My kid loves these shoes. He doesn't feel the any pressure on his heel and feels as if walking on a pillow.

These shoes are awesome! I'm 5'3", 120 lbs and I took these to a soccer camp retreat. They held up wonderfully! These shoes have just as much support as my Women's Kayano 14's! The only exception: I took these to the Rose Bowl loops and as I ran, I could feel the front laces dig into my big toes' ligaments/tendons (the one that runs up the back of each foot). I got a cut on my left foot, but they're fine if I loosen them in the front, and tie them tighter in the back. Overall, these are quite decent shoes with lots of shock absorption! Great for trail running! I had a pair of 7.5 Women's Kayano 14s. And the 6 these kid's Kayano 16's are a bit big (that's the problem). So for a 7.5 Women's, go for a 5.5 kids.
