I like this shoe because it actually fits. My heel does not slip up and down and the instep is not high. At first they feel pretty tight, but leather gives after you wear them. They are a bit pricey though, but I was desperate.

These are too big. I have a wide foot with narrow heel. Other Munro WW fit me OK. I still need a heel pad.This shoe was way big all the way around. I'm going to try the W instead. This shoe looks great.

This shoe is extremely sturdy; clunky, in fact. The leather would be more appropriate for a hiking boot. I returned it because it was too wide through the front, although it fit well at the heel. I feel it is overpriced.

I purchased these shoes in November. They are extremely comfortable and fit very well. I was about to pronounce them some of the best shoes I had ever owned, then the right shoe started to squeak. At first I thought I might have stepped in something that was causing the sole to squeak, but that's not the case. It's the shoe itself. These shoes are pretty expensive, but having narrow feet I don't mind paying this much for shoes that really fit. But if I'm going to pay this much I expect much better quality than this!

I asked Zappos to let me know if another pair of shoes became available. They did and I had the shoes within 24 hours. I also enjoy the fun comments made regarding my order. I will return when I have a need. Too bad Munro has discontinued this popular style

I have had several pair of Munro American shoes. This is my third pair of Munro American Evie shoes -- my second black pair and I have a brown pair. They are very sturdy, supportive shoes. I have narrow feet and need support. I also replace the insert with my own orthotic insert and it works very well. I have tried other shoes but they don't compare to these for comfort and support. They are worth every penny they cost for this great shoe.

Tired of changing from inside shoes to snow boots and back again throughout the day - I finally found the perfect shoe. I put them on first thing in the morning, wear them to work, walk the dog in the snow, wear them in the house and all the while my feet are dry, warm and comfortable. I recommend this Munro product.

My most recent order is for my 5th pair in this style. Why 5th? Comfort is foremost and fashion 2nd and then fashion/comfort/fashion. The fit is right for me, including minimal orthotics and I can and do miles in these. Hooray.

I love the Munro brand, but these exceeded my high expectations. They are easily the most well made, comfortable shoes that I have owned in a long time.

Probably the most well-made, beautifully fitting shoes I've ever owned. I was already a fan of this brand, but this particular shoe is a dream. Well made, soft leather, nice tread on the sole, small bit of height in the heel - these are a dream. I wish the company would offer a few more colors/finishes other than the two already available - I'd buy another pair, happily.

These are my new favorite shoes. They are true to size overall but a little wider in the fore foot which is great and they give my toes some room. The zipper closures work smoothly and they stay put when zipped up. I have high arches, so wear an insole arch support and they also fit just fine in these shoes. The soles are flexible and rugged. The patent leather detailing on the sides give them a unique look. I love these shoes!

I work and teach at a college. I am on my feet a lot. I bought the Munro Evies over a year ago and have worn them nearly every day since. They are the most comfortable non-sneaker shoes I have ever owned, and after wearing them some 200 times, there is still plenty of wear in the sole, the stitching is still perfect, the leather is wearing like iron, the zippers are smooth. The insoles are the only parts that are showing the least bit of wear. I love these shoes! I have medium wide feet in a women's 11. The fit is perfect.

These are my favorite shoes. I have several pairs because they are so comfortable. You can walk forever and be stylish.

I don't know if they have altered the structure of this shoe in the past couple of years, but mine (purchased from Zappos a couple of years ago) seem roomy compared to my other Munro shoes of the same size. My 10 WW feet (sometimes 10.5 WW) have more than enough room. I think the shoes look a little clunky, but I am perfectly happy wearing them with jeans to work on Fridays. Comfort is key for me, and these shoes are stable and a good shoe for a long day with a moderate amount of standing and walking. The soles are not squishy, so don't expect that level of cushioning; but they are comfortable.

I love this shoe. I am a 6.5 EE and hard to fit. This pair needed nobeaking in at all. I received so many compliments as the quality of the leather is exquisite. I would recommend these shoes. Even though the price is high they are worth every penny. Also, the sole absorbs the shock and atill looks great.

I needed a pair of comfortable, sturdy work shoes for wide feet. I read all the other reviews & decided to try these out. Per most of the comments, I went with my "normal" shoe size rather than the larger size I usually get in order to get the width I need. They fit like a glove and felt like comfy slippers. I got the ones with the bit of patent leather on them & it jazzes them up just enough. I am inclined to agree with the others that mentioned their heels slipped a bit. I experience that on one side only, but they don't move enough to be uncomfortable or give blisters. I can be on my feet all day & be comfortable. Best work shoes I've gotten...well worth the money in my opinion.

It is great to find an American shoe, well made, and a perfect fit. Anyone with a narrow foot knows how difficult it is to find a high quality, good looking shoe wherein the same size in any model fits perfectly...well, this is a brand that does exactly that!

Customer service was remarkable, exceptional in being very helpful, very nice and professional. They went beyond, and I would recommend Zappos just for that! Thank you for sending - in no time the right size shoe for my sister who had a plane to catch. And of course their shoe selection is really good!

There are few companies that make narrow shoes and Munro is one of the best. This is my second pair of Evie shoes. They are very comfortable,stylish and long wearing.

I put these shoes on and right out of the box I thought, Wow, these are really comfortable. And they are red. That's like having your cake and eating it too. My custom orthotics fit well inside. I am incredibly pleased with these shoes.
