Hubby is on feet 12 hours a day and says they are only okay (he immediately put in insoles which help). Alas they are more fashionable than anything.

My first pair of "skaters," and I really like them. Much more comfortable than I thought, and they look great. Only wish that the laces were about 2" - 3" shorter, but I guess that's part of the style.

Really a great work shoe. Extremely light and comfortable for a work boot, especially for being a true steel toe. They also look good enough to wear outside of work. I wear these with insoles but factory insole was quite comfortable. For the last couple of weeks they have held up well in an industrial environment.

I work for a manufacture and am on my feet for 8 hours a day. I had boots before these and not going back. These are light weight and look like a normal shoe un-like most steel toe shoes. They dont offer the best foot support but neither do most skate shoes. It could be my feet but think I\'ll change the inserts in them.

These shoes are very comfortable. The removable insoles in these shoes are really soft! Your feet will feel good in these shoes. I use these at work and they are great. They are part skateboard shoes so they are a little loose on the ankle. Just tie your shoes if they are too loose on the ankle. The only problem is that the suede black fades over time. Overall great shoe though.

First pair of converse shoes I\'ve ever purchased, and there were n\r\no reviews at the time so I was hesitant, however I am very happy with the shoes so far. Had to lace them differently at the top, because the tounge of the shoe was too toght against my ankle, the shoe laces are also very long, I suggest a double knot and just slide them on and off. Overall very happy with the shoes and would recommend. \r\n\r\n

Okay, feet slip around in them a lot! Going to buy some gel soles to stop the slip.

Shoe looked cool and felt alright but after a day of wearing I could feel the side of the steel toe rubbing and pressing against my big toe. Had to send it back.

Great style, good comfort, but not at all slip-resistant on wet surfaces. I work in a restaurant, and right out of the box these shoes are like skating on ice if the floor is even a little wet. I bought these to replace an old pair of work boots and I'm boggled by how a "slip resistant" modern shoe can be so thoroughly outperformed by Vietnam-era combat boots with zero tread left. They're comfortable and great to wear casually and when cycling, but they're an outright hazard on a wet floor.

Do yourself a favor and get the high tops instead. These shoes are awful. First off, they are not even a little bit slip resistant! If anything, I would call them slip persistent. I've had these for about 3 weeks, and they haven't gotten any better. Second, they are def. a 1/2 size too big. And third, they have no support whatsoever. Buy these if you like ice skating (with ice skates that are too big and generally uncomfortable).

I've had these shoes for 6 months now. I work 9 hours a day, 5 days a week in a warehouse. On my feet all day. These shoes felt great at first (first 2-3 weeks). Then something started to feel wrong. The insole started to fall apart. When standing in a puddle of water, I noticed that water was leaking into the shoe from the bottom. Many cracks and small holes in the bottom sole. Went back to my 1.5 year old Skechers (those were better, even after 1.5 years). Not recommended for everyday use.

Love the shoe! I'm not your typical cookie cutter work leader and I like to set myself apart from the herd. I'm getting ready to replace my converse with the same model that I bought 14 months ago. I'm on my feet 7hrs a day everyday as a mechanic. They are comfortable lightweight and stylin! It took about a week to get that comfort of a "broke in" feel. The heel area inside is wore through but the outside is in great shape.

These are the best work shoes I've ever had! I bought these to replace a set of Skechers work shoes that were worn out after 2 years. I have specific needs for work shoes. Must be black, non-skid, electrical safety rated, and steel or composite toe shoes. Unfortunately until now, comfort has always taken a back seat. These feel and look just like skate shoes. They feel like they are half the weight of the Skechers, which is great on my dogs. I've had them for a month, and I should get a commission. I've sold at least 3 pairs to coworkers, and they all love them too.

Bought this for my husband who is super picky about shoes. He wanted a steel toe shoe that wasn't a boot. He loves these. Said that they do pinch a little in the toe (due to it being steel toe) but he wears them constantly so I know he likes them.

This is all work. I thought it would be a regular skate shoe just with a hard toe. I was wrong - it's a shoe that is tough. I used Red Wings for 15 years and got tired of the high price and claims they would outlast all other shoes. I could buy 2 shoes for the price of one Red Wing and not look like an old man. I wear a 13 in sneakers and a 12 in a boots, these I would need a 11.5.
I'd also recommend:
buy a half size smaller.

The sizing on these shoes is completely off. I do not recommend buying them online. I had to return twice and still don't really like the overall fit.

This was a Xmas present for a friend that works on cars for a living. He said they are warm, comfortable, and his boss is glad he's now wearing steel toes.

Excellent fit. Seem to wear well. They are a bit tall, the sole is fairly thick. They also leave black marks if rubbed on the edge as most work shoes do if that is an issue for you. I highly recommend them. They are extremely comfortable; however, I did add custom inserts immediately. Great shoe, great look, good cushion, and very light for safety shoes.

Got these for my boyfriend for work. He needed non-slip shoes and love skate shoes, so these were perfect. He loves them and the guys he works with were shocked that they were steel toed work shoes! He did add some insoles, as the shoes were a bit 'hard'.

I have had these shoes well over a year and I feel they still have a bit of life left in them. I wear them every day while on the job working aircraft maintenance. They've seen plenty of grease, oil and solvent, and have managed to hold up nicely. I find them to be almost just as comfortable as my regular street shoes and feel that they are on par with most other work books and shoes I've had in the past when it comes to features like non-slip, steel-toe, etc. The only bad thing I can say is I wish I would have gone with the black instead of blue because the white souls turned brown fairly quick due to the nature of the job. I will be buying a black pair when my current pair wears out completely.
