus style. Sometimes it feels as if my heel is coming out of the shoe. It is okay to get me through to buying the Nimbus, but I wouldn't buy it again if you are a serious runner.

Love the look of this shoe, but it seems to run narrow for a wide shoe. Therefore, I am having to return it. Would love to see more pink shoes though.

The padding of the collar of this shoe was rough and uncomfortable. The width (B) was too narrow. The quality looked and felt cheap. The shoe, however, was very attractive in design.

I was a huge fan of the Asics Gel-1140 which have been discontinued. This is NOT a good choice to replace that shoe. Toe box is smaller. Arch support is not the same. Not as cushy as the 1140. I hadn't even walked 20 miles in the shoes and I couldn't make it through a 4 mile walk because of foot pain.

Very disappointed in this shoe. It was a full size smaller than the previous year\'s model. I am a size 7 who is now a size 8 who may need to be a size 9. How ridiculous is sizing becoming. Generally, Asics is a marvelous shoe. I am very sad to see this happen.
